Here is the Dark Souls Remastered Prayer Of A Maiden Trophy Guide. Miracles are a very good way of either healing or using devastatingly powerful lightning magic against your foes. In order to cast a miracle, you will need to have a Talisman and have levelled your Faith stat to the required level in order to be able to use the miracle for the given amount of times each one has. In total, there are 23 miracles to collect as you make your way through the game. This is by far the most awkward / in-depth of the 3 types of magic you will need to acquire throughout the game (sorceries, pyromancies, miracles). If you miss just one step along the way, you will have to start the game again, either on a fresh save or ng+. Here I’ll list the NPCs in the order you can find them and how to complete the respective portions of their side quests needed to be able to purchase the relevant miracles.

Oswald of Carim

Oswald Of Carim is an enigmatic NPC you can find at the base of the Undead Parish tower once you have rung the first bell (after the Bell Gargoyle fight). Oswald only has one miracle, however, it is the most expensive to purchase out of the list at a cracking 40,000 souls.

Siegmeyer of Catarina

You will need to be at Sen’s Fortress, speak to him before ringing both bells. Then go off and ring both of the bells (after Bell Gargoyle boss in the Undead Parish and Blighttown after defeating Chaos Witch Queelag), thus opening the gate barring your entry to Sen’s Fortress.roceed through the Fortress, to find Siegmeyer blocked and frustrated by the ever occurring metal boulders. Proceed to the top of the Fortress, turn the mechanism to make the boulders go a different route. After this, continue through to Anor Londo, when you are making your way through the area with the Silver Knights. Siegmeyer, will be outside of the large room that has 3 Silver Knights inside, defeat all 3 Silver Knights then speak to Siegmeyer which will then see him relocate to Firelink Shrine. Once he has done this, you will then receive his miracle after speaking with him at Firelink Shrine.

Rhea of Thorolund

Rhea Of Thorolund is essentially the Mother of Miracles in the game and has a heavy entourage with her. Rhea appears at Firelink Shrine after you defeat the Capra Demon. Speak with her and her bodyguards exhausting all of their dialogue where they will then move to the Catacombs so head through the Catacombs yourself and take down Pinwheel which will open the way to the Tomb of the Giants, an end game areas with some very powerful enemies.

Shortly into the Tomb of the Giants you will find Patches the Hyena, an NPC who will kick you down into a hole where you will find Rhea slumped to the floor. Her 2 bodyguards have turned Hollow and therefore hostile so take down them down and speak with Rhea to receive the Replenishment Miracle. She will the go to Firelink Shrine allowing you to purchase her remaining miracles. The remaining miracles are obtained as you make your way through the world or by performing certain actions in various covenants, the covenants you will need to join and how to do so are:

Warrior of Sunlight Covenant

To join this covenant, you will need to have a Faith stat of at least 25, once you have this, head over to the Hellkite Bridge (where the Hellkite Dragon is, at the end of the bridge where the bonfire is, take a right). Up the stairs to find a broken statue, interact with this statue to join the Warrior of Sunlight Covenant.

Gravelord Servant Covenant

In order to join the covenant, you will need an Eye of Death (3 of which can be found behind the Titanite Demon) and to get through the Catacombs until you are in the long corridor with the stone coffins lining the walls. Here will be a Titanite Demon (behind of which are your Eye Of Death x3) in this room. You will see one stone coffin protruding out from the rest, interact with this coffin and select the option “Nestle Into It“. After the cutscene, you will need to go the large coffin and pledge your allegiance to Gravelord Nito. Please Note: this is only possible providing you haven’t already defeated Gravelord Nito, if you have then you can retry on subsequent playthroughs.

