Epic Games are giving 2 Evil Within games away for free before Halloween

Epic Games, those folks behind the Battle Royale sensation: Fortnite have decided that Halloween is a perfect time to be scared witless so the management team at Epic Games are giving 2 Evil Within games away for free before Halloween.
The Evil Within sees you play as Detective Sebastian Castellanos or Seb to his friends as you work your way through an horrific experience which descends further into madness the further you get through the game.
The gameplay itself is fairly simple with one basic rule: survive. However, progressing through the story can be a severe challenge especially on the harder difficulties and for you achievement hunters out there you will have to be better than elite to unlock everything The Evil Within has to offer with requirements along the way such as You Asked For It (Finish the game on (AKUMU) mode) and The Quick and the Dead (Finish the game with a clear time of under 5:00:00) this is a very rare 100% to achieve.
The Evil Within is available between the 19th and 26th of October 2023 to everyone with an Epic account (18+).

The Evil Within 2
In The Evil Within 2, you follow on somewhat from the first game except this time you’re a Father searching for your daughter, Lily who has been taken by the horrors in the world of STEM. The 2nd iteration is a lot more manageable than the first with enhanced gameplay mechanics, better chances for survival and all round an easier time of things… mostly.
In the World of STEM, rather than playing through the linear nature of the first game, you will instead be sent off into hub sections of the World taking down some seriously tough enemies and bosses along the way as you search for your missing child.
Achievement hunters will have a slightly easier time working through the list with requirements such as Stick it in My Veins (Completely upgraded all abilities) and Diligent Reader (Collected all files), you will still have difficulty based playthroughs to work through which will be skill dependant so it’s entirely up to you if you’re here for the story or if you want to push yourself as a completionist.
The Evil Within 2 will be available to download on the Epic store between 26th October and 2nd November 2023 (18+).
