Got Big Game
Defeat all of Hammerlock’s Legendary Hunts.

Here is the complete Borderlands 3 Got Big Game Trophy Guide. There are a total of 10 Legendary Hunts across the Galaxy in Borderlands 3. Some of these, particularly the 2 flying ones are very difficult, some others though you can near enough one shot.

Every time you defeat a legendary hunt you’ll receive a weapon through the in game mail system. There’s no pre-requisite for these hunts, simply make your way to the locations I’ll give you, defeat the unique enemy and move on to the next one.

Take note, some of these Legendary Hunts have a very powerful entourage with them consisting of Badass / heavily armoured enemies, you don’t need to take these additional enemies out, but it might make tackling the hunts themselves easier, always remember the golden rule in Borderlands 3, enemies don’t respawn until you leave the area.

So if you find you’re struggling, take out as many as you can, if you die, respawn in and take a few more out until it’s just you and the hunt. The 10 Legendary Hunt’s are as follows, you can find time stamps in the description of the video below which will take you directly to a particular hunt.

Crawly

Pandora, The Droughts.
Very heavily armoured, so bring a corrosive weapon. Once you kill Crawly, he’ll then spawn into 2 Varkids, once these 2 are defeated, they’ll both spawn into 2 more Varkids.

Although this sounds a bit daunting, the Varkids do get progressively easier to defeat.

Skrakk

Pandora, Ascension Bluff.
Skrakk is a very agile, very powerful enemy who is usually accompanied by several badass and powerful Skags making this one of the more challenging Hunts in the game.

In the video at the top of the page, I went after Skrakk at far to low of a level, I managed to defeat it but it took far to long.

So learn from my mistake, come in at least level 20 / 30 & and you’ll have Skrakk downed in no time

Chupacabratch

Atlas, Near the Cemetery.
Chupacabratch is a very large Ratch enemy that is surprisingly easy to take down, bring an incendiary weapon along with you and you’ll have the Chupacabratch downed very quickly.

So to find the Chupacabratch once you’re tasked with finding Ava, you’ll run through an area with a fair few Ratch, go through this area then directly left through a little gap in the cliff face, Chupacabratch is just in this clearing.

Chonk Stomp

Eden-6, Floodmoor Basin.
Chonk Stomp is similar to the regular Saurians you have been fighting throughout Eden-6, nothing really to worry about here, bring a decent Incendiary Weapon, stay away from him if he charges / lunges.

Chonk Stomp has no ranged attacks so stay back and you’ll have this one done soon enough.

Jabbermogwai

Eden-6, Voracious Canopy.
The biggest embarrassment on this list and possibly the entire trophy guide Jabbermogwai is a much easier version of the regular Jabbers you’ll encounter across Eden-6.

You’ll see in the video I barely use 3 rounds to drop this “Legendary” Hunt.

Antalope

Eden-6, Pandora, Devil’s Razor.
Antalope is essentially a Spiderant with Antlers, not very tough with a very large critical spot behind it, don’t try and take her on head-on, wait for it to charge then load it up with lead as it runs past you.

This fight only really presents a challenge if Antalope is joined by a good number of other Spiderants but to be fair they have a very low spawn rate during the fight. Don’t run away to far and you’ll be done very quickly.

Phoenix

Pandora, The Splinterlands.
Now we come to most difficult Hunt, Phoenix. This overgrown budgie is very agile and resistant to damn near everything, especially incendiary damage, bring a high firing non elemental weapon like the Shredifier Assault Rifle with you and some decent homing grenades if you have them. Using vehicle weapons work very well against Phoenix as well.

Above all though, you have to kill the Phoenix three times before it finally dies. Once you have drained its health bar once, it’ll bury itself in ash on the ground, once it is “Reborn” it will be a lot stronger, the 2nd time you defeat it it will once again bury itself and come back a lot stronger, down this wayward bird for the third and final time and you’ll have one less Hunt to do.

Manvark

Pandora, Konrad’s Hold.
Manvark is a pain to fight, he keeps switching between a man & a Varkid (hence the name) he’s also accompanied with what feels like half the Galaxy’s Varkids as well, they morph very quickly into adults, then badass’ making this fight incredibly challenging if you take your time with it.

Bring some very powerful crowd control weapons such as the Bearcat Assault Rifle and deal with all of the Larvae Varkids as soon as you can.

Manvark will go down fairly easy once it’s just you and him.

Blinding Banshee

Nekrotafeyo, Desolation’s Edge.
A fairly disappointing Legendary Hunt, considering how far you’ve come in the game, it’s an overgrown version of the standard enemies you’ve been fighting across Nekrotafeyo, but a fair bit weaker, bring a decent incendiary weapon and you’ll have this one downed very quickly, the only thing that can make this fight even mildly challenging is if you get mobbed by the other enemies that surround the Banshee.

But like I mentioned, the Banshee is the weakest of the bunch, so take it down first and you won’t have to bother with the mobs if you choose not to.

Swarm Host

Nekrotafeyo, The Pyre Of Stars.
As you’re making your way around the Pyre Of Stars you’ll see a large chamber on the left of your minimap, after you have faced the bandits, be careful not to advance to far forward, if you fall off the cliff at the end of the area , you’ll have to re-run the entire Pyre Of Stars again.

The Swarm Host is a very easy fight. Bring an incendiary weapon with you and it’ll be dead very quickly.

Congratulations on getting all 10 Legendary Hunts done and out the way, as a reward for your efforts you get possibly the worst Assault Rifle in the game as a reward as well as your Trophy.

That’s the Borderlands 3 Got Big Game Trophy Guide complete I hope it helps you defeat all of Hammerlock’s legendary hunts.
