Here is the Dead Island 2 Gore Horse guide which will unlock once you have helped an artist complete the greatest and grisliest piece of art.
The artist in question is Francesca who can be found in Northern Beverly Hills after you have progressed through the story to Venice Beach and have spoken to Patton who is shoulder deep in a Crusher when you find him.
Upon speaking with Francesca she will reveal herself to be an artist who is going to make a sculpture of sorts using the Undead as her literal canvas and requires you to collect different zombie parts and return them to her for various rewards. If you leave this one until after you have completed the main game you will more than likely have enough zombie parts to complete Francesca’s questline or you will be close if you aren’t there yet.
Any zombie parts which drop in Dead Island 2 are shown as yellow biohazard bags regardless of what their contents might be so some Infected Flesh will look the same as a Blade Arm or a Mutated Heart. To see which zombie parts you have collected and how many of them you have in your inventory go: Player Menu> Inventory> Parts then scroll down through any part until you find the one(s) you need.
Chances are you will have enough if you leave this questline as one of your last in the game. Zombie parts will look like this when they drop from zombies throughout Hell-A:
The side quests Francesca will send you on can, after completing the first one be found on the notice board to the left of her bucket where you will be depositing the parts when you have enough. If there isn’t a note you can collect then fast travel a few times and try the notice board again. It seems you need to wait about an in game day for the notice board to spawn the next quest so fast travel to night time then fast travel back to day time which should count as a day having passed or try again later.
Either way, you will need to work your way through 7 side quests for Francesca which are as follows:
Body Art: The Visionary
Reward: 1,000 XP.
Body Art: The Visionary will be the first side quest you can do for Francesca and it requires you to collect 10 Infected Flesh which is the most common zombie part to drop throughout Dead Island 2 so it should be fairly easy to come by and it drops from most zombies especially Runners and Walkers.
A good place to farm Infected Flesh other than just by playing the game is to drop an explosive next to the riot truck outside of Francesca’s gate where you will be ambushed by a lot of zombies, any of whom have a chance of dropping Infected Flesh. Once you have 10 Infected Flesh, return to Francesca and interact with her bucket to drop the Infected Flesh off satisfying the requirements for this side quest.
Body Art: Heft
Rewards: 1,500 XP, Blockbuster skill card (Survivor deck).
Body Art: Heft will be available at Francesca’s notice board upon completing Body Art: The Visionary and requires you to collect and return 5 oversized arm bones which have a chance to drop from Crushers and or Mutators, however, as Crushers are a lot easier to take down and they are a lot more frequent, they should be your target.
Open your map in any zone and search for Crusher hotspots with Venice Beach being the best location although, for me, I went to the Crusher hotspot in Beverly Hills.
Oversized arm bones have a chance to drop from both Crushers and Inferno Crushers and you should have plenty of them by the time you finish the main game but just in case, go and collect a few more if you’re running short.
You need 5 oversized arm bones in total, which, once collected can be dropped off at Francesca’s bucket.
Body Art: Moist
Reward: 2,000 XP.
Collect the Chthonic Ichor note from the notice board once it appears which will task you with collecting Chthonic Ichor which have a chance of dropping from Slobbers either regular or Putrefied.
There are 2 Slobber hotspots in Beverly Hills which you can work you way between, one in central Beverly Hills and one to the North East. Chthonic Ichor seems to have a fairly low chance of dropping so this might take a good few attempts before you get the 5 required.
Once you do have the 5 Chthonic Ichor, drop them in Francesca’s bucket to conclude the side quest.
Body Art: Uproar
Reward: 2,500 XP.
Collect the Infected Spines note from the notice board when it becomes available which will task you with collecting 5 Infected Spines which can drop from either Screamers, Voltaic Screamers or Mutators.
Screamers are a lot more common and easier deal with than Mutators so we’ll focus on Screamers for this one and with their being a Screamer hotspot in South West Beverly Hills you shouldn’t have that many difficulties acquiring the 5 infected spines.
After you have collected 5 infected spines, which, again, you should easily have by the time you complete the main game, return to Francesca’s house and dump the spines in her bucket.
Body Art: Vigor
Reward: 3,000 XP.
Return to Francesca’s when this quest becomes available and collect the Blade Arms note from the notice board which tasks you with collecting 3 Blade Arms which drop from either Butchers or Mutators.
Butchers seem to have a much greater chance to drop Blade Arms compared to Mutators so we’ll focus on them for the time being. Fast travel down in to the Metro if you are far enough through the game or the Pier if you’re not. Either way, head to a Butcher hotspot and take down Butchers until you have at least 3 Blade Arms.
Return to Francesca’s with the Blade Arms and drop them in her bucket to complete the side quest.
Body Art: Dread
Reward: 4,000 XP.
Collect the Mutator Hearts note from the notice board when it becomes available then get yourself in to a Mutator hotspot one of which can be found in South East Beverly Hills and find a Walker who has their top half out with a red glow pulsating around them. Wait for the Walker to turn in to a Mutator which will be easier if you kick it about or give it a gentle tap round the skull (don’t kill it) where it will then transform in to a Mutator.
Killing the Mutator has an average chance of dropping Mutated Hearts so this one might take you a while to get or you should easily have 3 Mutated Hearts by the end of the game.
Either way, once you have at least 3 Mutated Hearts, drop them in to Francesca’s bucket.
Body Art: Unveiling
Rewards: 1,500 XP, Brutalizer Sword (Legendary).
Head back to Francesca’s after fast travelling to one or 2 different locations then follow the blood smear out to the back of her house where you can then speak with Francesca concluding her questline in the process.
