Here is the Black Myth Wukong Staffs and Spears trophy guide which will help you find, craft and acquire every weapon in the game of which there are 19 and to get them all you will need to not only play through the entire game you will need to also go a good way through new game+ as well. There will be a good number of staffs and or spears you can only craft once you have defeated specific bosses some of which are story whereas other bosses required are optional with some being hidden away in places you wouldn’t know to look.

Willow Wood Staff
The Willow Wood Staff id the default staff in the game.
Twin Serpents Staff
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Requirements: Craft at Shrine.
Cost: Jade Fang, x8 Stone Spirit, x2,700 Will.
You will be able to craft the Twin Serpents Staff at a Shrine once you have defeated the Whiteclad Noble boss which rewards you with the Jade Fang.
Wind Bear Staff
Location: Yellow Wind Ridge, Sandgate Village, Village Entrance,
Requirements: Craft at Shrine.
Cost: Flame Ebongold, x4 Yaoguai Core, x8 Stone Spirit, x8,100 Will.
You will be able to craft the Wind Bear Staff at a Shrine once you have defeated the Black Bear Guai boss which rewards you with the Flame Ebongold.
Loongwreathe Staff
Location: Yellow Wind Ridge, Fright Cliff, Rockrest Flat.
Requirements: Craft at Shrine.
Cost: x1 Thunder Tail, x1 Thunderbone, x4 Refined Iron Sand, x21,000 Will.
You will be able to craft the Loongwreathe Staff at the Shrine once you have defeated both the Red Loong boss and the Black Loong boss which rewards you with the Thunder Tail and Thunderbone crafting materials. You may need to progress through the story some more to acquire enough Yaoguai Cores if you have run out. Before you can face off against the Red Loong and the Black Loong you will firstly need to acquire the Loong Scales.
Cloud-Patterned Stone Staff
Location: Yellow Wind Ridge, Fright Cliff, Rockrest Flat.
Requirements: Craft at Shrine.
Cost: Heart of Stone, x4 Yaoguai Core, x8 Stone Spirit, x8,100 Will.
You will be able to craft the Cloud-Patterned Stone Staff at the Shrine once you have defeated the optional Shigandang boss which rewards you with the Heart of Stone.
Rat Sage Staff
Location: The New West, Snowhill Path, Frost-Clad Path.
Requirements: Craft at Shrine.
Cost: Samadhi Wind Agate, x4 Refined Iron Sand, x8 Yaoguai Core, x21,000 Will.
You will be able to craft the Rat Sage Staff at the shrine once you have defeated the Yellow Wind Sage boss which rewards you with the Samadhi Wind Agate.
Kang-Jin Staff
Location: The New West, Pagoda Realm, Lower Pagoda.
Requirements: Craft at Shrine.
Cost: Starlit Cloud-Bidden Antler, x4 Refined Iron Sand, x8 Yaoguai Core, x21,000 Will.
You will be able to craft the Kang-Jin Staff at the shrine once the Kang-Jin Loong boss has been defeated which rewards you with the Starlit Cloud Bidden Antler. You might need more materials at this point in the game so keep playing through and you’ll have them soon enough then craft the staff when you’re able to.
Chu-Bai Spear
Location: The New West, Pagoda Realm, Lower Pagoda.
Requirements: Craft at Shrine.
Cost: Chubai Spearhead, x4 Refined Iron Sand, x8 Yaoguai Core, x21,000 Will.
The Chu-Bai staff can be crafted once you receive the Chubai Spearhead which is a reward for collecting all 4 lost Spirits for the third Prince during the Third Prince quest. With all 4 Spirits returned to the Third Prince and the Chubai Spearhead in hand you will be able to craft the Chu-Bai Spear at the Shrine.
Spikeshaft Staff
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Estate of Lanxi, Estate of the Zhu.
Requirements: Craft at Shrine.
Cost: Cosmo Radiance, x4 Gold Tree Core, x8 Refined Iron Sand, x30,000 Will.
You will be able to craft the Spikeshaft Staff at the shrine once the Yellowbrow boss has been defeated which rewards you with the Cosmo Radiance. You may need more Gold Tree Core so continue through the game until you have enough.
Golden Loong Staff
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Relief of the Fallen Loong.
Requirements: Craft at Shrine.
Cost: Mountain-Shaking Claw, Sea-Supporting Tendon, x2 Kun Steel, x45,000 Will.
You will be able to craft the Golden Loong Staff at the shrine once the Cyan Loong boss and the Yellow Loong boss have been defeated. You will need the Loong Scales before you can take them both and the Yellow Loong will only appear as long as you have also defeated the Red Loong boss and the Black long boss as well.
Visionary Centipede Staff
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of the Yellow Flower, Court of Illumination.
Requirements: Craft at Shrine.
Cost: Golden Glowing Eye, x4 Gold Tree Core, x8 Refined Iron Sand, x30,000 Will.
You will be able to craft the Visionary Centipede Staff at the shrine once the Hundred-Eyed Daoist boss has been defeated which rewards you with the Golden Glowing Eye.
Spider Celestial Staff
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Temple of Yellow Flowers, Mountain Trail.
Requirements: Craft at shrine.
