Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon directory.
Here are all of the Armored Core 6 Chapter 3 bosses of which there are 19 found throughout the third chapter of the game. These bosses are main story bosses with the other other optional bosses needing be taken down either for progression, Combat Logs or just because you can. Bosses are much tougher than regular enemies regardless of their type and you will need to vary your build depending on your opponents abilities. Agility is usually a good option to favour in Armored Core 6 as, especially in the early game you won’t survive long if you try tanking hits, especially from the main story bosses as they can shred your health in seconds if you give them the chance. If they can’t take touch you, however, they can’t hurt you.

The Fires Of Raven Ending
Attack The Refueling Base Bosses
Bosses: AAS03: Ekdromi EP / PCA SP 2nd Lieutenant & AAS03: Ekdromi PG / PCA SP Chief Sergeant 1st Class.
Once you are at the end of the Attack the Refueling Base mission you will be ambushed by 2 very hard hitting PCA crafts who are AC level difficulty and hit very hard. Agility is a key deciding factor here as you either need enough of it to avoid near on every attack or go full tank build where you will struggle to avoid the hits but you’ll be strong enough to absorbs more than a few of them. Use powerful tracking weaponry like the Homing Launcher or Laser Cannons as well as something like the Plasma Rifle combined with a strong, good ranged melee weapon like the Laser Blade. Deal with one of the PCA craft first which allows you to focus on the other and don’t be surprised if these guys take you down more than once.
Guidance / V.VII Swinburne
Mission: Eliminate V.VII.
Sneak through the area taking out any MTs who spot you then get to the marker before using the lift to get to Swinburne’s location. You can get a good, charged hit in depending on the weaponry you are using by not getting to close to Swinburne. Avoid the missiles and attacks then when he starts talking, shut him with a few well places shots in the kisser.
Shinobi / Rokumonsen
Mission: Eliminate V.VII.
Replay the Eliminate V.VII mission this time ensuring you stop attacking V.VII when he starts talking and accept this offer to leave the combat zone where he will then depart. Rokumonsen will then spawn in and this guy is tough as nails at this point in the game so air on the side of caution and put him down whilst avoiding those tracking missiles and everything else he throws at you.
Candle Ring / Ring Freddie
Mission: Eliminate the Enforcement Squads mission.
Ring Freddie is an AC who is hiding out by some rocks to the far right of the starting point in the Eliminate the Enforcement Squads mission and the only reason to put him down is to get the Combat Log he holds as you work towards the Chapter 3 Combat Logs. He can be tough so avoid those big guns and ensure you are highly efficient in this fight as you still need to take down 2 LCs, a few groups of MTs and the HC at the end if you want to come away with that Combat Log.
AA22: Heavy Cavalry / PCA Warrant Officer
Mission: Eliminate the Enforcement Squads mission.
The HC is an incredibly hard hitting opponent if you leave yourself open. That lance he uses is next level and can shred a full tank build so ensure you stay away from that at all costs. This entire fights difficulty will be pre-determined by how well you have performed throughout the mission. If you went after Ring Freddie and took a beating from the LCs then you’ll be low on resources which will mean certain death for most. Ensure you focus on being highly efficient throughout the mission saving your Repkits for the HC to make things more manageable.
AH-12: HC Helicopter
Mission: Survey the Uninhabited Floating City.
Work your way through the Survey the Uninhabited Floating City mission to the final module which, once deactivated will cause a very powerful version of the HC Helicopter to spawn in along with LC support. This is a rough fight as the Helo will pepper you with rockets and missiles and the LCs will fire laser Sniper Rounds at you with very impressive tracking capabilities. Take out the LCs quickly then unload Hell into the Helicopter until it’s destroyed.
Attack The Old Spaceport Bosses
Bosses: AA22: Heavy Cavalry / PCA Captain & AA18A: Light Cavalry HM / PCA 1st Lieutenant.
Near the end of the Attack the Old Spaceport mission where you will have already dealt with 2 active Warships you will then be set upon by 2 PCA Officers who are challenging to deal with but fortunately you have V.IV Rusty to help and he is more than capable of dealing with them on his own. However, it would be rude if you don’t get involved so try and separate the pair to make things a lot more manageable and destroy them 1 by 1 whilst avoiding those nasty melee attacks. Now all you’ll need to is avoid a 500 metre long Ice Worm to finish the mission.
