FIFA 20 is here and the trophies are as diverse as ever, here is the complete guide to help you towards your Platinum. Please Note: Several of these trophies will require 2 controllers to make them a lot easier to obtain. Below is a complete guide on how Loyalty & Chemistry works in FIFA 20 which you will need to understand as you make your way through the many Squad Building Challenges in FIFA 20.

Complete VOLTA Story

Simply complete the VOLTA Story Mode to unlock your Trophy.

Only One
Max your Avatar’s Overall rating in VOLTA FOOTBALL

Firstly I recommend you complete the VOLTA Story Mode first as by that point you will know how the mode plays and will have an avatar rating of around 75. Now comes the part where you need to play a tonne of matches at least 200 and each time you play, your performance like in story mode will cause your stats to increase.

The higher your rating the longer it takes to reach the next level, you can play in 3 different positions in Volta mode and they are defender, midfielder and attacker. Since the launch of the game, several different methods have been discovered to max your avatar quicker but with each patch EA releases the method changes so your aim is to reach around a level of 83 as a defender to max out your avatar. As soon as you hit maximum overall rating, your Trophy will unlock.

The Collector
Collect 5 Legends in VOLTA FOOTBALL

You’ll naturally collect 5 legends as you make your way through the Volta Story.

Sharpshooter
Score a goal from a Free Kick

This can be done in pretty much every game mode except VOLTA mode. The quickest way to do this is to use 2 controllers, for me, it was done in Ultimate Team using player one to dribble the ball to the outside of the box. Now controller 2 performs a bad sliding tackle using Square to trigger the free-kick. Once the free-kick has been triggered, controller 2 needs to press L2 or R2 to move the wall and needs to press R3 to move the goalie to open up space in the goal. Controller 1 now needs to aim the circle to the free space in the goal and then press Circle to slot the ball into the back of the net, when successful, your Trophy will unlock.

Perfection
Complete all Multiplayer Skill Games

PLEASE NOTE: In order to get this trophy you will need 2 Controllers.
From the main menu select kick-off and select sides with one controller on the left and one on the right. Now select any team you wish and start the match at which point the multiplayer skill game will load now simply press Cross to start that particular skill game and complete it until you see the results screen.

Press Options to start the main game after the skill game has been completed. When the main game loads press Options then choose the quit match option which is located in the bottom right of the screen, this will return you back to the side selection screen. Now simply repeat the process until you have played all of the multiplayer skill games. You will find a total of 10 skill games, here is a list of them;

Course race.
Another brick in the wall.
Coop shooting.
Mininet race.
Crossing mayhem.
1-on-1 contest.
Behind the dummies.
Precision shooting.
Mininet snooker.
1v1 challenge.

Each one is slightly different to the last and once you complete the all 10 your Trophy will unlock.

Natural Talent
Win a penalty shoot-out without missing

This can be very tricky to get but can be done with 2 controllers or boosted online with a friend. From the main menu press R1 until you reach the play tab, select kick-off, go through the screens until you reach the match type screen then choose Classic Match. Select any side you wish but a top side like Barcelona will help with better penalty takers. Simply play out the match for a draw, when you reach the menu choose the penalties option located on the bottom left of the screen.

Taking penalties is simple but thanks to a new control system can be harder than previous years to score so aim to a corner by moving the L3 to that corner and get controller 2 / boosting partner to move the goalie in the opposite direction. Controller one just needs to press Circle rather than hold it as this will take a gentle penalty and have an easier time of scoring. When controller 2 / boost partner takes their penalty, move the L3 so the ball is going over the bar and hold the Circle button to blast the ball over the bar. Repeat the process and as long as you score with all of your goals your Trophy will unlock.

