Here we will go over the locations of all of the Black Myth Wukong Luojia Fragrant Vines of which there are 15 throughout the first 5 chapters in the game and they are required to improve your Gourd with Shen Monkey either in the Marsh of White Mist or the Zodiac Village which is accessed by completing the Chen Loong quest. Luojia Fragrant Vines are harvested from trees which can be on the main path or completely off the beaten track so you will need to be vigilant if you want to find them all. The Gourd you should be upgrading is the first Gourd you receive in the game as it will then allow you to collect the Supreme Gourd which also unlocks Always Accompanied where you speak with Yuan Soucheng in the first 5 chapters of the game.

Luojia Fragrant Vine 1
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Go to the Marsh of White Mist shrine which is accessible once you have taken down the Guangmou boss then turn around and go behind the rocks to find a Luojia Fragrant Vine hanging from the tree.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 2
Location: Yellow Wind Ridge, Yellow Wind Formation, Windseal Gate.
Rest at the Windseal Gate shrine which you can access early by sliding down the sandbank behind the arena where you can fight the Stone Vanguard boss and optional Shigandang boss then go left up the hill and defeat the Gore-Eye Daoist boss. Look at the cliffs where the Daoist was examining to find this Luojia Fragrant Vine.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 3
Location: Yellow Wind Ridge, Yellow Wind Formation, Windrest Bridge.
Proceed through the Windrest Bridge region to where you need to defeat the Rat Imperial Guard Spirit then once you have opened the wooden gate, go through and collect the Luojia Fragrant Vine from the tree on your right.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 4
Location: The New West, Pagoda Realm, Outside the Wheel.
Head over to the left from the Outside the Wheel Shrine where you will see the Luojia Fragrant Vine hanging down from the tree.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 5
Location: The New West, Zodiac Village.
Requirements: Purchase from Shen Monkey.
Cost: x2,000 Will.
You can purchase the Luojia Fragrant Vine from Shen Monkey once you have access to the Zodiac Village which is done by completing the Chen Loong quest.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 6
Location: The New West, Bitter Lake, North Shore of the Bitter Lake.
Head right towards the Apramana Bat boss arena then before you get there go left up the slope from the North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine then look to your left to find the Luojia Fragrant Vine.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 7
Location: The New West, Valley of Ecstasy, Longevity Road.
Start at the Longevity Road then go off North East to the raised section where 2 Falcon Hermits will spawn and ambush you, put them down by any means necessary then loot the Luojia Fragrant Vine from the tree.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 8
Location: Zodiac Village.
Cost: 3,000 Will.
Speak with Shen Monkey in the Zodiac Village which is accessible by completing the Chen Loong quest after you have begun chapter 4, The Webbed Ridge where you can purchase the Luojia Fragrant Vine.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 9
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Verdure Bridge.
Go forward then drop down to your right and go left up the stairs where you will need to take down the formidable Scorpion Prince Spirit. With that done and all local enemies in the area laid to rest you will be able to collect the Luojia Fragrant Vine from the tree in the centre of the courtyard.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 10
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Relief of Fallen Loong.
Rest at the Relief of Fallen Loong shrine which you can find by following the path from the Boddhisatva’s Right Hand boss then going left across the bridge, use Cloud Step to cross the walkway surrounded by cocoons then follow the path round to the Relief of Fallen Loong shrine. Look at the shrine then go hard left to the edge where the cliffs meet the edge of the abyss to find the tree which holds this Luojia Fragrant Vine.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 11
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Mountain Trail.
As soon as you arrive on the Mountain Trail having defeated the Violet Spider boss, go up the slope and collect the Luojia Fragrant Vine from the tree.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 12
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Purple Cloud Mountain, Valley of Blooms.
This Luojia Fragrant Vine is found in the Valley of Blooms region of Purple Cloud Mountain which is the secret area of the Webbed Ridge and is accessible by defeating the Venom Daoist boss and the Venom Daoist (second encounter) boss. Go right from the Valley of Blooms shrine then defeat the Verdant Glow Spirit (a powerful Lushleaf enemy) then loot the Luojia Fragrant Vine from the tree just besides where the Lushleaf was resting.

Location: Ruyi Scroll, Zodiac Village.
Requirements: Purchase from Shen Monkey.
Cost: x6,000 Will.
Once you are at the Ashen Pass I shrine in Flaming Mountains you can fast travel to Zodiac Village which is available once you have completed the Chen Loong quest. Speak with Shen Monkey and purchase the Luojia Fragrant Vine.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 14
Location: Flaming Mountains, Woods of Ember, Height of Ember.
Firstly, defeat the mandatory Father of Stones boss then go left as you face the gate that is now open, down the stairs then follow the back path down to the lower level defeating the enemies as you go. At the bottom of the path will be a tree surrounded by immolating enemies so defeat them all which then allows you to collect the Luojia Fragrant Vine from the tree.
Luojia Fragrant Vine 15
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Furnace Valley Crater.
Head down the slope and take a left from the Furnace Valley Crater shrine then take a left into the now accessible area and defeat the optional Flint Vanguard boss which then allows you to go over to the left of the area, deal with the ambush then loot the 3rd Luojia Fragrant Vine from the tree.