Milk Tooth / "Honest" Brute
Mission: Eliminate “Honest” Brute.
Honest Brute is a pain to deal with as that Flamethrower of his will melt your AC. It builds up stagger then leaves you open for a beating it will be tough to survive. Use your target lock to get a fix on his position through the flames then unleash everything you have as soon as you get an opening. Unlike your AC, Brute never seems to run out of ammunition so put him down as quickly as you can as if you try playing the long game in this fight it seldom goes well.
Nightfall / Raven
Mission: Defend the Old Spaceport.
Despite what the briefing tells you at the start of the mission you will only have 1 opponent who has just completely trashed the Spaceport before you got there and that AC is none other than the holder of your original callsign: Raven. This guy is incredibly hard hitting, seems to have every upgrade imaginable and the power to match his speed. Avoid the double missiles and that Boost Kick which you will more than likely get hit with every time you’re staggered. Full tank build, Gatling Guns, Songbirds and melee weapons are advisable here. Just do anything and everything you can to put Raven down 621!.
IA-02: Ice Worm
Mission: Destroy the Ice Worm.
The Ice Worm is the 2nd main Coral weapon you will fight in the game and it can be a pain to deal with and impossible if you haven’t brought the Stun Needle with you so ensure you have it equipped on your back as well as some heavy weaponry. Keep yourself agile and shoot the face of the Ice Worm to remove the shield where Rusty will then fire the Railgun. There is no danger of the Railgun missing so just wait for the shot then unload everything aiming for maximum damage until the Worm goes mobile again. Repat this process then on the third time you will have a lot of Coral discharge and missiles to avoid so do so whilst landing 2 Stun Needle shots to its face this time. Rusty will then overload the cannon and rip the shield off allowing you to finish the Worm once and for all.
Liberator Of Rubicon Ending
Prevent The Corporate Salvage Of New Tech Bosses
Bosses: AA1B: Light Cavalry / PCA Chief Sergeant First Class, AA18: Light Cavalry / PCA Chief Sergeant 2nd Class & AA22: Heavy Cavalry / PCA 2nd Lieutenant.
This mission is tough but it is made easier based on your choices for example you can go after the HC first which aggros both LCs giving you a 3 on 1 plus the other enemies in the area on top to deal with. This isn’t recommended so instead go after the 2 LCs first, taking them out won’t give you that many problems now you’re on playthrough 2 then by the time the HC charges up for combat you should be on your way down there to get a few sucker punches in leaving you not much left to finish off. Just remember to avoid those melee attacks from the HC!.
AAS02: Cataphract / PCA SP Captain.
Mission: Destroy the Special Forces Craft.
the Special Forces Craft you need to destroy is none other than the fastest tank I have ever seen in or out of a video game and it has a serious advantage when it comes to defence, its only weakness is its face. Hit anywhere else on the Cataphract and you may as well be aiming at the ground. Get that face, however, in between the tracks and you will deal severe damage time and time again just be sure to avoid all the weapon attacks that come your way as there’s plenty of them.
Defend The Dam Complex Bosses
Bosses: Aster Crown / King, Umber Ox / Chartreuse & Nightfall / Raven.
The Defend the Dam Complex mission is arguable the toughest mission you will have come across to date. You need to take down King and Chartreuse, 2 very hard hitting ACs and then once you have destroyed the duo you will then have to face off against a very upgraded Raven whilst nursing your wounds from the previous battle. Do your best and change up the weaponry you use if you’re getting shredded.
Alea Lacta Est Ending
ASTGHIK / Thumb Dolmayan
Mission: Survey the Uninhabited Floating City.
On your third playthrough you will have a different version of the Survey the Uninhabited Floating City mission where, rather than the Helicopter which usually comes in to attack that will instead be blown up and replaced by Thumb Dolmayan. This AC is a Rubicon model that can burn you out of the competition so use the area to your advantage hiding behind the building then popping out over the fire to get some attacks in. Melee as always is a safe bet to help put Dolmayan down but either way considering what you have put down to get to this point, you know what to do. Win!.
