Preservation Orb Curios
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of Yellow Flowers, Court of Illumination.
With the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master boss defeated you will be able to begin chapter 5, Flaming Mountains. Deal with the ambush then fast travel back to the Court of Illumination shrine in The Webbed Ridge using the Ashen Pass I shrine. Go back to the cavern where you fought the Venom Daoist (second encounter) boss then go through to the open area. Look behind the tree to see a stature which has appeared in front of which will be a chest holding the Preservation Orb Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Yellow Loong
The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Relief of Fallen Loong.
If you didn’t manage to take down the Yellow Loong boss in chapter 4 then try and take him down in Chapter 5 where you will be a lot more powerful. Counts towards The Sire and Sons.
Sea-Supporting Tendon
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Relief of Fallen Loong.
You will receive the Sea-Supporting Tendon once you have defeated the Yellow Loong boss. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.

Requirements: Purchase from Xu Dogy.

Fast travel to the Zodiac Village then speak with Xu Dog who will have the Loong Aura Amplification Pellets Formula available for purchase for 3,000 Will. Counts towards Page Preserver.
Pale-Axe Stalwart
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Ashen Pass I.
Rewards: Nothing.
The Pale-Axe Stalwart is a mandatory boss you will need to take down in the Camp of Seasons and can be a challenge as you have a good amount of other enemies attacking both you and the Stalwart as well as the Brown-Iron Cart boss raining fire from above. Defeat every enemy in the local area.
Brown-Iron Cart
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Ashen Pass I.
Rewards: x1,778 Will, x1,780 Will, x1 Refined Iron Sand.
The Brown-Iron Cart is a mandatory boss you need to defeat in the Camp of Seasons and can be accessed by following the stairs up along the main path. Equip the Fireproof Mantle Vessel to negate the majority of damage the Cart can inflict then destroy it to clear the path.
Speak With Pale-Axe Stalwart
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Ashen Pass I.
With the Brown-Iron Cart boss defeated, go back down to the Pale-Axe Stalwart and speak with him exhausting all dialogue options. We will meet up with the Bull again later in the Flaming Mountains.
Meditation Spot
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Camp of Seasons.
Follow the linear path through the tunnels and out to the open area where you can take down the Bull Governor enemy. Rather than go forward following the usual path, go right up the stairs to the top where you can find the Meditation Spot on the wooden platform. Counts towards Scenic Seeker.
Mount Lingtai Seedlings Soak
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Camp of Seasons.
Head pass the Bull Governor then up the stairs from the Camp of Seasons shrine. Defeat the Charface and another enemies in the local area which allows you to loot the Mount Lingtai Seedling Soak from the chest. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Father Of Stones
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Height of Ember.
Rewards: x1,778 XP, 1,752 Will, x1 Refined Iron Sand, Knot of Voidness, Father of Stones Spirit.
The Father of Stones boss is a mandatory one you need to put down and it won’t pose much of a challenge with roars, slams, swipes and not much else. Defeat this small bump in the road to open the way through the Flaming Mountains.
Father Of Stones Spirit
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Height of Ember.
Once the Father of Stones boss has been defeated you can then collect the Father of Stones Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Skull Of Turtle Treasure Headgear Armor
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Height of Ember.
Continue down the path after defeating the Father of Stones boss then stay right where you will come to a Turtle Treasure enemy. Defeat it over and over again until you receive the Skull of Turtle Treasure Headgear Armour. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 2
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Height of Ember.
With the Father of Stone boss defeated, go left as you face the gate that is no open and go left, down the stairs then follow the back path down to the lower level defeating the enemies as you go. At the bottom of the path will be a tree surrounded by immolating enemies so defeat them all which then allows you to collect the 2nd Luojia Fragrant Vine from the tree.
Amber Prayer Beads Curios
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Height of Ember.
Once the Father of Stones boss has been defeated, go through the gate then once in the dark caverns go right taking care not to get ambushed by the exploding enemies then stay right to come to a small outside area which has a chest inside of which will be the Amber Prayer Beads Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Charface Spirit
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Height of Ember.
Enter the dark caverns then follow the main path where you will come across several self-immolating enemies as well as 1 Charface who you can defeat ensuring you absorb its Spirit once it’s down. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Gray-Bronze Cart
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Height of Ember.