Blade of the Dark Moon Covenant

In order to join this covenant, you must acquire the Darkmoon Seance Ring from the Catacombs (from the second bonfire, head across the bridge, go through the area with the smashable wall, drop down and continue forward to the end of the passageway where you will find a coffin, inside of which is the Darkmoon Seance Ring. From here, proceed to the Dark Sun Gwyndolin area (lower the central spiral in Anor Londo to its lowest level then proceed down). Equip the Darkmoon Seance Ring, !!DO NOT!! go through the fog gate as this will start the fight and you’ll be unable to join the covenant until your next playthrough. Instead, select the kneel option when you’re able to, then accept and join the covenant.

Below, I will list off all 23 miracles starting with the NPCs, then the world drops and finishing with the covenants. I will also list off the required stats you will need to use the miracle, you can acquire all of these miracles with any stats.

Oswald of Carim

Karmic Justice: 40,000 souls
20 Faith.

Seigmeyer of Catarina

Emit Force.
18 Faith.
The Emit Force miracle is gifted to you upon Seigmeyer returning to Firelink Shrine, speak with him to receive the miracle.

Rhea of Thorolund

Seek Guidance: 500 souls.
12 Faith.
Heal: 1,000 souls.
12 Faith.
Great Heal: 1,000 souls.
24 Faith.
Homeward: 1,000 souls.
18 Faith.
Force: 1,000 souls.
12 Faith.
Great Heal Excerpt: 2,000 souls.

Rhea will gift you this miracle after you have defeated her 2 hollow bodyguards in the Tomb of Giants. Speak to Rhea to receive the Replenishment miracle (see Rhea Of Thorolund above for more information on this).

World Loot

Tranquil Walk of Peace
The Catacombs, Corpse.
18 Faith.
Continue through the Catacombs to the second bonfire, from here go across the bridge, go down the broken stairs into the first room on the right. At the back of the wall, smash the loose bricks, drop down to the lower level, then proceed through the crypt. Around halfway up this corridor, there will be another smashable wall, follow the slope up, continue up through the path to find a ladder on the right. Go pass the 2 statues with spikes then around to the right will be the Tranquil Walk of Peace miracle on a corpse.
Great Magic Barrier
Ash Lake, Corpse.
24 Faith.
To enter Ash Lake, you need to go through the game to Blighttown, from the bonfire in the swamp, head out left, to find a sloped tree trunk. Go through both illusionary walls to come to the Great Hollow location, descend all the way through the Great Hollow, where you will come to Ash Lake. From the bonfire, head forward, taking care of the Hydra’s in the area, all the way to the first large tree trunk, behind this trunk, go up the sloped tree branch. Around halfway across this branch, you will need to drop off to your right, there will be a ledge just sticking out far enough for you to land on, if you roll onto this ledge, you will fall off and die. Head through the hollowed tree trunk and onto the platform, upon which will be the Great Magic Barrier miracle on a corpse.
Vow of Silence
Painted World of Ariamis, Corpse.
30 Faith.
For this miracle you need to be in the Painted World of Ariamis, to do this, get to Anor Londo, on the lower level of the room with the Painted Guardians, at the back is a large painting on the wall. To access Ariamis, you will need have acquired the Peculiar Doll (revisit Undead Asylum, go to Snuggly’s nest and cull up like a ball, then backtrack to your cell to find the Peculiar Doll, careful of the Black Knight). Once in the Painted World of Ariamis, continue through the level until you find the Phalanx enemy, from here, head over to the right and go through the door. You will need the Annex Key to open this door (in the Underground Sewers of Ariamis, head to through the corridors to find a dead end which is an illusionary wall, behind this wall is the Annex Key). Head all the way up to the top of the area, just above where the hole in the floor is, will be a corpse, holding the Vow of Silence miracle.
Sunlight Blade
Anor Londo, Chest.
50 Faith.
You will first need to defeat Dark Sun Gwyndolin (ensure you have levelled up his covenant before fighting him), whom you can find by lowering the central platform to its lowest setting then going down the stairs. Once Gwyndolin has been defeated, you can then proceed to the end of the area, where you will find a chest in the centre of the area against the large platform, this chest contains the Sunlight Blade miracle.
Soothing Sunlight
Dukes Archives, Prison Cells bonfire, Picasa Enemy.
48 Faith.
Once you have been placed in and escaped from the prison cell in the Duke’s Archives after having lost the un-winnable fight against Seath the Scaleless. Make your way down to the very bottom of the prison section to find 2 Picasas (blue tentacle enemies). Killing both of these enemies will reward you with both the Soothing Sunlight and Bountiful Sunlight (below) miracle.
Bountiful Sunlight
Dukes Archives, Prison Cells bonfire, Picasa Enemy.
36 Faith.
As with the Soothing Sunlight miracle above, killing one of these Picasa will drop the Bountiful Sunlight miracle.

