Here is the Borderlands 4 Pale Blueberry Dot trophy guide which will help you complete all Outbounder missions of which there are 3 found throughout Kairos and some of these missions can be fairly challenging to complete if you go in early game so it might be an idea to leave these for the mid – end game but as the rewards can be plentiful it’s up to you. The Outbounder missions will unlock in a certain order which helps keep the flow of their storyline going. The Outbounder Faction missions and a brief synopsis of what to expect as well as a video showing you the quests are as follows:
Outbounder Missions
Null And Void
Location: The Fadefields, The Howl.
Rewards: 6,675 xp, $2,500, 8 Eridium, Industrialized Boory SMG, Out of Bounds vault hunter customisation.
The Null and Void side mission is one of the Faction missions for the Outbounders and will task you with finding Conway who has dropped off comms so head over to the marker then after clearing the Rippers go to the right side of the complex and look for her in her small camp. When it’s decided she isn’t here, grab the Echo device in the open crate and go off to the next marker, clear the Rippers and grab the next Echo next to the lookout spot.
Head over to the entrance of their base where you will be told to go and retrieve the Rippers’ lunch, take care of the beasts then collect the 10 food items which you then need to take back to the gate. Once inside the base clear the field of enemies then speak to Conway who will be in a cage, she will then get picked up and placed over the void which then spawns in Erecter Ed who you need to kill. Get up to the crane controls which will then break upon use. After the dialogue activate both the Starboard and Port engines then initiate the launch to send the engines up to their death which shuts down the black hole generator causing the cavalry to arrive just in time for them to be of no help at all. Speak to Conway and Rush to conclude the mission.
All Charged Up
Location: The Fadefields, Idolator’s Noose.
Rewards: x6,675 xp, $2,500, 8 Eridium, Reinforced Jimmy Cap Shield, Out of Bounds Echo-4 paintjob.
The All Charged Up mission will become available once you have completed the Null and Void mission for the Outbounders and is a fairly tough one with lots of Badasses and a boss at the end so go in well geared before beginning it then once you’re ready speak to Rhodes and shoot the Implosion Drive’s lock. Head over to the Hydroplant then clear the base as you go through to the reservoir which you then need to drain allowing you to enter the chamber and charge the Drive.
After clearing the enemies follow the Drive down into the cavern where you will be ambushed by the Sludgemaw boss, a powerful Thresher who will ambush you from below so keep on the move to avoid the attacks then get a few of your own in before Sludgemaw goes back underground. Once the boss is dead tether yourself up to Rhodes to conclude the mission.
Bound For Launch
Location: The Fadefields, The Howl.
Rewards: 31,887 XP, $3,000, 10 Eridium, Shotgun, Down and Outlaw Vault Hunter Head.
Speak to Rush who will ask you to fetch the tools and speak to Conway so do that then clear out the ambushes as you return the tools. You then need to continually clear Rippers whilst helping Conway get to the ship. Take out the Meathead Launchers and destroy any remaining Rippers before initiating the launch. Once the ship leaves the atmosphere, speak to Rush to conclude this side mission.