Rewards: x1,778 XP, x1,762 Will, x2 Silk, x1 Cold Iron Leaves.
The Gray-Bronze Cart boss will be blocking your way to a tough boss duo and can be a pain given the long run up you need to take that it can fill with fire. There are several cut-outs either side but if you get overly greedy you can easily get sent back to the shrine. Equip the Fireproof Mantle Vessel to negate the fire damage.
Quick As Fire, Fast As Wind
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Height of Ember.
Rewards: x5,494, x4,456 Will, x1 Refined Iron Sand, Gold Tree Core.
The Quick as Fire, Fast as Wind bosses are a pair of heads that will be a lot easier if you use the Thrust Stance as one of the heads will roll along the floor and has a large weak spot where the neck cavity is, the other one can be a pain as it will fly around above you hence the Thrust Stance for that extra range.
Celestial Jade Lotus Pill
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Ashen Pass II.
With the Quick as Fire, Fast as Wind boss defeated, rest at the Ashen Pass II shrine then look at the area opposite the shrine to find a chest which holds the Celestial Jade Lotus Pill. Counts towards Medicine Meal.
Fire Date Seed
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Valley Entrance.
You will find Fire Date plants throughout the Valley Entrance region and given the fact they grow in and around lava it would be a good idea to have the Fireproof Mantle Vessel equipped so you can negate the fire damage. A good place I found to secure Fire Dates is the same place where you can fight the optional Flint Chief boss to the left of the first Earth Rakshasa enemy. Counts towards Seeds to Sow.
Turtle Treasure Spirit
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Valley Entrance.
Ensure you have either the Fireproof Mantle Vessel and or the Xiang River Goddess Gourd equipped as the Turtle Treasure who has the Spirit is out on the lava and it’s a dangerous walk without these 2 items. Go along the rock from the Valley Entrance shrine then take a right where the first Earth Rakshasa enemy is. Stay against the right wall as you come back towards the shrine to find the Turtle Treasure standing at the edge of the abyss. Defeat it then absorb the Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Flint Chief Boss
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Valley Entrance.
Run forward from the Valley Entrance shrine after ensuring you have either the Fireproof Mantle Vessel or the Xiang River Goddess Gourd equipped as this entire fight takes place on the lava to the left of the first Earth Rakshasa enemy therefore making it a dangerous battle unless you can negate fire damage in which case it’s a fairly simple fight.
Samadhi Fire Crystal
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Valley Entrance.
You will receive the Samadhi Fire Crystal once the Flint Chief boss has been defeated. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Flint Chief Spirit
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Valley Entrance.
Once the optional Flint Chief has been defeated you can then absorb the Flint Chief Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Earth Rakshasa Spirit
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Valley Entrance.
Starting back from the Valley Entrance go forward then pass the second Earth Rakshasa enemy as you go up the hill. Take the next left into the slightly open area and defeat the Flamling who spawns then focus on the Earth Rakshasa whose Spirit you can absorb once it’s been defeated. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Cloudy Mist, Misty Cloud
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Valley Entrance.
The Cloudy Mist and Misty Cloud bosses are a powerful duo with very different move sets you can find at the back of the Valley Entrance region and they can smack you around with ease. One will come at you with Magic whereas the other will come at you with hard hits with a flaming log. Split them up and put them both down.
Cloudy Mist, Misty Cloud Spirit
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Valley Entrance.
With the Cloudy Mist, Misty Cloud boss defeated you can then absorb the Cloudy Mist, Misty Cloud Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Celestial Taiyi Pill
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Rakshasa Palace.
Rest at the Rakshasa Palace shrine which is accessible once the Cloudy Mist, Misty Cloud boss has been defeated then go to the area behind the shrine to find a table which holds a chest containing the Celestial Taiyi Pill. Counts towards Medicine Meal.
White Seashell Waist Chain Curios
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Rakshasa Palace.
As you progress through Rakshasa Palace you will come up against several Bull Soldier enemies who will be on land as well as on the lava. Continue to defeat the Bull Soldiers until one of them drops the White Seashell Waist Chain Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Speak With Yuan Soucheng
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Rakshasa Palace.
