Bubbling Under sees you adorning a Penguin backpack which allows you to speed through the waters jumping over the gates until you get to the open area where you will need to chase down UFO’s, dive to depths, be eaten by a sea monster and free the Starfish along the way as you collect all 7 Bots.
Bots are freed by hitting them so don’t be worried about hurting a Bot, give them a gentle slap or a charged punch, whichever you prefer in order to collect each one.
As with the rest of the main stages throughout Astro Bot there are several unnamed and a handful of named Bots for you to locate with them being acquirable in the following locations:
Bot 1
Upon entering the large open area look just over to your left to see a forcefield you can enter, take out the enemies and smash the first Starfish shackle.
Go back through the forcefield to the water and look down to see a series of small blue and white volcanoes, look to the volcano closest to the cliff edge to find the Bot.
Bot 2
Go over to the right of the area to find a large cylindrical structure as well as several spiked balls. Go behind the structure to find an alcove with some powerful water blasting through.
Look to the back wall to find the Bot clinging on for dear life. Use your Penguin backpack to charge through the rapid water allowing you to free the Bot.
Bot 3
Once you’re in the open area, go over to the right pass the spiked balls to find a small platform, jump up to find the Bot who will be taken by a UFO.
Dive under water and look up through the surface to see where the UFO is and charge up smashing through the surface hitting the Bot as you go to rescue it which may take many attempts as the UFO is fast.
Alternatively you can stand on the edge of the cylindrical structure and jump off to hit the Bot.
Bot 4, Cat-Like Companion
Go down into the depths and over to the right to see a large green mouth sticking through the wall. Approach the mouth which will open, swallowing you through to a secret stage.
Go tot he end of the passage avoiding the balls as you go where you can then rescue the Cat-Like Companion Bot.
Bot 5
Head down to the left section where the area will darken. Go into the shipwreck taking out the enemies as you go and smash the Starfish shackle.
Leave through the port side of the ship smashing through the hull then look straight to see the Bot trapped in a treasure chest who needs rescuing.
Bot 6
On the left side of the area you will find a platform you can jump up on to and use 2 rope swings to get up to the Pig you swing to smash the shackle.
Look over to your right to find a Bot being attacked by a headbutting enemy. You know what to do by now. Defeat and rescue.
Bot 7, Secret Octopus
Go to the back of the area where the Starfish is shackled or freed depending on how far through the stage you are. Look at the sea bed to find a kelp patch where the Secret Octopus bot is caught up amongst some fish.
Swim down and rescue the Secret Octopus Bot.
