Here is the Black Myth Wukong Wandering Wight boss guide which will help you take down this over-seized pugilist who is wandering around in a clearing waiting to smack you back to the shrine until you learn how best to deal with its attacks.
Location: Black Wind Mountain, Forest of Wolves, Outside the Forest.
Rewards: x695 Will, x1 Stone Spirit, Blood of the Iron Bull, Wandering Wight Spirit.
You will come across the Wandering Wight boss shortly after having dealt with the Bullguard boss, however, I will be very surprised if you have the skills to take it down at this point as it hits very hard with incredibly long ranged AOE attacks as well as a good amount of combos you will struggle to avoid let alone tank at this point in the game. This boss is really here to show you that some bosses are optional and can be fought later so that’s exactly what I recommend you do. Before taking on the Wandering Wight Ifirstly recommend you take down the following 3 bosses:
With all 3 of those bosses dealt with you will have access to some powerful attacks, all of which will help you with the transformation spell you acquire from Guanzhi being particularly effective as it will allow you to burn the Wandering Wight which inflicts damage over time whilst you avoid the onslaught of attacks coming your way. Given the experience you will have gained and called upon to bring down the 3 bosses above you will now face a serious challenge in the Wandering Wight so spend all of your Sparks then get in there and get ready for a very tough fight.
From the very start of the fight which will happen when you get close to the baby-headed boss you will be attacked with heavy attacks including stomps, slams, swipes, punches and charge attacks all of which can stagger you but the most dangerous attack by far is when the Wight Slams its hand down into the ground then reenforces the attack 3 -4 times before raising up and sending a powerful, ground splitting energy blast at you which you won’t want to be anywhere near when it hits.
Make good use of your Transformation spell you acquired but only when the Wandering Wight has stopped attacking for a brief moment otherwise if you get caught in a combo it will go to waste and you need all the help you can get. Keep pressure on and make good use of your attacks both standing and jumping whilst always ensuring you have enough stamina to dodge and or run away depending on the attacks the Wight will come at you with.
Once the Wandering Wight is defeated you may have a few Bandits come for you from the local area who shouldn’t give you that much trouble unless you are really low on health so be cautious and collect the Wandering Wight Spirit as soon as you are able before it disappears. It can be retrieved from the Shrine if it does but best to be safe than sorry here.
That’s the Black Myth Wukong Wandering Wight boss guide complete, I hope it helped you bring this overpowered childish boss down.
