Here is the Dead Island 2 Fool’s Gold lost and found quest guide which will help you find Dante and Randy’s stashed loot which is a Legendary blade that excels in inflicting Bled damage on any zombies unfortunate enough to have any blood left in their bodies. I recommend going through the Dead Island 2 lost and found quests once you have completed the main story with Fool’s Gold being no different apart from the fact you will be able to access it once you have taken down Butcho in the main story. Beginning the Fool’s Gold lost and found quest, doesn’t mean you will be powerful enough to complete it though even if your gear is fully repaired and matched to your level as the final part of this side quest sees you mobbed by a lot of zombies including Crushers, Butchers and a lot more besides.

Quest giver: Once you have taken Butcho the Clown down, head back to the lifeguard tower where you should see Dante, a Crusher pacing around. Take Dante down to begin the Fool’s Guide lost and found quest.
Rewards: 2,000 XP, Super Melee Liquidator Mod, Blood Rage weapon (Legendary).
Take Dante down who is usually pacing around the car with the surfboard on underneath the safe zone or nearby and collect the A Totally Legit Letter note which will also give you Randy’s Locker Key.

Head out from the car underneath the safe zone, take a right then loot Randy’s locker which will task you with going to both Dante and Randy’s meet up points in The Pier.

Dante’s area is the closest so we’ll go there first. Turn around from Randy’s locker, go outside, take a left and head North West pass the parade of shops to the alley on the right where you can collect the Flaws In The Plan note whilst take of the zombies that will subsequently ambush you.

Next we need to find Randy’s note which is at the far end of what’s left of The Pier (the Pier fell away after you took down Butcho) and it will also be behind a powerful Voltaic Screamer with a lot of water lying around so grab a Firearm and take it down at range as best as you can. With the Voltaic Screamer down, go left and collect the Meeting Of The Minds collectible which will then give you the code required to access the safe.

Head back to the lifeguard tower and go through the walkway on the right side of the tower where you will be ambushed by a heavy amount of zombies. Take them all down then loot the safe when prompted to conclude the lost and found quest obtaining the very powerful Blood Rage blade in the process.
