Here we will go over where you can collect all of the Black Myth Wukong Gourds of which there are 11 spread throughout the 6 main chapters in the game and the Gourds themselves usually affect how many times and how you heal. You can upgrade the Gourds using Luojia Fragrant Vines which change the names but as long as you have the base Gourd that will suffice for the trophy.
Gourds
Finding all 11 Gourds in the game will count towards unlocking the Brewer’s Bounty trophy with the Gourds, their locations and the effect they have being as follows:
Old Gourd
Location: Black Wind Mountain.
The Old Gourd is your default Gourd when you start the game.
Plaguebane Gourd
Location: Yellow Wind Ridge, Sandgate Village, Village Entrance.
Requirements: Loot the Chest.
Before you can acquire the Plaguebane Gourd you will firstly need to complete the Old-Rattle Drum quest which you can start after taking down the optional Tiger’s Acolyte boss. Once you dropped into the well defeat the Mad Tiger boss then loot the chest to obtain the Plaguebane Gourd.
Jade Lotus Gourd
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Requirements: Purchase from Shen Monkey.
Once you have begun Chapter 3 work through to the shrine then fast travel back to Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist where you can then purchase the Jade Latus Gourd from Shen Monkey.
Trailblazer's Scarlet Gourd
Location: Chapter 3, The New West, New Thunderclap Temple, Temple Entrance.
Requirements: Speak with Ma Tianba.
The Trailblazer#s Scarlet Gourd will be gifted to you when you have spoken to Ma Tianba in The New Thunderclap Temple in the New West who is found by forward then left through the building with the 3 Blind Monks then take a left on the upper floor to find Ma Tianba leaning against a pillar. More information can be found in the Urge Unfulfilled trophy guide if you need it. Speak with Ma Tianba multiple times to unlock the Trailblazer’s Scarlet Gourd.
Fiery Gourd
Location: Chapter 3, The New West, Valley of Ecstasy, Mindfulness Cliff.
Requirements: Loot the chest.
The Fiery Gourd can be found in a chest through a hidden passage accessible by dropping down to the right from the Mindfulness Cliff shrine, follow the linear path through to the cavern where the chest containing the Fiery Gourd will be on the right before you go up and drop back down to the shrine.
Xiang River Goddess Gourd
Location: Chapter 4, The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, The Verdure Bridge.
Requirements: Loot the chests.
The Xiang River Goddess Gourd can be found by going left from the Verdure Bridge shrine where a cutscene will play after which you can enter the room on your right and loot all of the chests where one of them will contain the Xiang River Goddess Gourd at random.
Immortal Blessing Gourd
Location: Ruyi Scroll, Zodiac Village.
Requirements: Purchase from Shen Monkey.
Cost: Boddhisatva’s Right Hand, Boddhisatva’s Left Hand, x10,800 Will.
The Immortal Blessing Gourd can be purchased from Shen Monkey in Zodiac Village which is accessible once the Chen Loong quest has been completed, you then also need to ensure you have both the Boddhisatva’s Right Hand which drops from the mandatory Bosshisatva’s Right Hand boss then the Boddhisatva’s Left Hand which drops from the optional Baw-Li-Guhh-Baw boss who can be found by going back the way you came to the Lower Hollow shrine then squeezing through the crack in the left wall.
Stained Jade Gourd
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Bounds of Deity’s Abode.
Requirements: Defeat The Scorpionlord.
The Stained Jade Gourd will drop from the optional Scorpionlord boss who is found in the Bounds of Deity’s Abode region of Purple Cloud Mountain which serves as the secret area of The Webbed Ridge and is accessible once the Venom Daoist boss and Venom Daoist (second encounter) boss have been defeated which enables you to interact with the painting leading through to Purple Cloud Mountain. Go right from the Valley of Blooms shrine, equip your best gear, rest at the Bounds of Deity’s Abode shrine then get ready for a beatdown as the Scorpionlord is up there as one of the toughest bosses in the game. Defeat the drunkard to unlock the Stained Jade Gourd.
Supreme Gourd
Location: Flaming Mountains, Furnace Valley, Rakshasa Palace.
Requirements: Absorb the Flame.
As you progress through the game you will be able to speak with Yuan Soucheng, an old NPC who is in the first 4 chapters. You also need to be collecting the Luojia Fragrant Vines as you work through the game as these upgrade your Gourd with Shen Monkey. You can, upon reaching the Rakshasa Palace region in the Flaming Mountains go round to the left rather than following the path to the right and enter a cave where Yuan Soucheng can be spoken to for the final time. Ensure you have used the Luojia Fragrant Vines with Shen Monkey to upgrade your base Gourd to the Medicine Buddha Gourd where you can then interact with the flame in front of Yuan Soucheng to receive the Supreme Gourd.
Multi-Glazed Gourd
Location: Ruyi Scroll, Zodiac Village.
Requirements: Purchase from Shen Monkey.
Cost: x18,000 Will.
Once you have begun Chapter 6, Mount Huaguo you can then go to the Zodiac Village and purchase the Multi-Glazed Gourd from Shen Monkey for 18,000 Will.
Qing-Tian Gourd
Location: New Game Plus.
Requirements: Purchase from Shen Monkey.
Cost: x66 Will.
The Qing-Tian Gourd will be the final Gourd you can collect in Black Myth Wukong and to do so you will firstly need to have unlocked Portraits Perfected where you have met every character in the game, defeat every Lesser Yaoguai and having felled every Chief and King boss as well so there’s a lot to do. Once you have secured every Portrait in the game you can purchase the Qing-Tian Gourd from Shen Monkey in New Game Plus for 66 Will.
