Here is the Black Myth Wukong Venom Daoist boss guide which will help you find and bring down the Venom Doaist which, if done correctly will reward you with an ultra-rare set of Armguards.
Location: The Webbed Ridge, Webbed Hollow, Pool of Shattered Jade.
Rewards: 2,274 XP, 1,927 Will. Providing you smashed the arms off the boss’s back you will receive the Venomous Armguard Arm Armour.
The Venom Daoist is a boss who you will need to fight twice throughout the Webbed Ridge and the first time is more important than virtually any other boss in the game if you are going for the Platinum as you need to kill the boss a certain way in order to acquire a rare set of Armour, the Venomous Armguards which is done by smashing the arms from the Daoist’s back with heavy attack so go in with Immobilize, Cloud Step, a Transformation such as Ebon Flow and a hard hitting Spirit such as the Second Rat Prince or Wandering Wight. Ensure you also have access to 3 Focus Points as the charged heavy attacks can be very useful here.
To get to the Pool of Shattered Jade shrine you need to go forward from the Upper Hollow shrine then drop down to your left as you find the planks on the floor then follow the linear path up through the caverns going pass the Scorpion Prince and Puppet Spider enemies to the Pool of Shattered Jade shrine which you can rest at then take a right and go through the Spider cocoons in the cave which leads through to a large Cocoon you can attack until the Venom Daoist spawns.
Attack wise the Daoist will zip around the arena using powerful sword attacks to hurt you but they are fairly easy to avoid, the main thing you should be focusing on is only attacking the boss from behind so use Immobilize to lock him in place, get behind and punish. When Immobilize is broken use Cloud Step to phase through him then use the kick as soon as you can. Your 1 and only goal in this fight is to smash those arms from his back.
The main issue with achieving that goal is the fact the Venom Daoist is very weak so you can kill him quickly and considering the bosses you will have taken down to get to this point in the game even if you are solely focusing on the story will make the Daoist nothing at all to be concerned about so use your Spirits and focus attacks only his back where you will hopefully receive the Venomous Armguard when the boss is down. If not then you need to try again in either new game+ or start a new game with the latter being highly ill advised.
