Borderlands 4 Auger Mine Bosses

Here we will go over all of the Borderlands 4 Auger Mine bosses which you can face off against by progressing the story far enough through to Calder who will give you access to the Auger Mines which are usually filled with waves of enemies. Bosses can be a hefty challenge but that said the rewards and loot you can get from them can really help you through those tough spots as well as looking pretty damn cool as well. The Bunker bosses you will face throughout the game are:

Auger Mine Bosses

Axemaul

Location: Dominion City, Carcadia District, The Toil of Spoiling Vis Auger Mine.
Axemaul is a Wolf with an Axe for a head who will slam down and use its tail to inflict damage. Combine that with a very low defence and health pool and it won’t take long to bring this beast down.

Bramblesong

Location: Terminus Range, Stoneblood Forest, Bittervein Auger Mine.
Bramblesong can be a pain to deal with as it is an oversized Kratch who you fight on the edge of an abyss so it’s very easy to fall off and die. Avoid the tail blasts whilst returning fire and keep your back to the wall to avoid being slammed off into the ether.

Rocken Roller

Location: Carcadia Burn, Ruined Sumplands, Trinket Crevass Auger Mine.
Rocken Roller is arguably one of the toughest bosses in the game as it is covered in Ordnite which can only be destroyed with explosives so weapons like the Wombo Combo Assault Rifle are invaluable when fighting this oversized Pangolin.

Shadowpelt

Location: Terminus Range, Cuspid Climb, Whistler’s Maw.
Shadowpelt is a very tough opponent, not because of the attacks or anything that it throws at you but due to the fact it’s an invisible Mangler until you manage to bring the shield down. You then have a short window of opportunity to unload Hell into the Mangler until its shields are back up and it goes invisible again.

Skull Orchid

Location: Carcadia Burn, Grindstone of the Worthy, Embossed Fault Auger Mine.
Skull Orchid is a large Creep who will slam down on the ground inflicting damage with whichever element it is attuned to. Fire always seems to work well against Skull Orchid so use the element to your advantage whilst avoiding the slams and charges.

The Backhive

Location: The Fadefields, Dissected Plateau, The Claim Auger Mine.
The Backhive is a nasty boss who can spawn Kratch from its back, charge at you and stomp you into oblivion, it is susceptible to fire damage and if you’re struggling stay close to the central column and go round the base which protects you from the majority of the Backhive’s attacks.

Voraxis

Location: The Fadefields, Coastal Bonescape, Timid Ky;e’s Neglected Opening Auger Mine.
Voraxis is a giant Thresher who inflicts very heavy damage by throwing rocks and charging at you with a spiral attack which is hard to evade. Get behind his head and inflict as much punishment as you can before the Wyrm starts charging around again.

That’s all of the Borderlands 4 Auger Mine bosses. Who was your favourite / least favourite to fight?.
