Location: The New West, Bitter Lake, North Shore of the Bitter Lake.
Rewards: x1,847 XP, x1,184 Will, x2 Cold Iron Leaves.
Cross the back of the Turtle which you will do as part of the story in The New West then once you’re on the shore, go forward and rest at the North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine. Equip your best gear if you hadn’t done so already then go East following the shore line to the Turtle graveyard. Cross the graveyard where the Apramana Bat will ambush you.

The fight against the Bat is one of the more frustrating fights in the game due to the fact the boss is rarely on the ground, you will need to contend with so heavy hitting drop attacks which given the closeness of the camera are difficult to avoid and they can also freeze you in place as can near enough every other one of them.

Every so often the Apramana Bat can harden like a rock where any of your attacks can be deflected which again can be a pain as there’s no real way of knowing, you can do a jumping heavy then waste 2 or even 3 focus points as your attack just bounces off. Thrust stance is a good way to reach the Bat although given its speed you will need to be efficient with your attacks otherwise they can still easily miss.

Immobilize will work well here as will Cloud Step combine those abilities with the Red Tides transformation to inflict some decent burn damage and you will stand a better chance of coming away with the win.
