Elden Ring, the successor to Dark Souls and Sekiro was originally coming to PlayStation in January 2022, the date has now been pushed back 6 weeks to the 25-Feb-2022 which isn’t that bad considering the year of delays we’ve had already in the video game industry.
Elden Ring is set in an open world called The Lands Between and looks like a glorious return to form with a beautiful collaboration between George R.R. Martin and FromSoftware.
Elden Ring looks set to take the best bits from the Dark Souls Trilogy as well as the fast paced action Sekiro brought with you working your way through not only an open world but plenty of underground caverns, dungeons and other mysterious locales where you will be faced with an onslaught of challenges, enemies and of course, what these games are most famous for; bosses!
Elden Ring looks absolutely stunning and is set to push your PlayStation 5 further than it’s going before with incredible verticality and environments never seen before in this type of game.
Elden Ring looks like it will redefine the “souls-like genre” and we can’t wait!
