The Dark Soul
Acquire all trophies.

To Link the First Flame
Reach “To Link the First Flame” ending.
The simplest of the 3 endings to unlock in Dark Souls 3, defeat the final boss then interact with the bonfire. As long as you haven’t met the requirements for the other 3 endings in the game, The End Of Fire , The Usurpation Of Fire , or the Lord Of Hollows (no trophy for the Lord of Hollows ending). Your Trophy will unlock.

The End of Fire
Reach “The End of Fire” ending.
Make your way through the game until you get to Lothric Castle, from here, you need to go through to Dark Firelink Shrine which is in the Untended Graves (see Untended Graves, for information on how to get here). Defeat Champion Gundyr (see Champion Gundyr, for information on this) then head up and through the Dark Firelink Shrine, taking care around the Black Knights in the area. Once in Dark Firelink Shrine, head down to the right, making your way through to the end to the wall which is an Illusionary wall, go through it and retrieve the Eyes of the Firekeeeper.
Take the Eyes back to the Firekeeper in Firelink Shrine, exhausting her dialogue, selecting “Yes” when prompted then head to the end of the game and defeat the Soul of Cinder. After this, you need to summon the firekeeper using the summon sign (ensure you are embered if you left and came back directly after killing the Soul of Cinder) then light the bonfire. Ensure you DO NOT KILL the Firekeeper where a cutscene will then trigger unlocking your Trophy.

The Usurpation of Fire
Reach “The Usurpation of Fire” ending.

Lords of Cinder: Abyss Watchers
Defeat the Abyss Watchers, Lords of Cinder.
The Abyss Watchers are found in the Road of Sacrifices, ensure you rest at the Farron Keep Perimeter, just before you go through to fight them. The Abyss Watchers employ heavy melee attacks that are fire based so make sure you have fire resistant gear on. The first half of the fight will see you face off against 1 then 2 and finally 3 Abyss Watchers so speed is key here to have an easier time of. The Abyss Watchers also have a habit of attacking each other which can help somewhat.
Once their health bar has been reduced a cut scene will kick in where you will then face the Abyss Watcher who is seriously buffed, can cover distance very quickly and has some very powerful combos. Do your best to stay behind him and dodge at the last second, wait for the combos to finish before healing. Relieve him of his health bar, winning the fight which will unlock your Trophy.

Lord of Cinder: Yhorm the Giant
Defeat Yhorm the Giant, Lord of Cinder.
Yhorm can be found in the Irithyll Dungeon, Profaned Capital. There is a nice little trick to this fight to make things so much easier. Before you go through the fog gate, ensure you have a Homeward Bone in your Quick Item. Run into the arena and sprint to the back of the arena, to the right of the throne will be the Storm Ruler Greatsword, grab it then warp out back to the bonfire.
Equip the Storm Ruler and practice using it for a couple of minutes, you can charge the Greatsword by firstly equipping it as a two-handed weapon (press Triangle) then hold down L2 to charge the weapon, then press R2 to fire a blast forwards. Every time you hit Yhorm with this attack, it will take off 20% of his health, just ensure you are locked on and have a clear shot. You can charge the shot then round around avoiding his attacks, as soon as you get an opening, lock on fire, recharge. Rinse and repeat until Yhorm is defeated which will unlock your Trophy.

Lord of Cinder: Aldrich, Devourer of Gods
Defeat Aldrich, Devourer of Gods, Lord of Cinder.
Aldrich, Devourer of Gods is fought in Anor Londo and can be more than challenging. Before you go into the fight, ensure you’re equipped for lightning offense and fire / magic defence. Aldrich will constantly warp in an out the arena, which you can use to your advantage as he will always spawn in the furthest corner from where you are currently, so if you’re in the bottom right corner he will spawn in the top left.
Use this to your advantage, wait for a few seconds when he goes underground then sprint to whichever corner he will pop up in and hit him a couple of times. Hits to the head deal bonus damage whilst hitting his tail reduces the damage so play tactically. One of the worst attacks he can use is an arrow barrage that tracks you, if you get caught in the attack you’re pretty much guaranteed to be killed so void this at all costs. Roughly halfway through the fight, Aldrich will start using fire attacks which hit hard. Avoid his homing magic and only attack when you can, this is a fight you really need to learn, don’t be surprised if it takes you a good few attempts to defeat him. Remember, you can always go off and level up a few times to make the fight more manageable. Defeat Aldrich, Devourer of Gods to unlock your Trophy.

