I recommend going through the Dead Island 2 side quests once you have completed the main game as some of the side quests, including More Than The Badge are locked behind story progression. You will also acquire a good number of powerful weapons near the end of the game which will help you through some of the tougher side quests in the game.

Speak to Jimmy after Dr Reuben and Tisha go AWOL who will inform you some thieves have stolen food as well as the Manager’s card which is the only thing that can stop the fire alarm which will sound shortly bringing a heavy enclave of zombies to the Hotel.
Head out taking down anything in your way and run across to the alley following the marker. At the end of the alley on the left in an alcove will be a poster referring to Jimmy as a “dickhead” you will need to interact with summoning several zombies, including a Screamer, Sasha who should be your main focus in the fight.
Once Sasha is down collect the “The Badge” Poster then follow the marker to the MegaPark and clear out the next wave of zombies following the blood trail, footprints and Posters to the van you can use to get on the roof of the small building.
Take out the zombies up here then collect the Note to Jimmy in between the air conditioning units where you can then run to the large open container following the side quest marker to come to be Butcher named Zack you need to take down allowing you to then collect the Manager’s Pass.
Run back to the Serling Hotel which will now have the alarm going off and get ready for a fight against a lot of zombies and a Firestorm Slobber, which, once defeated, will enable you to hand the Manager’s Pass to Ava through the lowered shutter.
Head upstairs using the stairs at the back left of the foyer area and take out everything including the next Firestorm Slobber taking care to avoid the heavy number of explosive barrels and oil slicks in the local area.
Once the Firestorm Slobber is down, mop up any remaining zombies then head back to Jimmy in the safe area on the upper level to conclude the side quest.