Follow the main path around to the left from the Rakshasa Palace shrine then go left into the small room where Yuan Soucheng can be found. Speak with him ensuring you exhaust all dialogue. Counts towards Always Accompanied.
Awakening Wine Worm 2
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Rakshasa Palace.
In the same room where you spoke with Yuan Soucheng will be an urn with a golden glow that contains the Awakening Wine Worm.
Supreme Gourd
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Rakshasa Palace.
Providing you have been following along with the Brewer’s Bounty trophy guide you will have a fully upgraded Gourd which then allows you to interact with the flame in the centre of the room where Yuan Soucheng can be spoken to. Interact with the flame to receive the Supreme Gourd. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Unlock Always Accompanied
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Rakshasa Palace.
As long as you have spoken to Yuan Soucheng in the previous 4 chapters as well as here in the Flaming Mountains you will then unlock Always Accompanied at the same time as receiving the Supreme Gourd.
Gold Button Curios
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Rakshasa Palace.
At the back of the Rakshasa Palace will be 2 giant enemies, Sea Rakshasa. Put them both down which will be a lot easier if you clear out the enemies in the local area first as well as have either the Fireproof Mantle Vessel or the Xiang River Goddess Gourd equipped to negate the fire damage form the lava. With both Seas Rakshasa defeated you will then be awarded the Gold Button Curios. Counts towards A Curios Collection.
Keeper Of Flaming Mountains And Yin Yang Fish
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Emerald Hall.
Rewards: x3,882 XP, x3,096 Will, Celestial Ribbon, x2 Fine Gold Thread, Ying Yang Daoist Robe Chest Armour.
The Keeper of Flaming Mountains boss is a boss who likes to hide away and let the mobs he summons do his dirty work. Dodge through the arrows then put Ma Tianba down when he’s summoned. Conserve as many resources as you can for the Yin Yang Fish which is where the real challenge in this fight is to be found.
Yin-Yang Daoist Robe Chest Armour
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Emerald Hall.
With the Keeper of Flaming Mountains and Yin Yang Fish boss defeated you will receive the Yin-Yang Daoist Robe chest armour after the fight. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Meditation Spot 2
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Emerald Hall.
Rest back at the Emerald Hall shrine after defeating the Keeper of Flaming Mountains and Yin Yang Fish boss then go forward and immediately left where you can follow the path round to the right to find the 2nd Meditation Spot. Counts towards Scenic Seeker.
Slumbering Beetle Husk Soak
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Emerald Hall.
Enter the throne room after defeating the Keeper of Flaming Mountains and Yin Yang Fish boss, go to the left side behind the pillar on the lower level to find a chest which holds the Slumbering Beetle Husk Soak. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Loong Balm Drink
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Emerald Hall.
Once the Keeper of Flaming Mountains and Yin Yang Fish boss have been defeated you can acquire the Loong Balm drink next to the throne at the back of the Emerald Hall. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Crimson-Silver Cart
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Emerald Hall.
Head up the slopes from the Emerald Hall shrine then as you go up the set of stairs in the corridor you will come to an open area where the Crimson-Silver Cart boss will be waiting for you. Defeat it.
Nine-Capped Lingzhi Guai
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Ashen Pass III.
Rewards: x1,778 XP, x1,756 Will, x2 Silk, x1 Cold Iron Leaves, Knot of Voidness, Earth Spirit Cap Headgear Armour, Nine-Capped Lingzhi Seed, Nine-Capped Lingzhi Guai Spirit.
Rest at the Ashen Pass III shrine then go into the area behind the shrine and try to harvest the Nine-Capped Lingzhi mushroom in the centre which spawns the optional Nine-Capped Lingzhi Guai boss who is a challenge if you get complacent due to the high amount of Venom Bane it can inflict on you. Defeat it.
Earth Spirit Cap Headgear Armour
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Ashen Pass III.
You will receive the Earth Spirit Cap headgear armour once the optional Nine-Capped Lingzhi Guai boss has been defeated. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Nine-Capped Lingzhi Seed
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Ashen Pass III.
With the optional Nine-Capped Lingzhi Guai boss defeated you will be awarded the Nine-Capped Lingzhi Seed. Counts towards Seeds to Sow.
