Here is the Black Myth Wukong Tiger’s Acolyte boss guide which will help you take down this optional boss in standing atop a bridge locked behind a village full of tough enemies.

Location: Yellow Wind Ridge, Yellow Wind Formation, Windrest Hamlet.
Rewards: x758 XP, x771 Will, x1 Stone Spirit, x1 Yaoguai Core, Old Rattle-Drum, Tiger’s Acolyte Spirit.
The Tiger’s Acolyte boss is an optional warrior you can take on and one you will need to defeat if you want to complete the Old Rattle-Drum quest which will give you another boss to take down as well as give you some decent rewards. Go to the bridge from the Windrest Hamlet Shrine either running pass or defeating the enemies as you go then begin the fight against the Tiger’s Acolyte who can slice you back to the Shrine very quickly.

The Tiger’s Acolyte has a high attack and speed but fairly manageable defence so as long as you are proficient at dodging you should be able to beat him down soon enough, if you get caught in a combo though you more than likely won’t survive the high damage he inflicts.

One of the things you need to be very careful of is not being knocked off the bridge. The Acolyte can’t be hit off but you can so stay away from the sides as much as you can. Use Cloud Step if you are getting a bit close for comfort, create some distance then boot him into a stagger where you can either follow up with a jumping heavy or a combo.

There is only 1 phase so don’t hold back with your spells and abilities and if you do start taking a beating try and transform to keep yourself alive even if it does cost you the transformation. Immobilize as always will work well if you need to get some healing done or need a breather then keep the beatdown going until you lay the Tiger’s Acolyte to rest.
