Captain Kalpa-Wave is a boss who you need to defeat as part of the main story and one who I recommend you run to from the Longevity Road shrine passing the enemies as you go as some of them can be tough meaning you may well be low on resources making the boss fight potentially troublesome, going in at full strength though will give you a large advantage.
Kalpa-Wave will come at you with stomps which are easily dodged as long as you don’t get to aggressive as well as jumping attacks which are more difficult to avoid especially when the stamps cause blood to pour out which can hurt you a fair amount. Some of the blood, when it lands will turn into crystals which explode causing damage and kicking you back so avoid them as best as you can.
You will also need to deal with a good amount of homing blood missiles which can quickly stack up damage but the main issue with the Captain is she is just to weak to cause many issues. Considering you have taken down bosses like the Whiteclad Noble, Tiger Vanguard (King), Yellow Wind Sage and Non-White to get to this point, Kalpa-Wave is just a bit limp as bosses go so keep the pressure on with thrust stance being particularly effective given the additional range the attacks offer then keep the beatdown going until you manage to take the win.