Unlock Seeds To Sow
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Ashen Pass III.

With the optional Nine-Capped Lingzhi Guai boss defeated you will then be able to absorb the Nine-Capped Lingzhi Guai Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Meditation Spot 3

Avoid The Ball
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Ashen Pass III.
Part of the story will see you needing you to avoid a dangerous ball that rolls back and forth along a precarious path filled with enemies. Take your time here and work out where the cut outs are you can duck into. Having the Centipede Guai Spirit and Bluebridge Romance Drink equipped can significantly increase your movement speed. You can also use Immobilize on the ball if you need to, however, it will only last for a couple of seconds even when maxed out so move quickly to the end where a cutscene will play and the ball will be removed.
Flame Mediator Soak
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Ashen Pass III.
As you progress through the Field of Fire you will come up against a good number of Scorching Fire which are similar to the Poisestone enemies from Yellow Wind Ridge and Searing-Fire which are enemies made of rock and lava that slam their heads into the ground to spout lava. Keep defeating these enemies until you acquire the Flame Mediator Soak. There are a lot more of these enemies on your way down to the Cooling Slope shrine whilst working towards accessing the secret Bishui Caves area. Counts towards Brewer’s Bounty.
Red Boy
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
After the cutscene where Zhu Bajie knocks the ball from the ledge follow the path to the end then defeat the Red Boy boss. Equip the Fireproof Mantle Vessel to negate most of the damage the lad will inflict.
Lose To The Yaksha King
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
Once the Red Boy boss has been defeated he will transform into the Yaksha King boss who, once defeated will conclude the Flaming Mountains chapter. There are a lot more things to do before you should take the Yaksha King down so lose to the boss. Don’t worry, we’ll come back for him later which some much stronger gear.
Top Takes Bottom, Bottom Takes Top Spirit
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Emerald Hall.
After the ball and Zhu Bajie fel down into the the abyss the ball will get stuck in some rocks and hold the Top Takes Bottom, Bottom Takes Top Spirit. Go back up the hill from the Emerald Hall shrine then look to your left to see the Ball. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Flint Vanguard
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
Return to the Furnace Valley Crater shrine where you defeated the Red Boy boss then lost to the Yaksha King. Turn around from the boss arena, head back down the slope then take a left leading down to a new section now the Plantain Fan has put out the Samadhi Fire Red Boy created. Once you enter the open area you will come to the optional Flint Vanguard boss. Defeat it.
Samadhi Fire Crystal 2
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
Once you have defeated the optional Flint Vanguard boss you will receive the 2nd Samadhi Fire Crystal. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Flint Vanguard Spirit
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
With the optional Flint Vanguard defeated you can then absorb the Flint Vanguard Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 3
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
Head down the slope and take a left from the Furnace Valley Crater shrine then take a left into the now accessible area and defeat the optional Flint Vanguard boss which then allows you to go over to the left of the area, deal with the ambush then loot the 3rd Luojia Fragrant Vine from the tree.
Acquire 4 Flame Ore
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
Before you can go after the optional Mother of Flamlings boss you will firstly need to acquire 4 Flame Ore which you may or may not have depending on how much time you have spent exploring and defeating the Flamling enemies. You can purchase 4 Flame Ore from the Furnace Valley shrine should you need them for 180 Will a piece.
Mother Of Flamlings
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
With the Flame Ore in hand, go down towards the Cooling Slope shrine (back down the hill from the Furnace Valley Crater shrine then take a left). Look to your left when you’re nearly at the bottom to see a section of glowing rock on the floor. Gift the Flame Ore to summon the Mother of Flamlings boss who you then need to defeat.
Samadhi Fire Crystal 3
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
Once the Mother of Flamlings boss has been defeated you will be awarded with the 3rd Samadhi Flaming Crystal. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Mother Of Flamlings Spirit
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
Having defeated the Mother of Flamlings boss you can then absorb the Mother of Flamlings Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Craft Staff Of Blazing Karma
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Cooling Slope.
Requirements: Craft at shrine.
Cost: x3 Samadhi Fire Crystal, x4 Gold Tree Core, x30,000 Will.
