Dead Nation Apocalypse Edition Mission 2, Downtown Loot

Here we will go over the Dead Nation Apocalypse Edition Mission 2, Downtown loot which is part of the King of Looters trophy and requires you to collect every piece of loot from a mission including looting every gold chest, small box, car boot and vending machine whilst also fending off the Zombie Hordes and Monsters that stand in your way.

In Mission 2, Downtown there will be 81 pieces of Loot for you to find, you will also need to collect or smash any Health Packs which drop from Zombies. If you are at full health, Melee the Health Packs to receive some Gold instead. If you miss any piece of loot in Downtown you will need to go all the way back through the mission and collect it all again so make sure you read the guide before advancing to much to save yourself some hassle.

You also need to ensure you loot the car boots before destroying the cars and be aware that the AOE explosion can easily trigger other cars to explode so carefully take down any Zombies in the local area aiming away from the cars if you can to avoid hitting them. If you do destroy a car, try and grab the loot from it and surrounding vehicles quickly. The 81 pieces of Loot you can find throughout Mission 2, Downtown are:

1. Open the car boot on the left side of the starting area.
   Loot: Gold.
2. Open the car boot in the same area.
   Loot: Gold.
3. Open the 3rd car boot in the same area.
   Loot: Gold.
4. Open the fourth car boot in the same area.
   Loot: Gold.
5. Open the car boot further up the street in the same area.
   Loot: Gold.
6. Smash the vending machine on the left side of the area next to the car ensuring you smash the Health Pack if you’re at full health.
   Loot Health / Gold.
7. Open the car boot in the same area.
   Loot: Gold.
8. Open the car boot in the same area just behind the previous car.
   Loot: Gold.
9. Open the small box on the left side behind the bus.
   Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
10. Open the small box next to the first one in the same area.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
11. Go to the right side of the area then open the car boot.
    Loot: Gold.
12. Open the car boot in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
13. Open the next car boot in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
14. Open the car boot just a bit further up from the previous car in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
15. Open the car boot to the the left of the previous car in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
16. Go to the top right corner of the same area next to a Runner will be a small box you can open.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
17. Go back to the road in the same area and smash the vending machine against the left wall.
    Loot: Health / Gold.
18. Open the car boot of the car in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
19. Go slightly further down the street and open the next car boot.
    Loot: Gold.
20. Go to the Bombie and defeat it on the right side then go behind the fence in the bottom right corner near where the Bombie was eating, tuck down into the corner and hit the loot box hiding there.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
21. Enter the checkpoint then open the car boot on the right side.
    Loot: Gold.
22. Open the 2nd car boot in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
23. In the next section move quick to the cars and don’t hit the button yet. So to start off with, open the blue car boot in front of the checkpoint exit.
    Loot: Gold.
24. Open the car boot in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
25. Open the next car boot on the right side of the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
26. Open the 3rd car boot in the central part of the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
27. Collect the Ammunition in the blue box just to the South West of the central car inside the smashed white structure.
    Loot: Ammunition.
28. Hit the vending machine on the left side of the same area.
    Loot: Health / Gold.
29. Hit the vending machine on the back wall of the same area.
    Loot: Health / Gold.
30. Hit the button, clear the Zombies then cross the bridge and open the car boot on the left side.
    Loot: Gold.
31. Go to the far right side of the same area going back on yourself and open the small box under the red awning.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
32. Go through the gat to where a Tank will be on the left side, go around behind the Tank and open the small box that is under the awning. You won’t be able to see it so melee around the edge of of the building until you get the Gold.
    Loot: Gold.
33. Go right taking out the Zombies then stay at the top of the screen to be in a walkway behind a chain link fence. Go to the far right side and open the small box.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
34. Open the small box next to the previous small box you opened.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
35. Go through the checkpoint then stay on the right side aiming left so you don’t hit the car in the top right of the area whose boot you need to open.
    Loot: Gold.
