The Outer Worlds Platinum Trophy
Collected all trophies for The Outer Worlds.

The Outer Worlds
Completed The Outer Worlds on any difficulty.
Simply play the game on easy difficulty and no matter what choices you make once you finish the final story mission Brave New World your Trophy will unlock.

Hard
Completed The Outer Worlds on hard difficulty.
On hard difficulty the enemies you face will take more damage and in turn will hit you much harder and can kill you quicker, playing the game on an easier difficulty first will help you know what is coming next and make hard easier to tackle. A word of warning. If you change the difficulty during your hard playthrough this will negate the trophy. Once you complete the final story mission on hard difficulty, your Trophy will unlock.

Supernova
Completed The Outer Worlds on supernova difficulty.
Supernova is the hardest difficulty in the game and this means the enemies are very hard to kill and can kill you very quickly, it also comes with the following added difficulty factors:
- You will have to eat, drink and sleep to survive.
- Companions can die permanently and can’t be revived.
- You can only fast travel to your ship.
- You can only save in your ship.
- Autosaves are very sporadic.
Your only strategy is to complete the game on an easier difficulty first so you know what to expect in the latter half of the game ensuring you never change the difficulty even for a second only engaging an enemy when you have to, upon completion of the last story mission your Trophy will unlock.

Best Friend
Recruited a companion.
Companions can be recruited throughout the game, your first opportunity arises when you reach Edgewater and talk to Reed Tobson who asks you to have Parvari to join you on your next quest, simply reply yes where your Trophy will unlock.

The Harder They Fall
Killed a mega creature.
Your first Mega Creature opportunity is just outside the settlement of Edgewater under the Edgewater Landing Pad, this is a Mega Sprat and can be killed quickly making this your easiest opportunity to get this Trophy out of the way.

Got Your Back
Killed 50 enemies with companion abilities.
With a companion at your side they will have a meter than when fully charged means you can get them to use an ability by pressing Left or Right, as long as you use this ability frequently you will get this Trophy to unlock during your first playthrough.

Silver Tongue
Used dialog skills 30 times in conversations.
When talking to anyone you will get prompts during the dialogs where you can lie, intimidate or persuade a conversation, you don’t have to be successful just use them a total of 30 times to unlock your Trophy.

Poor Sportsmanship
Hit 30 enemies in the groin during tactical time dilation.
Tactical Time Dilation is an ability you learn at the start of the game and is triggered by pressing R1 and it slows down time for a very short period, now during this ability hit a human enemy in the groin a total of 30 times to unlock your Trophy.

Upgrades Available
Improved your gear 30 times through tinkering and mods.
In order to unlock the workbench you first need to increase your intelligence skill, with that done approach a workbench and you will be given the option to tinker by pressing now tinker away on any weapon or armour piece and after doing this 30 times your Trophy will unlock.

Never Seen
Killed 50 enemies with sneak attacks.
In order to perform a sneak attack you must first have 20 points in your stealth skill tree to unlock the ability. With sneak attack unlocked accept the Slaughterhouse Clive quest located on the planet Monarch, then save your game before entering the slaughterhouse facility and go around performing sneak attack kills on all the pigs, when they are all dead simply reload your save from before you started killing until you get the Trophy.

Short Circuit
Killed 30 automechanicals with shock damage.
Shock weapons can be found by killing enemies or can be added to any of your weapons using a workbench, to unlock the workbench skill you will need to put 20 points into your intelligence skill. Approach a workbench and select any weapon in your inventory then choose the modifications tab and apply the shock modification. The game does not have many Auto-mechanicals so you may have to grind this out, a good spot is the C & P factory on the planet Monarch, make a manual save prior to entering the building and kills all inside then reload your save and repeat the process until you have got the 30 kills, unlocking your Trophy in the process.

Health Insurance
Used the medical inhaler 300 times.
The medical inhaler is available from the start of the game and is activated by pressing L1, the quickest way to get this is to make a manual save and use up all your stock then reload the save. It counts even at full health and once you have used it a total of 300 times where your Trophy will unlock.

We All Fall Down
Turned 100 enemies to ash with plasma damage.
Plasma damage can be found with any weapon you pick up or added to a weapon via a workbench, to add it via a workbench you will need to invest 20 points into your intelligence skill. With a plasma weapon in hand go to the C & P factory in monarch and then make a manual save outside then head inside and kill all the pigs inside using the plasma weapon, when they are all dead reload your save and repeat until you get the 100 kills.