Lord of Cinder: Lothric, Younger Prince
Defeat Lothric, Younger Prince, Lord of Cinder.
The penultimate boss in Dark Souls III and one of the most challenging ones. Ensure you bring your best gear including, if you can get it, the Havel’s Shield (dropped by Havel just out from the Archdragon Peak, Great Belfry bonfire). During the fight you will be hit pretty much constantly by fire based melee attacks, a transporting enemy that can devastate you with long range magic attacks or unleash combos that if you get caught up in will empty your health bar in a few hits.
You need to play very defensively here, you have access to shields in the game so use them to their fullest keeping a good eye on your stamina bar. Even if using shields isn’t your thing, I strongly recommend you use one here as you’ll need to be very skilled to successfully dodge all of his attacks. Once he’s down the real fight starts. You will now have to face both brothers at once, fortunately, they come as one so deal with them as one, even though they have separate health bars. The magic attacks are your biggest threat now so block them or dodge if you can, once Lorian’s health bar has been emptied, Lothric will revive him so get a good few hits in whilst he’s doing so. Once you have defeated them both, your Trophy will unlock.

Supreme Weapon Reinforcement
Reinforce any weapon to the highest level.
You will need to increase any standard weapon to +10, using titanite. Some weapons can be upgraded using Twinkling Titanite such as the Fume Knight Greatsword, these won’t count towards this trophy. Any standard weapon such as the Claymore, Club, Greataxe will be fine for this one. In order to reinforce a weapon, you will need various forms of titanite and souls, Andre the blacksmith, found in Firelink Shrine can reinforce your weapons, as long as you don’t attack him.
The titanite items you will need are:
- Titanite Shards: To take your weapon from 0 to +3 (found throughout the early game).
- Large Titanite Shards: To take your weapon from +4 to +6 (found throughout the middle of the game).
- Titanite Chunks: To take your weapon from +7 to +9 (found throughout the end game).
- Titanite Slab to take your weapon to +10.
The easiest Titanite Slab to acquire will be to defeat the 4 Lords of Cinder who are:
- The Abyss Watchers. Refer to Lords of Cinder: Abyss Watchers.
- Yhorm the Giant. Refer to Lord of Cinder: Yhorm the Giant.
- Aldrich, the Devourer of Gods. Refer to Lord of Cinder: Aldrich, Devourer of Gods.
- Lothric, Younger Prince. Refer to Lord of Cinder: Lothric, Younger Prince.
Then head to Firelink Shrine and place their cinders on their respective thrones to be able to purchase a Titanite Slab from the Shrine Maiden for 30,000 souls. As soon as you have reinforced your weapon to +10, your Trophy will then unlock.

Covenant: Warrior of Sunlight
Discover Warrior of Sunlight covenant.
You can access the Warrior of Sunlight covenant after you have made it to the Undead Settlement. Make your way out from the Undead Settlement bonfire, go through the building, to come outside near a lot of enemies and a large fire in the middle of the area. From here, stay left, following the path down, you will come to a door that leads to a room with a hole in the floor. Drop through the hole then collect the Warrior of Sunlight from the table. Doing so will allow you to join the Warrior of Sunlight covenant, unlocking your Trophy.

Covenant: Way of Blue
Discover Way of Blue covenant.
The easiest covenant to find in the game but a missable one as it’s hidden in plain sight essentially. Make your way through High Wall of Lothric until you come to where you would fight Vordt of the Boreal Valley. From his fog gate turn around and make your way up to the other end of this area where you will speak to Emma acquiring the Small Lothric Banner. Speak with her a few more times where she will give you the Way of the Blue for you to join the Way Of The Blue covenant, your Trophy will then unlock.

Covenant: Blue Sentinels
Discover Blue Sentinels covenant.
Proceed through the Road of Sacrifices to the Halfway Fortress bonfire, to the left of which is Anri of Astora and Horace the Hushed. Speak with Anri to acquire the Blue Sentinels, allowing you to join the Blue Sentinels covenant, unlocking your Trophy in the process.