36. Go to the bottom right of the area then dash onto the wooden ramp on the right side of the area but on the left side of the building then go up to the roof and loot the small box on the AC unit.
37. Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
38. Open the next small box on the roof in the same area.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
39. Open the third small box on the roof in the same area.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
40. Finally, go to the far right side of the roof and open the gold chest.
    Loot: ExoGear #2 Legs Armour.
41. Head back down to the street then open the boot of the car in the middle of the road.
    Loot: Gold.
42. Go to the right of the previous car then hit the vending machine before going through the blue panel barrier.
    Loot: Health / Gold.
43. Head pass the blue panel barrier then go left and open the car boot on the left side.
    Loot: Gold.
44. Go through the cut out in the left wall just pass the car to come to an open area then loot the gold chest on your right against the wall.
    Loot: ExoGear #2 Torso Armour.
45. Open the boot of the car inside the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
46. Open the boot of the car parked next to the previous car in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
47. Open the small box against the left building just down from the other car in the same area.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
48. Open the small box next to the previous small box in the same area.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
49. Hit the vending machine on the wall opposite the 2 small boxes before exiting out back to the main street.
    Loot: Health / Gold.
50. Go up the street and open the boot of the car.
    Loot: Gold.
51. Go right in the same area and open the boot of the car.
    Loot: Gold.
52. Open the boot of the next car in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
53. Open the boot of the other car in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
54. Open the boot of the car over to the left of the same area BEFORE going into the checkpoint.
    Loot: Gold.
55. Open the car boot on the right side of the checkpoint BEFORE leaving the safety of the gates.
    Loot: Gold.
56. Go through the checkpoint gate then open the car boot on the right side.
    Loot: Gold.
57. Open the car boot just above the previous car in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
58. On the left side of the street in the same area you can open another car boot.
    Loot: Gold.
59. Go forward up the street then stay right and open the car boot.
    Loot: Gold.
60. Open the car boot just up from the previous car in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
61. Open the small box against the right building just before getting to the car in the same area.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
62. Open the car boot in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
63. Go to the bottom right corner next to the green barricade behind the car and open the small box there.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
64. Head up slightly and open the car boot in the same area taking care your shots don’t explode the car before you get there.
    Loot: Gold.
65. Go to the bottom left of the same area and hit the vending machine against the left building.
    Loot: Health / Gold.
66. Go up slightly in the same area and open the car boot.
    Loot: Gold.
67. Open the car boot next to the previous car in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
68. Go up slightly from the previous 2 cars and open the car boot.
    Loot: Gold.
69. Go left and open the Police car boot.
    Loot: Gold.
70. Go up above the previous Police car and open the next Police car boot.
    Loot: Gold.
71. Head to the top of the screen and go through the gate into a small garden area and open the small box in the top left corner of the gardens.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
72. Open the small box next to the previous small box in the same area.
    Loot: Multiplier / Gold.
73. Open the gold chest on the top right side of the same area.
    Loot: ExoGear #2 Arms Armour.
74. Come out of the gardens and go right where you can hit the vending machine.
    Loot: Health / Gold.
75. Head left staying against the bottom of the screen and loot open the Police car boot.
    Loot: Gold.
76. Go slightly above the previous Police car and open the next Police car boot.
    Loot: Gold.
77. Head to the top of the area and open the Police car boot against the barrier.
    Loot: Gold.
78. Open the Police car boot on the far right side of the area BEFORE going through the final gate.
    Loot: Gold.
79. Now you need to be careful here. When you go through the final barrier, ensure you walk rather than run so you don’t accidentally hit the ending then go to to your left and carefully open the Police car boot.
    Loot: Gold.
80. Go right and open the first of 3 Police car boots, this one is the one closest to the barrier.
    Loot: Gold.
81. Open the next Police car boot just up from the previous one in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.
82. Open the third Police car boot in the row in the same area.
    Loot: Gold.

You are now free to step on the finishing zone and conclude the Mission 2, Downtown.
