Dying Light 2 Stay Human release date confirmed

Thanks to a recent showcase from Dying Light 2s’ developers Techland, we now have a lot of information about the upcoming Zombie apocalypse survival, parkour action adventure sequel to the master piece that was Dying Light. Chief amongst is the release date which Techland have confirmed as 7-Dec-2021 (all being well of course).

Dying Light 2 is set 15 years after the first game in the fictional city of Harran and this time round the world is truly apocalyptic and you will feel the fact as you make your way around that the end is near as resources are very scarce and the monsters are more intelligent, faster, deadlier and stronger than before. In Dying Light 2 you play as Aiden Caldwell who teams up with the Nightriders in a bid to survive, fortunately, Aiden is a parkour expert who can get around the city at breath-taking speeds to get away from the monsters when there’s to many to take down at once.

There is a lot more verticality in Dying Light 2 than the first entry which was no slouch in the design department. If dealing with the monsters that have ravaged the city aren’t enough, you’re also going to have to deal with outlaws and bandits as you try and work your way into the factions that occupy the city. Then there’s the day / night cycle which Dying Light did beautifully. Dying Light 2 has taken the originals ideas and gone all out with it. During the day you will take down monsters and bandits whereas at night time the real threats awake and aim to hunt you down where you’re only safe when standing under UV light. The one weapon you have against these overpowered monstrosities. As the game says, Good Night and Good Luck.
