Elden Ring Boss Hub

This Guide is a work in progress…

Welcome to the Elden Ring Boss Hub. In this guide we will show you how to find and defeat every boss in Elden Ring of which there are more bosses than all 3 Dark Souls put together. A boss in Elden Ring is defined by having their health bar displayed at the bottom of the screen and as such NPC encounters (Red Phantoms) and tough unique enemies won’t be included.

I recommend starting the game with whichever character suits your preferred playstyle. If you’re a fan of fast paced melee combat utilising dodges and quick attacks then start as the Warrior. If you’re more of a magic based player then choose the Astrologer or for a Knight with a sword and shield go for the Vagabond. You can build your character out in the world however you see fit by using Runes at a site of grace to level up once you have met with Melina at the 3rd Site of Grace.

Click the link to go to the Elden Ring Classes where you can have a good look at all 10 starting classes before going into the game. Some of the bosses are incredibly challenging and will require you to level up significantly (100+) in order to take them down. There are bosses of every variety Elden Ring including mobs, hard hitting Knight’s on horseback and spectral beings to monstrosities only found in these types of games.

The first boss you encounter, the Grafted Scion is designed to kill you and send you to the tutorial so don’t worry when it does so. As this boss is nigh impossible to defeat at this point don’t worry to much. You can come back later and take it down when you’re much more powerful. In order to have an easier time taking down certain bosses you should fight them whilst riding Torrent which can make fights against other mounted bosses and Dragon’s a lot easier.

Whilst Torrent isn’t available for every encounter I recommend you use her where you can to give yourself an advantage and if nothing else to be able to run away if you come across a boss that is just to tough for you at that given stage of your playthrough. If you are struggling to a boss then go off and level yourself up some more (check out our Elden Ring passive Rune farming guide for an easy 250,000 Runes per hour).

You can find the bosses in the following categories:

All Elden Ring bosses, their locations and their rewards you get for defeating them are as follows:

Elden Ring Story Bosses

There are 12 story bosses to take down throughout Elden Ring and every one of them are uniquely challenging in their own way. You can level yourself up as much as you need to in order to defeat the bosses which does make them more manageable.

Elden Ring Optional Bosses

There are a lot of optional bosses in Elden Ring some of which are fairly simple to take down whilst others will go down in history as being some of the hardest bosses ever faced in a video game, souls like or otherwise.