Continue down from the area where you fought and defeated both the Flint Vanguard boss and the Mother of Flamlings boss then follow the path to the Cooling Slope shrine where you can then craft the Staff of Blazing Karma having acquired all 3 Samadhi Fire Crystals and providing you have other ingredients required. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Speak With Pale-Axe Stalwart
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Emerald Hall.
Once you’re at the Cooling Slope the next task is to go through and take down the Rusty-Gold Cart which can be done providing you have taken down the 3 Carts, spoken with Ma Tianba in the Valley Entrance shrine and have spoken with the Plae-Axe Stalwart back at the Ashen Pass I region where you first met him then again at the site of the Crimson-Silver Cart fight as well. Ensure you exhaust all dialogue and you will know when you have done it right as when you continue along the path from the Cooling Slope shrine you will get a cutscene where the Gold Cart is chewing on the Stalwart.
Speak With Ma Tianba
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Valley Entrance.
Ensure you have the Fireproof Mantle Vessel and or the Xiang River Goddess Gourd equipped then head forward from the Valley Entrance shrine then go right from the first Earth Rakshasa on to the lava. Follow the path round to the right to solid ground where a large cart will be embedded into the rock. Defeat all of the enemies in the local area then pull on the whip at the front of the Cart. This will unlock both the Dark Thunder Transformation as Ma Tianba will have no passed away as the Urge Unfulfilled trophy.
Dark Thunder Transformation
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Valley Entrance.
Once you have forcefully removed the whip from the front of the deceased Cart you will be receive the Dark Thunder Transformation. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
Unlock Urge Unfulfilled
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Valley Entrance.
Having spoken to Ma Tianba in every chapter then again in the Flaming mountains as he is dying underneath the Cart you will then receive the Dark Thunder Transformation as well as unlock Urge Unfulfilled.
Rusty-Gold Cart
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Cooling Slope.
With the first 3 Carts defeated, Ma Tianba dead and the Pale-Axe Stalwart spoken with you can then enter the open area at the end of the path from the Cooling Slope and take on the optional Rusty-Gold Cart boss. Equip the Fireproof Mantle Vessel to negate the majority of the damage be careful of hitting the Cart from behind as it will punish you.
Flame Orb Curios
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Cooling Slope.
With the Rusty-Gold Cart defeated you will be rewarded with the Flame Orb Curios. Counts towards A Curios Collection.
Speak With Pale-Axe Stalwart Again
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Cooling Slope.
Once the Rusty-Gold Cart boss has been defeated you can then go over to the back right side wall as you entered the arena and speak with the dying Pale-Axe Stalwart. who will then open the way through to the Bishui Caves as he persishes.
Baw-Lang-Lang
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Cooling Slope.
With the Rusty-Gold Cart boss defeated and the Pale-Axe Stalwart dead you can then go through the doorway at the back of the arena. Head down then go immediately over to your left to find the optional Baw-Lang-Lang boss. Equip either the Fireproof Mantle Vessel or the Xiang River Goddess Gourd to negate the majority of the fire attacks then defeat this oversized amphibious fireball. Counts towards A Clamor of Frogs.
Tadpole
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Cooling Slope.
With the Rusty-Gold Cart boss defeated and the Pale-Axe Stalwart dead you can go through the door, down the slope then interact with the large pillar to be taken to the secret Bishui Caves region.
Enter Bishui Caves
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Cooling Slope.
With the Rusty-Gold Cart boss defeated and the Pale-Axe Stalwart dead you can go through the door, down the slope then interact with the large pillar to be taken to the secret Bishui Caves region.
Septenary Heartfire Pill Formula
Location: Flaming Mountains, Bishui Cave, Purge Pit.
The Septenary Heartfire Pill Formula can be found in a chest just before you drop down to the Purge Pit shrine over to the right of the area. If you do fall down you can use a jumping heavy attack to get back up then go straight forward and loot the Formula from the chest. Counts towards Page Preserver.
Meditation Spot 4
Location: Flaming Mountains, Bishui Cave, Purge Pit.
Rest at the Purge Pit shrine then look to your left, follow the path the opposite way to the main path and use the Meditation Spot. Counts towards Scenic Seeker.
