Here is a look at all of the Black Myth Wukong Staff Stances and the skills they have which will help you be more efficient in combat and to unlock the skills you will need to use Sparks which you get by earning XP throughout the game or by using Meditation Spots. In addition to the staff skills you can also put Sparks into improving your Focus Points which is the skill tree to the left of Smash Stance. The Staff Stances and their relevant skills are broken down into 4 main categories which are:
Unlocking them all will give you a significant advantage against some of the tougher enemies as well as make the whole experience a lot more manageable and enjoyable and as a bonus as you work through the Staff Stances you will gain more focus points in this order:
- 2 focus points: Unlock 3 stance skills.
- 3 focus points: Unlock 10 stance skills.
- 4 focus points: Unlock 20 stance skills.
Focus Points
Focus Points play a very important role in Black Myth Wukong as they can unlock some seriously powerful attacks and move sets as well as help replenish health and overall make the game more manageable. You can upgrade the amount of focus points as well as improve their efficiency by going: Menu> Self-Advance> Staff Stances then go to the left side of Smash Stance to start putting Sparks in the skill tree. As you unlock skills you will gain access to more focus points with a total of 4, 3 of which can be banked and held on to where as the fourth focus point will require you to build up your focus bar from 3 to 4 where you will then unlock one of the strongest single attacks in the game but you won’t have long before the fourth focus point dissipates. The Focus Point skills are:
- Exhilaration.
- Level 1: 1 Sparks.
- Level 2. 1 Sparks.
- Level 3. 1 Sparks.
- Instinct.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Versatility.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Quick Hand.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Secondary Damage.
- Unlock: 2 Sparks.
- Endeavor.
- Unlock: 2 Sparks.
Smash Stance
The Heavy Attack of the smash stance, capable of being charged while moving around in battle. is highly versatile and the best choice for engaging in tactical combats. There are 15 Skills you can unlock in the Smash Stance which will be your primary method of attack in Black myth Wukong so increasing how effectively you can use the Smash Stance will greatly increase not only your damage output but your chances of survival as well. After all, a dead enemy can’t hurt you anymore. Usually. The skills you can learn in the Smash Stance are as follows:
- Force Unbound.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Ironbound Resolve.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Smashing Force.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Peace from Peril.
- Unlock: 2 Sparks.
- Resolute Counterflow.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Winding Wind.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Skyfall Strike.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Invigoration.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Vantage Point.
- Unlock: 2 Sparks.
Pillar Stance
The Heavy Attack of the Pillar Stance allows perching on the top of his staff, with adjustable height. One can launch a sweeping counterattack while evading ground attack with this technique combining offense and defence. There are 8 skills you can unlock in the Pillar Stance which are as follows:
- Pillar Stance.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Steel Pillar.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Skylarking.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Towering Mountain.
- Unlock: 2 Sparks.
- Sweeping Gale.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Gale’s Blessing.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Churning Gale.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Collapsing Gale.
- Unlock: 2 Sparks.
Thrust Stance
The Heavy Attack of Thrust Stance requires the Destined One to stand in place with charging. It can strike enemies from a distance and is particularly effective against incoming attacks. It is the best technique for achieving victory while remaining defensive. There are 10 skill for you to learn in the Thrust Stance which are as follows:
- Thrust Stance.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Borrowed Strength.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Offense in Defense.
- Unlock: 1 Sparks.
- Whirling Thrusts.
- Unlock: 2 Sparks.