Covenant: Blade of the Darkmoon
Discover Blade of the Darkmoon covenant.
You will need the Darkmoon Loyalty gesture before you can discover the Blade of Darkmoon covenant (see Master Of Expression, for information on how to acquire the Darkmoon Loyalty gesture). After you have acquired the Darkmoon Loyalty gesture make your way to the Irithyll of the Boreal Valley, Anor Londo bonfire. From the bonfire, go back on to the revolving staircase, sending it down one level staying on the same level as the contraption.
Once the spinning has stopped, walk over to the broken walkway where you will see a tower off in the distance. You will be able to walk on an invisible path over to this tower, ensuring you walk straight so as not to fall off. As soon as you are level with the balcony below you, roll forwards and light the Prison Tower bonfire, then go around the balcony to find Company Captain Yorshka sitting down. Speak with her to receive the Blade of the Darkmoon allowing you to join the Blade of the Darkmoon covenant, unlocking your Trophy in the process.

Covenant: Rosaria’s Fingers
Discover Rosaria’s Fingers covenant.
Firstly, proceed through the Cathedral of the Deep unlocking the shortcuts that lead back to the Cleansing Chapel bonfire. Once done, head through the left door, take another left and take the elevator up then head out the left side of the small room you’ll be in, go around to find a ladder. Climb the ladder, go to the top left corner to drop down onto a rooftop walkway, go up this, take a right at the top then an immediate left to come to some overhead joists. Careful up here as you can easily be knocked / fall off.
Make your way left then at the crossroads, take the next right, at the end you can roll down to your left to land on a small balcony, roll off the left side again to be on a small pathway. Run forward then take a right up the stairs, defeat all of the enemies here then off to the right you can open the doors. At the end of this room will be Rosaria, interact with her to receive the Rosaria’s Fingers, allowing you to join the Rosaria’s Fingers covenant unlocking your Trophy in the process.

Covenant: Mound-makers
Discover Mound-makers covenant.
Please Note: Ensure you go for this one before starting the Curse of the Rotted Greatwood boss fight as if the floor falls out in the fight, this covenant will then be missable until your next playthrough. Starting from the Undead Settlement, Undead Settlement bonfire. Head through the building until you come out near the large fire surrounded by a lot of enemies. Take a right across the bridge, before going into the stables, take a right up the hill (smash the boxes to get through). Deal with the Thralls on the way up the hill then go around the last building where you will find a caged NPC behind a building. Speak with it where you will be informed:
“Another nana disappeared, So the grandson carries a cage, He ever has his cage, and nana’s never coming back, so come into the cage, and become nana’s shade”.
It is referring to one of the Hollow Manservants that roam the area. This particular Hollow Manservant is found by going back around to the front of the building from the caged NPC, climbing the ladder then waiting on the right side of the roof for the Manservant to walk up to the right then back down the hill. You need to walk, not run, to the back of him where you can then examine the cage, your character will then climb into the cage and be transported to the Mound Makers. Wait for the cut scene to finish then speak with Holy Knight Hendrick where he will give you the Mound Makers allowing you to join the Mound Makers covenant. At this point, your Trophy will unlock.

Covenant: Watchdogs of Farron
Discover Watchdogs of Farron covenant.
Get to the Farron Keep, Keep Ruins bonfire, go down the slope, take a right and head over to the long ladder you will see next to 3 Rotten Slugs. Climb the ladder, take a right then go through into the room. In here you will find the Old Wolf of Farron, interact with the Old Wolf to be offered to join the Watchdogs of Farron covenant. Accept the offer to unlock your Trophy.

Covenant: Aldrich Faithful
Discover Aldrich Faithful covenant.
Defeat Pontiff Sullyvahn in the Irithyll of the Boreal Valley then head out towards Anor Londo, make your way through the Courtyard of Giants. When you get to the building on the far end, go over to the far left corner before going up the stairs. In this corner is an illusionary wall, hit it then make your way down the ladder, careful down here as there are 2 Sulyvahn’s Beasts. Lure them out one by one to make things a lot easier, if they both aggro then get back up the ladder and wait for a couple of minutes for them to reset. After you have dealt with both of the Sulyvahn’s Beasts, you can find Archdeacon McDonnell in the top left corner. Interact with him to receive the Aldrich Faithful, where your Trophy will unlock.

Untended Graves
Reach the Untended Graves.
Proceed through the game until you defeat the Dancer of the Boreal Valley (see Dancer Of The Boreal Valley, for information on this). Once she’s been defeated, place the basin to lower a ladder where you can now get through to Lothric Castle. When you have climbed the ladder, take a left then go down the elevator where you will come to the Consumed King’s Garden. Make your way through here to find and defeat Oceiros, the consumed King (see Oceiros, The Consumed King, for information on this). Once it’s been defeated, head to the back of the arena, break the illusionary wall, proceed through the area to the very back wall behind a chest. This is another illusionary wall. Break through the wall, go forward and drop down to come to the Untended Graves where your Trophy will unlock.

