Bleeding Edge is a game where you can choose from 3 different classes be it a Damage dealer, Support where you can heal your teammates or a Tank which is useful for absorbing damage whilst your teammates stand behind you. The matches take place across a series of different events where you either need to eliminate the opposing team, capture and return Power Cells or capture objective points.
You can also, once you have racked up some credits buy new boards to help you get around quicker or new Mods to improve or change out your skillset which helps you find the right combination for your preferred playstyle.
50 G
Certified
Play all the Tutorials
On the screen during the tutorials which are accessible right at the start of the game it will say you have 4 tutorial lessons, however, you only need to complete the first 3 of them. Once you have delivered the Power Cells in the third tutorial you will unlock Certified.
30 G
Gnarly!
Equip a new board
After you have finished the tutorial and have played a few matches you will have enough cash to buy a new board which can be done by going: Main Menu> Workshop> Any Character (as long as they can equip Boards)> Boards then purchase the cheapest available board which will be the Surfboard for $250 which then unlocks Gnarly! once equipped. Alternatively, complete the Welcome to the Jungle introductory quests to be awarded the, The Knife Board which also counts as a new board as long as it’s equipped.
70 G
Custom Fittings
Make a new Mod build for any Fighter
Mod Builds can be found, purchased and equipped by going: Main Menu> Workshop> Any Character> Mods then either choose a mod category from the drop down menu or keep it filtered to all Mods then purchase any available Mod all of which cost $250 you can then equip the Mods in the bottom right of the screen which one done and saved unlocks Custom Fittings.
30 G
A Winner Is You
Win a match
Choose Fight from the Main Menu then go through the match and take the win with the win requiring you to finish in first place for the given objective so keep at it improving your skill until you take the win which may happen in your first match if you’re skilled enough or after 50 matches but hopefully somewhere in between. With the win secured you will unlock A Winner Is You.
100 G
Dime In The Pocket
Play 10 online matches
Select Fight from the main menu then go through 10 complete matches ensuring you don’t lose connection. At the conclusion of the 10th match whether you win lose or draw you will unlock Dime In The Pocket. I have tested this on another account and the achievement unlocked at the start of the 10th match so either way, load up and complete 10 matches until your achievement unlocks.
120 G
Fiddy
Get 50 Killing Blows
Killing Blows are best performed with a Damage specific character such as Daemon, Nidhoggr or Gizmo and requires you to defeat another player. Simply damaging them isn’t enough, it needs to be you who gets the kill. Do this 50 times to unlock Fiddy.
200 G
Hurt Locker
Deal 200,000 damage
You earn damage for any offensive attack that lands on an opponent so keep loading matches until you hit the 200,000 damage target required to unlock Hurt Locker.
200 G
First Aid
Heal 200,000 HP
Healing will of course require a Healer such as Mijo, Kulev or Zero Cool with the latter being one of the better healers. You will earn a lot more healing points if you heal teammates who are close to death as your healing points stop contributing to the total once a teammate is fully healed. This will also take a long time as 200k is a lot of health to heal so keep at it consistently choosing Healers until you reach 200k healed which will then unlock First Aid.
100 G
Battery-Powered
Hand in 100 cells
During certain game modes you will be required to find and return Power Cells which are either looted from around the arena or acquired by putting down opponents who are carrying them. You then need to return the Power Cells to the objective successfully and doing this will take you across several matches at least then once you have handed in 100 cells you will unlock Battery-Powered.
100 G
Territorial
Capture 50 objectives
Capturing objectives requires you to stand in the centre of the marked area then surviving long enough to capture the objective which depending on the skill level of your opponents and the usefulness of your teammates could be simple or you could really struggle here. Keep at it then once you have eventually captured 50 objectives you will unlock Territorial.
That’s the Bleeding Edge achievement guide complete, I hope it helped you through the game.
