Here is the Black Myth Wukong Black Loong boss guide which will help you find and take down a powerful duel mace wielding electric based Dragon who is residing in the depths of Yellow Wind Ridge in a secret cave.

Location: Yellow Wind Ridge, Fright Cliff, Rockrest Flat.

The Black Loong is one of 4 Loong bosses found throughout Black Myth Wukong and before you can access the boss arena you will firstly need to acquire the Loong Scales which can be looted from a chest once the First Prince of Flowing Sands boss has been defeated. With the Loong Scales acquired go to the Yellow Wind Ridge, Fright Cliff, Rockrest Flat Shrine then take a right and go up towards the sand-fall taking care as if its your first time up here you will have to deal with the powerful Spearbone Spirit first. Once defeated go back and rest then interact with the sand-fall.

This will bring you to a secret open area where the Black Loong will be waiting for you and he is a tough opponent and one you might not be able to take down yet so if you are unable to take the win, work through the game some more then come back where you will have an easier time of it. Hopefully.

Black Loong is an electrical enemy and one who can cause a lot of damage in a very short amount of time with normal attacks then obliterate you with electrical explosions that usually occur as either combos where he bangs his maces together or a single charged up nova. All of which are tough to dodge so you should be out of the blast radius.

One particularly nasty but easily avoidable attack is where the Loong will slam his maces into the ground creating electrical shockwaves which are very hard to avoid unless you stand on one of the rocks around the outskirts of the arena. Just stand there until the Loong has slammed the ground then created the final nova. You can then get in there and punish as he recovers.

Avoid as much of the physical onslaught as you can and as there is only 1 phase to this boss ensure you don’t hold back on Spells and Abilities. Either the Wandering Wight or Second Rat Prince are good Spirit choices as they stagger the Loong for a second allowing you to either heal or get a jumping heavy attack in.

However you look at this fight, it is tough and I wouldn’t be surprised if you failed several times before taking the win but when you do just ensure you loot the chest which forms for the Black Loong’s corpse as you need the items if you are going for the Platinum.