Tossball All Star
Killed 50 enemies with a tossball stick or tossball blocker.
The tossball stick and tossball blocker are both melee weapons, the stick can be found next to the workbench on the unreliable so equip this and then keep killing enemies until you rack up the 50 kills required to unlock this Trophy.

Everything Must Go
Sold 10,000 bits worth of items to vendors.
The first vendor you will come across is found on the Groundbreaker and you can sell pretty much anything you can scavenge, so always pick up items from all the enemies you kill, eventually selling these items you will cross the 10,000 bits value mark, unlocking your Trophy.

Everybody Likes Me
Had 75% or higher positive reputation with 3 factions.
Factions are groups of people that make up a settlement, if you play the story and do your best not to go around causing death and destruction you will gain positive reputation by just completing side quests for each faction. To check your current reputation pause your game and choose the reputation tab from the character sub menu. Once you have maximum positive rep in 3 separate factions, your Trophy will unlock.

Destroyer of Worlds
Had 75% or higher negative reputation with 3 factions.
The opposite of being kind to everyone you meet in the game is to walk into the settlements and kill everyone you see and quite quickly you will gain negative reputation. Be warned with negative reputation eventually a faction will attack you upon entering any of the factions controlled areas so it might be best to create a manual save before you start to annoy everyone. To check your faction reputation pause your game and choose the reputation tab from the character sub menu. Once you have negative rep with 3 different factions, your Trophy will unlock.

Flawed Hero
Acquired 3 flaws.
Every enemy can harm you and you can receive damage from weapon types and even the game environment. If you constantly receive one type of damage the game will prompt you to take a flaw from that particular damage type, the easiest flaws to obtain are:
- Acrophobia:
Damage received from falling. - Drug Addiction:
Take too many drugs in a short space of time. - Paranoid:
Get caught by guards in restricted areas. - Permanently Crippled:
Take too much damage to your legs. - Plasma Weakness:
Receive too much damage from plasma weapons.
With 3 active flaws your Trophy will unlock.

Not the Best Choice
Simultaneously equipped Spacer’s Choice brand clothing, headgear, and 4 weapons.
Spacers choice is the go to brand for all you weapon and clothing needs, when you start the game your in Emerald Vale you can find most of the weapons you need from here are spacers choice. When you first arrive at the planet Monarch you will find spacers choice in the vending machine, make sure you have spacers brand clothing, head gear and 4 weapons in the 4 weapon slots to unlock this Trophy.

Well Dressed
Wore ‘A Nice Hat’ and ‘Chimaera’ at the same time.
To get this trophy you need to get a hold of 2 items which are described as ‘a nice hat’ and the ‘chimaera’. The ‘a nice hat’ has a fixed location of the Monarch Wilderness your best starting point is the Stellar Bay ruins (south) fast travel where you want to go across the bridge after exiting the stellar bay ruins then turn right and head forward keeping an eye out on the left for a building with a dome top. This is your destination which once inside proceed forward until you see the skeleton in a little recess that is wearing the ‘a nice hat’ so simply pick up the hat and your first part has been acquired.
To obtain the chimaera you need to compete the side quest “Makes space suits, won’t travel” this is potentially missable if you become hostile towards the Halcyon Holdings Corporate Board as a member of this faction is the side quest giver and if hostile you wont ever get the option to receive this side quest so it pays to be polite to all factions. Also, The Outer Worlds does not feature a new game+ option so this is potentially missable if you proceed past the point of no return screen but as this is clearly prompted on screen you should not have any problems in backtracking to complete this. With both parts in your inventory pause the game and equip them both to unlock your Trophy.

Level 30
Character level 30 reached.
Level 30 is the maximum character level you can reach and like most RPG’s you gain experience for anything and everything in the game so I suggest you complete as many side quests as you possibly can, also actively engaging in fights with enemies helps. The Outer Worlds does have a new game+ option so you can reach a point of no return but this is clearly pointed out to you many times so if you’re not a level 30 by this point simply continue to level up until you reach level 30, unlocking your Trophy.

Anything for a Friend
Finished a companion’s quest line.
With any of the game’s companions by your side every so often they will ask to talk to you so accept the offer to start a companion quest line. These are basically additional side quests that you must completed, so simply complete these side quests to unlock your Trophy.