Covenant Miracles

Lightning Spear
Warrior of Sunlight Covenant, Hellkite Bridge.
20 Faith.
Once you have joined the Warrior of Sunlight Covenant, you will automatically receive the Lightning Spear miracle.
Great Lightning Spear
Warrior Of Sunlight Covenant, Hellkite Bridge.
30 Faith.
You will need to Rank up in the Covenant to receive this miracle, to do so you will need to offer 10 Sunlight medals to the covenant statue. You can acquire Sunlight Medals through various methods, however, for me the easiest, fastest way by far, which also doesn’t require an online connection is to farm the Chaos Bugs in Lost Izalith. The easiest way to get to them is to go to the Daughter of Chaos bonfire, head through the illusionary wall, step on the elevator, go down the stairs, continue forward, take your first left, then down on the lower level of this area will be several Chaos Bugs. Ensure you have the Covetous Gold Serpent Ring equipped to increase the drop rate of the Sunlight Medals. Once you have 10 Sunlight Medals, head back to the Sunlight statue and offer the 10 Sunlight Medals one by one. After you have offered the 10th medal, you will then receive the Great Lighting Spear miracle.
Sunlight Spear
Warrior Of Sunlight Covenant, Hellkite Bridge.
50 Faith.
This is one of the most powerful miracles in the game and as such you won’t be able to access it until at least ng+. Once you have made your way through one entire playthrough of the game, you will, at the end defeat Gwyn, Lord of Cinder. You need to offer Gwyns’ Soul to the Warrior of Sunlight Covenant at which point you will be gifted the Sunlight Spear miracle.
Gravelord Sword Dance
Gravelord Servant Covenant, The Catacombs.
0 Faith (None required).
As soon as you have successfully joined the Gravelord Servant covenant (details above), you will receive the Gravelord Sword Dance miracle.
Gravelord Greatsword Dance
Gravelord Servant Covenant, The Catacombs.
0 Faith.
You will need to raise your allegiance to the Gravelord Servant covenant, to do so you will need to offer 10 Eye of Death to the Gravelord, Nito. The easiest way to acquire an Eye of Death is to farm the Basilisks, which you can find in The Depths, The Great Hollow and Ash Lake, once you have 10 Eye of Death. Return to the coffin in the Catacombs to be able to stand before Gravelord Nito, offer the Eye of Death 1 by 1 until you have offered 10, at which point, you will receive the Gravelord Greatsword Dance miracle.
Darkmoon Blade
Blade Of The Dark Moon Covenant, Anor Londo.
30 Faith.
You will need to raise your allegiance to the Blade of the Dark Moon covenant once to acquire this miracle. To do so, you will need to offer 10 Souvenir of Reprisal to the covenant (DO NOT go through the fog gate at any point to fight Dark Sun Gwyndolin as this will kick you from the covenant immediately). There are various ways of obtaining the Souvenir of Reprisal, however, the easiest way (which also doesn’t require pvp nor an online connection), is to farm the Crow Demons in the Painted World of Ariamis. Ensure you have the Covetous Gold Serpent ring equipped to increase the drop rate, once you have collected 10 Souvenir of Reprisal, head back to Anor Londo, offer them 1 by 1 to the Blade of the Darkmoon Covenant. After you have handed over 10, you will receive the Darkmoon Blade miracle.
