This entire trophy needs to be completed in Chapter 2, however, you can come back later if you need to although the reward you receive will drastically increase your chances of taking down the Yellow Wind Sage boss so I recommend doing this as soon as you are able. Work through Chapter 2 to where you take down the Second Prince of Flowing Sands boss then cross the bridge in the top right corner which leads you to Fright Cliff. Work through the caves or desert to the Rockrest Flat Shrine then rest up. If you take a left you can enter the arena where the Stone Vanguard can be fought, however, if you go straight from the Shrine you can go pass a Spearbone enemy to a small fence you can smash through which leads you to a large open area which has a Boar to drunk to stand over to the left on a rock cluster.

In order to sober the Boar up you will need a Sobering Stone which can be purchased it from the Man-in-Stone boss once he has been defeated, however, in order to activate the Man-in-Stone you firstly need to enter the caves behind the Rockrest Flat Shrine, take a right, go up the hill, deal with the Poisestone enemies before entering the cavern where you will be able to fight and defeat the Mother of Stones boss where you will then receive the Stone Essence you can use to “free” the Man in Stone. Upon interacting with the Man in Stone he will jump out of the ground then call you a disgrace once you have exhausted his dialogue so hit him to initiate the boss fight and he’s very simple to take down, once done go and rest at a Shrine then come back where he will then sell you a Sobering Stone for 6,480 Will.

With the Sobering Stone in hand, go back to the open area and speak with the Boar who will start to come round before saying he is in need of sustenance which he believes can be found at the Temple where you fought and defeated the Tiger Vanguard. Get back to the Temple then take the second right on the stairs to find the Boar slobbed out after consuming his fill of meat where he will then tell you he needs a Jade Lotus so speak with him once you have one, the plant looks like this and can be found throughout the early game:

With that done you will then be tasked with finding a special piece of Gold which is the Arkhat Gold Piece you receive by defeating the First Prince of Flowing Sands boss so take him out if you haven’t done so already then go back to the large open area where you first spoke to the Boar this time going to the right where you will be able to speak with him which initiates a fight against the Yellow-Robed Squire boss who once defeated will open the way through to the Sahali Kingdom.

Once in the Sahali Kingdom you will need to take down the “Tiger Vanguard”, not the one from earlier but a new boss with the same name who can be a tough opponent to defeat, however, once he is down go through to the open area, rest at the Shrine then run up the slope and speak with the King who will then summon Fuban, a boss who you need a good amount of skill to take on and defeat. Halfway through the fight you will pull the artefact from the eyeballs of the Buddha on the Fuban’s back which then permits the King to join you in the fight. Bring Fuban down together to then unlock Shifting Sands and upon doing so will give you the Wind Tamer, a piece of gear which subdues the Yellow Wind Guai’s wind attacks when used strategically.