Elemental Maelstrom
Killed an enemy that was hit with all 5 damage types.
The outer worlds has 5 different damage types which are:
- Physical.
- N Ray.
- Shock.
- Plasma.
- Corrosive.
All damage types can be added to any weapon you hold via a workbench but a quicker way is to obtain the Prismatic Hammer. To do this you need a science skill of 80 and have to complete the side quest Weapons from the Void, available from the captains quarters on the unreliable after completing the main quest A stranger in a strange land. With that done your next step is to travel to the Groundbreaker and speak to Gladys who will sell you a Battered Mardet Datapad which will guide you to a hidden area on the west side of the Groundbreaker. With the Prismatic Hammer in your inventory go and find an enemy with decent health with each strike the Prismatic Hammer will alter its damage type on the enemy, when all 5 types of damage have been dealt and the enemy has died your Trophy will unlock.

Patient N
Killed 20 enemies that were infected by spreading N-rays.
N Ray is one of the 5 damage types in the game, it can be applied as a mod to any weapon you possess at a workbench, with the N Ray damage type on a weapon head to the C & P Factory on Monarch. Save your game before entering and then kill all the pigs inside, with that done reload your manual save until you have the 20 kills, unlocking your Trophy.

Skilled
Raised a skill to 100.
To start off with you level up an entire skill group but once individual skills hit 50 you can only level them up individually, play your game however you wish levelling up whatever you choose to then once you hit level 30. Head to the unreliable and proceed to the upper catwalk near the crew cabins, here you can re-spec your character and put all your skill points into one skill and easily unlock your Trophy.

Jack of All Trades
Killed an enemy with a science weapon sneak attack during TTD, with a weakspot critical hit.
See Element Maelstrom for more information on obtaining the Prismatic Hammer, then head to one of the starting worlds to find low level enemies. Now sneak up on the enemy and enter TTD then with a swift blow to the head it will kill the enemy and unlock your Trophy.

Well Balanced Breakfast
Simultaneously had bonuses for meat, carbohydrates, sugary drink, caffeine, and alcohol.
This can be done from nearly the games starting point in Edgewater, by searching the area you can pick up the following items:
- Fruit (Carbohydrates).
- De-Hydrated Water (Sugary Drink).
- Cider (Alcohol).
- Saltuna Fillets (Meat).
- Trip-teaz (Caffeine).
With all these items in your inventory pause your game and consume them all to unlock your Trophy.

Mad Scientist
Killed an enemy under the effects of 4 science weapons.
Science weapons each have a special ability that causes the enemy to suffer an effect each time you use it. To obtain science weapons you need to board the unreliable for the first time to obtain the side quest for the science weapons, here is the list of science weapons:
- Shrink Ray:
Found at Phineas Lab with the ability to shrink the enemy. - Prismatic Hammer:
Secret area of Groundbreaker and causes a random damage type. - Mandibular Rearranger:
Scylla near the abandoned mining outpost, can stagger and freeze the enemy. - Gloop Gun:
UDL Lab on Monarch and levitates the enemy. - Mind Control Ray:
Abandoned Lab on Monarch, causes enemy to turn on each other.
The best strategy is to find a tougher enemy that can take several hits, make sure one of your science weapons is been handled by your companion then attack the enemy making sure you swap weapons after using each one, if successful your Trophy will unlock after the kill.

Impossible Mission
Succeeded at 3 dialog conversation checks with a single disguise.
Disguises can help you negotiate tougher areas of the game without having to engage the enemy, to be successful you will need a speech skill of at least 60, wearing your disguise approach any enemy secure area and start a conversation. During the conversation you will be given the options to Lie, Persuade or Intimidate, choose to lie and if successful you can repeat this process two more times to unlock your Trophy.

All for One
Completed all companion quests.
The game features a total of 6 companions who will join your side and do as you command them to, along with this a companion has there own quest line which at some point they will ask to speak to you so accept their request to speak to receive the quest, here is a list of the companions in the game:
- Parvati: Edgewater main quest so nearly impossible to miss.
- Vicar Max: Edgewater Church.
- Ellie: Groundbreaker Medical Bay.
- Felix: Outside the unreliable once you dock on the ground breaker for the first time.
- Nyoka: Main quest in the Yacht Club on Monarch.
- SAM: Inside the unreliable.
With all 6 companions quests completed your Trophy will unlock.
