Here is the Black Myth Wukong Temple of Taint trophy guide which will help you ring all 3 bells then access the Ancient Guanyin Temple all of which can be done in Black Wind Mountain, however, you will have to take down 3 bosses one of whom is one of the toughest in the early game. There are several reasons to access the Temple and also a few things you should focus on doing before entering the Temple chief among which is ensuring you have taken down the Wandering Wight boss in the Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest biome as once you have defeated the boss in the Temple the Wandering Wight will disappear and it’s fairly essential to get a lot more items throughout the game.
As for the bells, once you have taken down the 3 required bosses you need to go up to the bell and press R2 to ring it which will trigger a cut-scene showing you the local area and with the third bell rung you will be taken directly to the Ancient Guanyin Temple. The 3 bells you need to ring and the steps to take are:
Once you are in the Ancient Guanyin Temple ensure you loot the chest to your right to acquire the Guanyin’s Prayer Beads which counts towards the Mantled with Might trophy. I will be recommending you take the bosses down in a particular order which will be the same order I recommend in all of the other guides where they are a part of with their ordering being related to their difficulty rather than anything else.
Bell 1
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Snake Trail.
Go through the area with the Serpents and Snake Skeletons to the Guangmou boss arena. Take Guangmou down then go behind the boss arena to find the first bell you need to ring.
Bell 2
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest.
Go straight from the Outside the Forest Shrine to the back area where you can fight and defeat Guanzhi. Ring the bell at the back of the Arena.
Wandering Wight
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest.
Ensure you defeat the powerful, Wandering Wight boss who is a challenge but with the Red Tides Transformation you received after defeating Guanzhi you should be able to bring it down. Spend an hour if you need to levelling up and becoming more proficient in combat just ensure you defeat the Wandering Wight and absorb its Spirit before you ring the 3rd bell.
Bell 3
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Bamboo Grove, Marsh of White Mist.
Head down the ramp pass the Shen Monkey and into the water where you need to engage and take down the very powerful, Whiteclad Noble boss then follow the stream to the left, take out the 4 Wolves and ring the third bell which will take you to the
Ancient Guanyin Temple
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Ancient Guanyin Temple, Grand Chamber.
With the 3 bells rung and the Wandering Wight defeated you will be in the Ancient Guanyin Temple, like I mentioned at the top of the guide ensure you loot the Guanyin’s Prayer Bead Armguards from the middle chest then go through to the Courtyard and take on and defeat the Elder Jinchi boss. Once Elder Jinchi has been defeated you will then no longer be able to access the Ancient Guanyin Temple area as well as unlocking Temple of Taint.