Archdragon Peak
Reach Archdragon Peak.
First up, defeat Oceiros in the Consumed King’s Garden (see Oceiros, the Consumed King, for information on this). Afterwards you can proceed back through into a laboratory where you will find the Path of the Dragon gesture on a corpse. Next, make your way to Irithyll Dungeon, once you’re down by the cells with all of the jailers, rather than taking a right to go to the Profaned Capital. Head left to come out side on a ledge (there is an elevator shortcut off to the right that will take you back near the start of Irithyll Dungeon). Equip and use the Path of the Dragon gesture, next to the NPC that holds the Dragon Torso Stone on the edge of the ledge, then wait roughly a minute. A cut-scene will ensue where you will be carried over to Archdragon Peak, head up the ramp you are at the bottom of where your Trophy will unlock.

Iudex Gundyr
Defeat Iudex Gundyr.
Iudex Gundyr is a compulsory boss. Get a few cheap shots in as soon as you have pulled the sword, then when he transforms, ensure you stay on his back left side, dodging back when he jumps in the air. If you’re struggling, choose the Knight class to have a much easier time of it, once he’s down your Trophy will unlock.

Vordt of the Boreal Valley
Defeat Vordt of the Boreal Valley.
Vordt is a compulsory boss in the game. Ensure you’re a decent level before going in to the fight as Vordt can hit pretty hard if you’re under prepared. Roll through the attacks as best as you can, avoiding getting Frostbitten, when he starts charging at you, roll towards him at the last second to avoid the attack. Once Vordt has been defeated, your Trophy will unlock.

Curse-rotted Greatwood
Defeat the Curse-rotted Greatwood.
The Curse-Rotted Greatwood is an optional boss that can be found in the Undead Settlement from the Dilapidated Bridge bonfire, go to the top right of the area. Once the fight starts, the only thing you can hurt on the tree is the white puss sacs and the white arm that comes out from…. where it comes out from. Take care of when it jumps in the air, avoid the diarrhoea as best as you can and keep attacking the puss sacs. Once you have defeated the Curse-Rotted Greatwood, your Trophy will unlock.

Crystal Sage
Defeat Crystal Sage.
Crystal Sage is a compulsory boss who is weak to every element except magic so use this to your advantage. During the fight Crystal Sage will spawn clones of himself that die in one hit, you’ll know they’re clones as rather than the usual purple magic, the clones will use standard blue magic, take them out one by one then focus back onto the Crystal Sage.
He has a low health pool, however, if you get mobbed you’ll be back at the bonfire very quickly so play defensively and cautiously, whittle the Sage’s health down, using the pillars as cover to heal / avoid the attacks. Once the Crystal Sage has been defeated, take care as his Homing Soulmass sorcery (5 purple orbs that surround him) can still hit you, inflicting damage. If this does kill you, as long as you killed the Crystal Sage before you died, you will still have won the fight, unlocking your Trophy in the process.

Deacons of the Deep
Defeat the Deacons of the Deep.
Another compulsory boss in Dark Souls 3 and one that shouldn’t be underestimated. the Deacons can be found in the Cathedral of the Deep and are needed to acquire the small doll in order to progress through the Irithyll of the Boreal Valley. The Deacons as individuals will die in one or two hits, however, given their numbers they can prove deadly if they all decide to attack you at once. The target you’re looking for is the blue Deacon with the red aura, hitting this one will reduce the boss’ health bar, the rest are just there to stand in the way.
Any attacks / spells / items that cover a good distance hurting multiple enemies at once will make this fight somewhat trivial. If, however, if they all raise their wands, run behind the large statue in the centre of the arena out of their line of sight as they will all cast powerful magic towards you which if it hits, you won’t survive long. After the Deacons of the Deep have been defeated, your Trophy will unlock.

High Lord Wolnir
Defeat High Lord Wolnir.
High lord Wolnir is a compulsory boss, can be found at the back of the Catacombs and is a unique fight. You will no doubt notice the large glowing golden bracelets on the High Lord, these are essentially critical points that when each one is broken it will remove one third of Wolnir’s health bar. You will also notice that the fight is fought on a hill that has light near the top and darkness near Wolnir, this darkness is an extremely potent poison fog that can kill you in seconds so stay above his position at all costs, aiming for the bracelets. He will use a swiping attack every so often which is easily blocked. Once High Lord Wolnir has been defeated, your Trophy will unlock.

