F1 23 All in a Weekend's Work trophy

All in a Weekend’s Work
Be the fastest in all practice sessions, take pole position and win the race.

This is best done in solo Grand Prix mode, choose any race track you wish and before you start the event choose event settings and set the length of the event to long this gives you all 3 practice sessions, qualifying and the race. Now enter the event and head out on track for all practice sessions setting the fastest lap time, then do the same for qualifying before finally securing the race victory.

F1 23 Seasoned Rookie trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

Seasoned Rookie
Score the most points across a full F2 Weekend using Medium Session Length or higher.

Start a Grand Prix event and choose F2 as the car class and Austria as the track, in the setting set the race length to medium. Start the event which an F2 event compromises of a qualifying session, a sprint race and a feature race, the maximum points you can secure over an F2 weekend is 39 for pole position, both race wins and fastest laps in both races so do everything mentioned to earn this one.

F1 23 Oil and Water trophy

F1 23 Undisputed Winner trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

Undisputed Winner
Win the Drivers’ Championship.

This can be done in any of the available career modes but I suggest doing this in my team career as other trophies are associated to this mode. A full season consists of 23 races but you can do shorter 10/15 race seasons, by securing a podium on each race and beating your nearest rival you should secure the drivers championship easily, if your struggling you can drop the AI difficulty level down to make things easier.

F1 23 For all Those Back at the Factory trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

For all Those Back at the Factory
Win the Constructors’ Championship.

Very similar to the drivers championship but this is for the team so again it’s best done in my team career but this time your team has to secure enough points to beat the opponents over the course of the season. Again should you struggle, drop the AI difficulty to make it easier for your team to maximise your points and secure the Constructor’s Championship.

F1 23 Team Orders trophy

Choose time trial from the solo menu, you can do this using any of the car classes and circuits in the game but it’s recommended you use F1 cars and Austria as this is the quickest cars and fastest lap time. You do need to set valid lap times for it to count so cutting corners can make it longer to set 25 valid laps so drive within the limits of the track and with 25 valid laps complete this trophy will then unlock.

Elite Racer
Reach the Elite Division in F1 World Ranked.

For F1 23 online racing has been overhauled so you now play in a mini league over the course of 7 days, in this mini league you score points in each race which grant you the promotion into a higher league for finishing top of the league but also relegation will happen for those who finish bottom. Starting in a bronze lobby you need to work your way up through silver and gold before you reach elite, here is a list of tips and advice that can help you on your route into the elite division.

  • Tip 1: Never rage quit.
As f1 23 ranked races now operate on point based league progression by rage quitting you score no points and make no progression so no matter how bad a race your having it could get worse at the end of the league if you miss promotion by a single point.
  • Tip 2: Circuit knowledge.
  • With a new game it’s tempting to jump straight into online racing but in f1 23 code-masters have done extensive work on a new car handling model and some tracks have received subtle tweaks like the inclusion of the MotoGP turn 2a and 2b at the red bull ring in Austria. By playing a few mins in solo you get a feel for how the cars handle over the kerbs and in the low and high speed corners and this rewards you in the long run by having that 5% more knowledge than other online users.
  • Tip 3: Car setup.
Each circuit has its own characterises and you can set your car up for maximum top speed or maximum downforce to suit each of these circuits.
So tracks like Monaco, Singapore and Hungry need maximum downforce so you can push harder in the corners and gain momentum heading onto a DRS straight to give you an opportunity to overtake. On the flip side circuits like Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia and Monza need maximum top speed, you sacrifice a bit of corner speed but go much faster on the straights and combine this with your KERS deployment you can reduce the chances of being overtaken.
This can be referred to as your race craft and this is explained more below.
  • Tip 4: Race craft.
In real life a formula 1 driver will enter a simulation rig to get them ready for an upcoming race weekend and this helps them get up to speed when they get into the car as this is a form of race craft as explained in tip 2 circuit knowledge. Other types of race craft include DRS and KERS, DRS can be deployed when your within 1 second of the car in front at the DRS detection point so with the DRS open you will go faster and can run closer to an opponent and have a chance of overtaking them, when overtaking try to get past and return to the natural racing line as soon as it’s safe to do so then you don’t lose forward momentum through a corner following the DRS overtake.
KERS is your battery recovery and can be used to deploy electrical power to lap faster in qualifying or even used with DRS make you a bullet in a straight line but KERS can also be used to defend your position from someone trying to get past, if they have DRS then your KERS is like a last line of defence to prevent them from getting close enough to you.
The racing line is the fastest way round a circuit so if you do get overtaken try to force the other driver into an acute corner angle to slow them down but do this in a safe manner as a collision can ruin your race and should they get past and have to go round a corner at a slower rate your KERS can be used again to get you back past them.
For anyone who likes the longer ranked races weather is very important so before a race starts check the upcoming weather and be prepared for it with an early pit stop to change onto the correct tyres for the weather.
The safety car can also be used to your advantage as if a VSC or full safety car gets deployed you can react to this by performing a pit stop and save time in the process.
With all these factors taken into consideration not every opponent will use them to the maximum extent that they can do and that’s where you can gain vital points in your league position.
  • Tip 5: Take a break.
Tiredness can affect your judgement and that extends as far as playing a game for too long so you need to take regular breaks from the game to not affect your mental ability, one bad result could lead to another then this could lead to mis-judgement and it could all stem back to been tired, go for a toilet break, make yourself a hot or cold drink, have a few minutes away from the screen and return back refreshed.
  • Tip 6: Enjoy the game.
My final tip is to enjoy the game as reaching the elite division for most will be the last trophy they get in f1 23 so play all areas of the game like the return of the braking point story mode, take part in the challenges found in f1 world so playing with a clear mind can make you play better.
F1 23 Smooth Operator trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

Smooth Operator
Achieve Safety Rating A in F1 World.

Thanks to community feedback from previous entries on the F1 series a very easy exploit has been found for the A safety rating. Join a ranked lobby and go through the qualifying session as normal then just before the race starts pause the game and the AI will drive a clean race for you then repeat until you get the A rating.
