The Death of the Party side quest can be found in Bel-Air just outside Emma’s house and is started once you interact with the intercom on the corner of Access Rd 782 and Access Rd 781 and requires you to help Curtis Sinclair clear his house and come down the stairs.

Location: Bel-Air.
Rewards: 1,000 XP, Golf Club.
Starting off, interact with the intercom then head through and clear out the zombies in the courtyard then speak with Curtis Sinclair who will be above you on the balcony.
Buy Dead Island 2: PlayStation, Xbox. (Affiliate Links).
From here, head down the stairs and open the door to the maintenance shed taking care of the zombie that ambushes you and grab the jerry can to the right of the door.
Throw the jerry can at the 2 cables on the floor where the water will create a circuit restoring power to the house.
Go back to the main house then round to the front clearing the zombies as you go and head through to the Foyer where Curtis will eventually make his way down the stairs as you clear the zombies.
Wait for Curtis to finally take a seat in his chair where the side quest will then complete.