Pontiff Sulyvahn
Defeat Pontiff Sulyvahn.
Pontiff Sulyvahn is a compulsory boss and one you will need to be seriously well equipped in order to handle. Sulyvahn is very fast, can close range, employs powerful magic, attacks with both a magic and a fire sword then when he’s down to roughly 50% health, he will bring a clone in to the fight as well, making this fight one of the most challenging in the game.
Fortunately, he is weak to Fire and lightning so make good use of those elements. He is also able to be parried whenever using a melee attack against you, ensure you riposte after the parry to inflict heavy damage. Try and ignore the clone as best you can as it is simply there to distract you from attacking Sulyvahn. Whilst the arena is quite large, if you try running around to much you may run out of stamina for when it counts. His attacks can inflict heavy stamina damage when you’re blocking leaving you staggered and defenceless for a few seconds which is deadly in this fight. Make good use of any Stamina regeneration equipment or materials to help throughout the fight. As soon as Ponitff Sulyvahn has been defeated, your Trophy will unlock.

Dancer of the Boreal Valley
Defeat Dancer of the Boreal Valley.
A compulsory boss that is the second most challenging boss in the game, second only to the Nameless King. You can fight the Dancer either near the start of the game by killing Emma (NPC who gives you the Small Lothric Banner needed to get to the Undead Settlement after fighting Vordt of the Boreal Valley). Which is really not recommended, otherwise you can face her after you have defeated 3 of the 4 Lords of Cinder. Either way, you’re in for a very tough fight here, the biggest problem here is her range, near enough any attack will take 2 rolls to get out of the way of which doubles the amount of stamina you’re going to be using.
You can use the pillars for cover, but stay don’t get to close as her attacks can still hit you, especially when she does her triple spin attack which if it gets you is deadly. A shield won’t do you a lot of favours here either as she can easily crush your stamina bar, staggering you, leaving you open for her grab attack. The second half of the fight is essentially the same as the first, except she gets faster and has 2 swords rather than one meaning a triple spin is now doubled. If you’re struggling, go off and level yourself up, then come back every so often and try her again. It is a very hard fight, so don’t be dissuaded if it takes you a lot of attempts to defeat her. Once you do managed to defeat the Dancer of the Boreal Valley, your Trophy will unlock.

Dragonslayer Armour
Defeat Dragonslayer Armour.
Dragonslayer Armour is a complusory boss that is found the other at the back of Lothric Castle. Another challenging fight but a manageable one, as long as the Pilgrim Butterflies aren’t attacking you to many times as their attacks can be deadly, even after the Dragonslayer has been defeated. Wear your best lightning resistant armour for the fight and bring a weapon with good range. Dragonslayer uses a series of attacks with his weapon and shield that can smash you through the railings along the edge of the arena.
You can run to the other end of the arena, always keeping an eye on the Pilgrim Butterflies in case they send rocks your way to heal / buff up. Staying on the Dragonslayers back as best as you can will increase your offensive opportunities, just don’t take your eye off the ball as he can easily swing around to attack you. Once you have dealt with the Dragonslayer the Pilgrim Butterflies will still be able to attack you as they fall out of the sky, however, your Trophy will unlock once the Dragonslayer Armour has been defeated.

Old Demon King
Defeat Old Demon King.
Old Demon King is an optional boss found in the Smouldering Lake. To get there, go through the Catacombs until you come to the rickety wooden bridge. Cross the bridge so you are on the opposite side to the Skeletons then hit the bridge whilst not standing on it. This will make a ladder you can take down, follow the path through the the Smouldering Lake, at the far end behind the Carthus Sandworm will be the Old Demon King’s fog gate.
Before you go through to fight him, take a right up the stairs to find a bonfire. The Old Demon King is nearly immune to and attacks with fire damage as you would expect given the fact he’s covered in flames. He can also use a lot of powerful AOE attacks as well as strikes and swipes with his claws / mace. The King doesn’t really have a lot of weaknesses so take your time with the fight playing cautiously and running away as soon as you see him raise his mace in front of him. Jumping over the fire AOE then getting a good portion of hits in on his back before he recovers. As soon as you have defeated the Old Demon King, your Trophy will unlock.