Unlock Scenic Seeker
Location: Flaming Mountains, Bishui Cave, Purge Pit.
You will need to have been following along with the Scenic Seeker trophy guide which shows you the locations of all 24 Meditation Spots in the first 5 Chapters of Black Myth Wukong then with the Meditation Spot used in Bishui Cave you will then unlock Scenic Seeker.
Top Takes Bottom, Bottom Takes Top
Location: Flaming Mountains, Bishui Cave, Purge Pit.
Rest at the Purge Pit shrine having entered the Bishui Caves then go follow the path after ensuring you have the Fireproof Mantle Vessel equipped as this boss can attack with a heavy amount of fire damage.
Celestial Nonary Pill
Location: Flaming Mountains, Bishui Caves, Purge Pit.
With the Top Takes Bottom, Bottom Takes Top boss defeated you can then go forward whilst looking left where you will see a cut-out in the rock where you can find a chest that holds the Celestial Nonary Pill. Counts towards Medicine Meal.
Bull Governor Spirit
Location: Flaming Mountains, Bishui Caves, Cave Depths.
Go forward from the Cave Depths shrine then carefully take out all of the Bull Soldier’s taking care to not go to far forward as the Bull Governor can be tough especially if he aggro’s before the Bull Soldier’s are defeated. Once the mobs are down, defeat the Bull Governor then absorb the Bull Governor Spirit. Counts towards Fickle Forms.
The Bull King's Iron Horn
Location: Flaming Mountains, Bishui Caves, Cave Depths.
With the Bull Governor Spirit acquired and the Bull Soldiers defeated, go back the way you came looking to your right to see a gold chest which will hold the Bull King’s Iron Horn. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast
Location: Flaming Mountains, Bishui Caves, Corridor of Fire and Ice.
Rewards: x6,065 XP, x3 The Bull King’s Iron Horn, Celestial Ribbon, Bishui Beast Bit, Fine Gold Thread, Mind Core, Daoist’s Basket of Fire and Water Curios.
Proceed through to the end of the Bishui Caves, rest at the Corridor of Fire and Ice shrine then jump down where the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast boss will burst out of the wall which begins a very challenging fight. Use of your knowledge and skills you have learnt to get this far then put the Golden-Eyed Beast down to conclude your time in the Bishui Caves.
The Bull King's Iron Horn x3
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire Cooling Slope.
With the optional Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast boss defeated, you will receive the Bull King’s Iron Horn x3. Counts towards Mantled with Might.
Bishui Beast Bit
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire Cooling Slope.
Once the optional Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast boss has been defeated you will receive the Bishui Beast Bit. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Daoist's Basket Of Fire And Water Curios
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire Cooling Slope.
Having defeated the optional Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast in the Bishui Caves you will receive the Daoist’s Basket of Fire and Water Curios. Counts towards A Curious Collection.
Awakening Wine Worm 3
Location: Flaming Mountains, Bishui Caves, Corridor of Fire and Ice.
With the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast boss defeated, return to the Corridor of Fire and Ice shrine then jump down and enter the archway. Go into the room then look to the chest with the golden glow which you can smash to acquire the 3rd Awakening Wine Worm in the Flaming Mountains.
Craft Bishui Beast Staff

Requirements: Craft at shrine.
Cost: Bishui Beast Bit, x4 Gold Tree Core, x8 Refined Iron Sand, x30,000 Will.
You can craft the Bishui Beast Staff at the shrine once you have acquired the Bishui Beast Bit from the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast boss. Counts towards Staffs and Spears.
Craft Bull King's Shan Wen Chest Armour

Yaksha King
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
Now you have 3 out of 4 pieces of the Bull King’s Mythical Armour (you won’t have the materials to make the fourth piece until new game+) as well as either the Staff of Blazing Karma or the Bishui Beast Staff you will be in a much better position to take on the Yaksha King. For me, I also had the Weaver’s Needle equipped and that was the thing that got the win in the end. Defeat the Yaksha King boss to conclude your time in the Flaming Mountains.
Grieved Body Relic
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
You will receive the Grieved Body Relic once the Yaksha King boss has been defeated.
Plantain Fan Vessel
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
