Here is the Black Myth Wukong Chen Loong boss guide which will help you find and take down a powerful deity waiting in the shore line who is one of the most important bosses to defeat as it takes you to the Zodiac Village. You do, however, need to resurrect the Loong after defeating it.
Location: The New West, Bitter Lake, North Shore of the Bitter Lake.
Rewards: x1,847 XP, x1,185 Will, x2 Yaoguai Core, x1 Refined Iron Sand.
You will be able to find Chen Loong by going South West from the North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine, follow the waters edge where you will find Chen Loong waiting for you in the water and this guy can smack hard for an old Dragon so be prepared for a decent scrap as this Loong can utilise long range tentacle swipes, slaps and thrusts most of which can knock you down.
Chen can also jump in the air and pelt you with Shock bane which can be dangerous as if your Shock bane meter fills you will take considerably more damage than you ordinarily would as well as coming at you with pouncing attacks that close distance very quickly. Cloud Step the lightning and Immobilize the pounces where possible or dodge them if you can.
You will also have to deal with progressive AOE lightning strikes and fast hitting combos, use your Transformation if you need to as well as jumping heavy attacks to stagger the boss for a second leaving it open for follow up attacks. This will either be a boss you do well against or really struggle with depending on your play style but given the amount of bosses you will have taken down already, you know what to do here: learn through failure until you bring the beast down.
You are then free to begin and complete the Chen Loong quest which, once completed grants you access to Zodiac Village.
