Black Myth Wukong Cyan Loong Boss Guide

Here is the Black Myth Wukong Cyan Loong boss guide which will help you find and defeat the third secret Dragon boss in the game, this one will be a statue on the side of a giant Turtle until you get close enough providing you have the Loong Scales.

Location: The New West, Bitter Lake, Turtle Island.
Rewards: x3,210 XP, x2,570 Will, x2 Fine Gold Thread, Mind Core, Loong Pearl, Mountain Shaking Claw, Breath of Fire Soak.
Cyan Loong is a very powerful, optional boss and one who you may want to come back and take on much later in the game as its attacks can wreck your health bar in seconds. Before you can start the fight you firstly need to have acquired the Loong Scales from the hidden chamber on the left side of the arena where you can fight the optional First Prince of Flowing Sands boss. If the boss doesn’t smash through the left wall then equip the Wandering Wight and headbutt the centre of the wall to reveal a crack which leads to a cavern inside of which will be a chest that holds the Loong Scales.

Simply approaching the Cyan Loong statue will trigger the fight then be prepared for all manner of attacks from sweeping slashes, powerful thrusts, aerial attacks, AOE damage most of which having the Shock bane attached to it meaning you will take even more damage than normal if the bane gauge builds to max. All in all this is a very challenging fight.

The Cyan Loong favours hard hitting singular attacks over fast combos but as each one can half health you with ease don’t get complacent as you will respawn over and over again if you do. There are a variety of attacks the Cyan Loong will come at you with including a lightning blast, jumping slashes, spin attacks, thrusts, slashes and a very nasty flying sword attack.

Dodge through the attacks then as soon as you have an opening, get in there with a few attacks before backing away where if you can employ a more defensive, cautious approach you will stand a better chance than going for al out aggression as going punch for punch isn’t a fight you will win very often.

When the Loong has lost around 50% health it will enhance the attack power of all of its sword attacks by embuing them with lightning so here is where I would use your spells especially Cloud Step followed by Immobilize, drop a Spirit halfway through the fight such as Wandering Wight or Second Rat Prince to stagger the Loong leaving it open for more punishment.

Don’t, however, try and tackle Cyan Loong from behind as it will easily carve you open with a tail attack designed to get rid of you for a few seconds where the Loong will then turn around and punish you for your insolence. Jumping heavy attacks will be best from behind though as they send the Loong forward allowing you to dodge round to the side and get some more attacks in. Use your Transformation then inflict as much damage as you can until you bring the Cyan Loong down.

That’s the Black Myth Wukong Cyan Loong boss guide complete, how many times do you fall to this Dragon?.
