The Grave Warden Duelist is a heavy hitting melee based fighter who can hit hard and deliver powerful guard breaking combos.
There are 2 ways you can get to the Murkwater Catacombs with the easiest way being to stay on the cliffs above the river then jump down the Spiritspring, take a right then go in to the Catacombs.
Alternatively you can go up through the river from the lake where you will then be invaded and are unable to run away on Torrent.
Either way, once in the catacombs, light the Site of Grace and I recommend having a shield as the Imps down here hit hard and cause bleed damage.
Go straight through to the back room being careful not to activate the floor traps which will send a volley of flaming arrows towards you, take out the Imps then pull the lever to open the door to the boss room.
Come back from the level not stepping on the traps take a left then proceed through to the boss fog wall (replenish your flasks if you need to then run for the fog wall).
The Grave Warden Duelist can and will hit hard with a series of hammer slams, spins and combos whilst buffed to increase his power meaning that tanking hits isn’t advisable.
Ranged / Mage builds should utilise the arena staying away at all costs where melee builds should dodge then get a guard counter on the final hit of the combo as you will struggle to out poise this boss.
Ensure you make good use of summons and manage your flasks and stamina meter then plug away until he’s downed where strength builds will be rewarded with a decent damage hammer.