Cost: Spider Leg, x4 Gold Tree Core, x8 Refined Iron Sand, x30,000 Will.
You can craft the Spider Celestial Staff at the shrine once the Violet Spider boss has been defeated.
Staff Of Blazing Karma
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Cooling Slope.
Requirements: Craft at shrine.
Cost: x3 Samadhi Flaming Crystal, x4 Gold Tree Core, x30,000 Will.
The Staff of Blazing Karma can be crafted at the Field of Fire Cooling Slope shrine once you have acquired 3 Samadhi Flaming Crystals which drop one a piece from the following 3 optional bosses:
- Flint Chief.
- Flint Vanguard.
- Mother of Flamlings.
With the required materials in your inventory, craft the Staff of Blazing Karma which is very effective against any enemy weak to Scorch.
Bishui Beast Staff
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Cooling Slope.
Requirements: Craft at shrine.
Cost: Bishui Beast Bit, x4 Gold Tree Core, x8 Refined Iron Sand, x30,000 Will.
You will be able to craft the Bishui Beast Staff at the shrine once the optional Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast has been defeated and with the Beast in the depths of the Bishui Caves which serves as the secret area of the Flaming Mountains and is accessed by completing the Rusty-Carts quest. Work through to the Corridor of Fire and Ice, equip anything to help guard against fire damage then defeat the Bishui-Golden Eyed Beast which unlocks the Bishui Beast Staff for crafting.
Jingubang
Location: Mount Huaguo, Foothills, Mantis-Catching Swamp.
As you progress through Mount Huagup you will need to acquire the 4 Mythical pieces of Sun Wukong’s armour which are the:
- Golden Feng-Tail Crown. Drops from the Feng-Tail General boss.
- Gold Suozi Armor. Drops from the Gold Armored Rhino boss.
- Lotus Silk Cloudtreaders. Drops from the Cloudtreading Deer boss.
- Dian-Cui Loong-Soaring Bracers. Drops from the Emerald-Armed Mantis boss.
With the Bracers acquired which will always be the last piece, Zhu Bajie will suggest you go to Water Curtain Cave which is directly West of the Mantis-Catching Swamp shrine. Enter the Cave then follow the path round to the giant Jingubang staff which you will acquire after the cutscene. This also unlocks Guardian of Gear.
Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff
Location: New Game Plus, Yellow Wind Ridge, Fright Cliff, Rockrest Flat.
Requirements: Craft at Shrine.
Cost: x4 Sky-Piercing Horn, x4 Gold Tree Core, x2 Kun Steel, x45,000 Will.
You will be able to craft the Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff in new game plus as long as you have been following along with the Chapter 2 walkthrough you will have fought Fuban in the Kingdom of Sahali on your first playthrough so go through the steps again, completing the Drunken Boar quest then defeating the Yellow-Roved Squire boss which grants you access to the Kingdom of Sahali. You also need to ensure you have put down the Scorpionlord boss in the Webbed Ridge. Put the Fuban boss down again which then gives you another Sky-Piercing Horn you can use to craft the Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff.
Stormflash Loong Staff
Location: New Game Plus, The New West, Bitter Lake, Turtle Island.
Requirements: Craft at shrine.
Cost: x9 Loong Pearl, x4 Gold Tree Core, x2 Kun Steel, x45,000 Will.
The Stormflash Loong Staff is craftable in New Game Plus, however, you will need to ensure you didn’t miss any of the secret Loong bosses who can be fought once you have the Loong Scales from Yellow Wind Ridge in the arena where the First Prince of Flowing Sands can be fought all of who will drop a Loong Pearl. The Loong bosses you can fight are:
- Red Loong.
- Black Loong
- Cyan Loong.
- Yellow Loong.
You will also receive a Loong Pearl for taking down the Kang-Jin Star boss who is a mandatory boss on Turtle Island. In New Game Plus, collect the Loong Scales then take out the first 3 Loong bosses again where you will then have enough Loong Pearls to craft the Stormflash Loong Staff.
Dark Iron Staff
Location: Flaming Mountains, Field of Fire, Cooling Slope.
Requirements: Craft at shrine.
Cost: x2 The Bull King’s Iron Horn, x4 Gold Tree Core, x2 Kun Steel, x45,000 Will.
The Dark Iron Staff can be crafted in New Game Plus providing you accessed the Bishui Caves, looted the Bull King’s Iron Horn from the chest just pass the Cave Depths shrine then defeated the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast boss. You can then go back through your second playthrough to the Bishui Caves again, loot the Bull King’s Iron Horn from the chest again then defeat the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast boss again which gives you enough Bull King’s Iron Horn to craft the Dark Iron Staff.
Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear
Location: Mount Mei.
Requirements: Unlock the secret ending.
The Tri-Point Double-Edged Spear will drop once you have unlocked the secret ending in Mount Mei, a secret area accessible once you have been through the previous 4 secret areas in the game:
- Ancient Guanyin Temple.
- Kingdom of Sahali.
- Purple Cloud Mountain.
- Bishui Caves.
You then need to finish the Flaming Mountains chapter which will allow you to fast travel back to the Pagoda Realm, Snow-Veiled Trail then go South across the bridge then follow the path to the temple which will then lead you through to Mount Mei.
