Here is the Borderlands 4 boss hub which will help you find and take down every story, optional World and Primordial Vault boss you can find on Kairos throughout the 4 main regions in the game. Bosses can be found in main missions, side missions, faction missions, randomly on the World map or at the back of Bunkers, Drill Sites and pretty much anywhere else. You will usually know when a boss is coming up as you will get a checkpoint, 1 or 2 vending machines and usually an open area to fight them in. Some bosses are seriously challenging even on Easy so come back later in the game for those ones and keep upgrading your gear as you go. Refer to the Legendary Gear if you are struggling to find any decent weapons, shields or enhancements then get back to the arena and put the bosses down. Given the high amount of bosses in Borderlands 4 I will break them down into their own posts which will be:
Story Bosses
Story bosses are the bosses you will fight as you make your way through the main game, they are tough, plentiful, have a good amount of attacks and resources at their disposal and are overall a fairly rough time of things even on easy. Farm some better guns and equipment if you’re struggling and refer to the Legendary Gear I have managed to find so far which will help you power up. Refer to the Borderlands 4 Story bosses to see how to take them all down.
Side Mission Bosses
There are a lot of Side missions to complete throughout Kairos, some are faction missions more in depth than some of the main story missions whereas others are short fetch quests, nice short and easy to complete. Several side missions have bosses in them you will need to bring down usually to conclude a side mission or to get close to the end of them. Refer to the Borderlands 4 side mission bosses to see how to take them all down.
World Bosses
World Bosses are bosses who appear at random throughout Kairos. You will know it’s a World Boss as a large white bubble will appear then once you enter it the boss will spawn. You only have 2-3 minutes to defeat the boss which sounds like a long time but these guys can have an incredible amount of health so if you don’t bring the World boss down in time they will simple fade away and you won’t be rewarded. If you do manage to bring a World Boss down you can then go into your Inventory and open a reward chest which has a chance of dropping a Legendary so they’re well worth spending the time going after as they appear. Due to the random nature the World Bosses spawn I won’t list their locations as you might well fight Poison Ivan where I fought Icebox. Refer to the Borderlands 4 World bosses to see all of the bosses scattered throughout Kairos.
Vault Bosses
Here we will go over all of the Borderlands 4 Vault bosses which are considered one of the tougher set of bosses in Kairos and are tucked away in the 3 Vaults in each of the Borderlands and before you can access these Vaults you will firstly need to take over 3 Silos which then give you an indication on your map where the 3 Vault Key Fragments are that in turn form the Vault Key. Upon entering a Vault you will have a lot of enemies to take down before you get to the arena where the Vault boss will be waiting for you. Refer to the Borderlands 4 Vault Bosses to see how to access the Vaults then get a look at what you’ll be up against.
Ripper Drill Site Bosses
Ripper Drill Sites are areas in the game full of Ripper enemies which then hold a boss once you have taken down enough Rippers. There are 6 Drill Sites throughout Kairos, 2 in each of the Borderlands and the bosses you will face off against are some of the toughest in the game as you could be in a 2 or even a 3 on one fight so bringing heavy hitting AOE weaponry will help a great deal here as will precision for targeting flying bosses. Refer to the Borderlands 4 Ripper Drill Site bosses for each of the Drill Sites’ locations as well as a look at what you’ll be up against.
Bunker Bosses
Order Bunkers are underground complexes shielded by organic doors which are destroyed by throwing canisters at them, you can then access the Bunker at the end of which will be a boss who needs to taking down for the Bunker to be considered cleansed and claimed. Refer to the Borderlands 4 Bunker Bosses for each of the Bunker locations as well as a look at what you’ll be up against.
Auger Mine Bosses
Auger Mines will be unlocked in Terminus Range after you have met Calder which then gives you access to the various Mines scattered throughout the Borderlands and there is 1 more Auger Mine in Dominion City. The Auger Mines will have plenty of enemies in them for you to take down as you navigate through the Mine where a boss will be waiting at the end for you to defeat then farm for loot. Refer to the Borderlands 4 Auger Mine bosses for each of the Auger Mines’ locations as well as a look at what you’ll be up against.
That’s all of the Borderlands 4 bosses. Which were your favourite to take down?.