Oceiros, the Consumed King
Defeat Oceiros, the Consumed King.
Oceiros is found underneath Lothric Castle in the Consumed King’s Garden and is an optional boss, you will, however, need to defeat him to get to the Untended Graves and for 2 of the 3 ending trophies as well. Bring some magic resistant armour with you for this fight, as well as equipping yourself with offensive lightning. As long as you are good at rolling out of the way of attacks and staying on the back of enemies, you will likely have an easier time of it here.
If you try and tackle him head on you’ll be straight back to the bonfire. Playing cautiously will definitely help you here, stay back, allowing him to perform his combos, then when he’s trying to recover, get in there and give it to him, back off after 2 or 3 hits. Oceiros can use a nasty spin attack that if you get caught up in it, it’s unlikely you’ll survive. It is easily dodged though by rolling out of the way. Once you have defeated Oceiros, the Consumed King, your Trophy will unlock.

Champion Gundyr
Defeat Champion Gundyr.
Champion Gundyr is an optional boss who is fought in the Untended Graves (see Untended Graves for information on how to get there). Gundyr is a reworked version of the first boss in the game, Iudex Gundyr, except this time he’s done some training. You will be in for a very fast, melee based fight here, Gundyr can close distance on you very quickly and allows very little time to heal once he’s finished one combo before starting another.
His Halberd can hit very hard as does his roundhouse kick, but one of his more deadly attacks is his ability to pick you up with his Halberd and throw you off of the edge of the arena. Stay away from that side of the arena to avoid this attack. He is weak to lightning damage so bring a good amount of it with you, either miracles or items and as with most bosses, playing cautiously and defensively, not being overly aggressive will see you come away with the win soon enough. As soon as you have defeated Champion Gundyr, your Trophy will unlock.

Ancient Wyvern
Defeat Ancient Wyvern.
Ancient Wyvern is “fought” in Archdragon Peak (see Archdragon Peak, for information on how to get there) and isn’t really a boss you will fight as you will be able to one-shot kill the Ancient Wyvern. The boss here, isn’t the challenge, getting to it, however, can be. You’re going to need to run through an army of Serpant-Man enemies, all of which can be run pass if you’re quick enough and keep an eye on your stamina bar.
Crossing a narrow bridge, then climbing a ladder at the end then make your way around to a balcony where you will see the Ancient Wyvern below you. Equip any melee weapon, roll off of the balcony and press R1 to impale the Ancient Wyvern, one-shot killing it. As soon as the Ancient Wyvern has been defeated, your Trophy will unlock.

The Nameless King
Defeat Nameless King.
Nameless King is found in Archdragon Peak (see Archdragon Peak, for information on this) and is the toughest boss in the base game (the DLC stepped things up a lot). You will need to be a seriously high level with your best lightning defence armour, again, max it out along with your best weapons, and a shield that can tank 100% physical and a decent amount of lightning damage. Nameless King is weak to fire damage in the second half of the fight so make good use of the damage buff either through pyromancy or items. When the fight starts you will see the Nameless King come in on a Wyvern which can employ some very powerful high range fire damage as well as the King using riding the Wyvern into the air and slamming down on you causing heavy damage.
I found the best time to attack was when the Wyvern unleashes a stream of fire forward in an arc, run to the left of the screen to avoid the fire then sprint to the Wyvern. Get enough stamina to be able to attack a couple of times then get ready to play defensively again. Rinse and repeat until the Wyvern is down. Now the real fight starts. Nameless King has some very powerful combos that are lightning based, if you get to close he will use a nasty AOE, if you stay to far away he can close range with heavy damage, meaning there is no “safe way” of handling his majesty.
When he goes for his combos, dodge around them at the last second then take an opportunity to either attack or heal, you won’t have time for both before the next attack comes. Baiting his AOE is useful as long as you can quick roll, roll out of range of it, then either heal or roll back in to him and get a hit in. Play very defensively here, dodging rather than blocking as he can smash your guard in 2 or three hits of a 5 hit combo leaving you open to take the last 2 blows. If he can’t hit you, he can’t hurt you. Whittle his health down whilst not being greedy with your attacks where you will eventually defeat him, unlocking your Trophy in the process. Good luck!

Enkindle
Light a bonfire flame for the first time.
The first bonfire you come to is near enough at the start of the game and it’s pretty hard to miss. Light the bonfire to unlock your Trophy.

Embrace the Flame
Become a Host of Embers for the first time.
Defeat the first boss Iudex Gundyr, see (Iudex Gundyr for information on this). Where you will then become a host of embers, unlocking your Trophy.
That’s the Dark Souls III Trophy Guide complete I hope it helps you through the game.