Master Focus
Score an Open Play Goal after Timing your Shot Perfectly

Introduced in FIFA 20 is a timed shot that if done correctly causes you to make a better connection with the ball increasing your chances of scoring. Firstly, make sure in the game settings, timed shot is on, when you press Circle to shoot, a little bar will appear above the players head this bar is red and green with 2 sliders that move towards the centre of the bar. When they meet in the centre you need to press Circle again at this point for a perfect shot, when you manage to score a goal with this shot your Trophy will unlock.

Squad Showdown
Win a game in FUT Squad Battles

From the Ultimate Team menu press R1 until you reach the play tab, select squad battles, then select any team in the list. Choose whichever difficulty you like as if you fail to win you will simply have to play again until you get the win, once you have the win your Trophy will unlock.

Interior Decorator
Customize your Stadium by acquiring and equipping a TIFO or a Stadium Theme in FIFA Ultimate Team

New to FIFA 20 are stadium themes and TIFO’s, there are several ways to earn either of these items such as completing season objectives:

Season 1 has a stadium theme for reaching level 4.
Milestone of winning 200 squad battles will give you a TIFO.

The quickest and easiest way of getting this trophy is from the Ultimate Team menu press R1 until you reach the squads tab then press Cross to enter the active squad followed by pressing R1 until you reach customise. Select TIFO in the bottom right-hand corner equip the FUT 20 theme to unlock your Trophy.

Friendly Fun
Play a game using any House Rule in FUT Friendlies

New to FIFA 20 is the ability to play friendly matches with set conditions during matches in Ultimate Team. To play, from the Ultimate Team menu press R1 until you reach the play tab followed by friendlies, you can play against another controller, online or a friend. Either way, once you reach the match selection screen pick any match other than classic match as that won’t unlock your Trophy. This is just a “play” trophy so the result of the match does not matter, once the match is over your Trophy will unlock.

Divisive Figure
Play a game in Division 4 or higher in FUT Division Rivals

The hardest trophy to earn in Ultimate Team, after playing your 5 placement matches you will receive a skill rating based on your performance. Division 4 needs you to have a skill rating of 1250 at which point you will then have to play one more match in division 4 to get your trophy. As you reach a higher skill rating you will play people that also have a higher skill rating, winning a match will increase your skill rating around 30-35 points. Losing will result in a skill rating loss of 30-35 points so in order to get this trophy done you need to play and win consistently. Once you have reached division 4 and played a match, your Trophy will unlock.

Club Legend
Reach 200 club appearances with a player in FIFA Ultimate Team

This is just a matter of playing games making sure that one player in your team plays every game, as the Goalie tends to not get injured it’s probably best to use one of them for this trophy. Each game in Ultimate Team takes around 15 minutes to complete including load screens etc…so this will take you in excess of 60 hours of gameplay just to get so it is probably the most time-consuming trophy to get in the game. As soon as you have reached 200 club appearances with a single player, your Trophy will unlock.

Ranking Up
Achieve a Gold 3 Rank in FUT Squad Battles

Squad battles run on a weekly basis with each weeks competition starting on a Monday and finishing on a Sunday. To play in squad battles from the Ultimate Team menu press R1 until you reach the play tab then select squad battles. This is not a very difficult trophy but could be made hard if you try to reach the required rank playing towards the end of the week so the best way to unlock this trophy is to play on a Monday win or lose (you can’t draw) the match you will still score points. Ensure you play as many matches as early as possible. Once you do reach gold 3 your Trophy will unlock.

Grand Strategist
Create your own custom tactic in FIFA Ultimate Team

From the Ultimate Team menu press R1 until you reach the squads tab, select active squad. From here select any player and press Squae to bring up the player quick menu, now using the R3, highlight the “player instructions” segment and open up the instructions menu. From this menu press L1 until you reach the tactics tab, now alter any of the options in this menu for either attacking or defending, once you are done press Circle to return back to the Ultimate Team menu. At this point the game will ask if you wish to save, select yes to unlock your Trophy.

Welcome to the League
Achieve your first qualification for FUT Champions Weekend League

This is a Profession trophy, each match you play in Division Rivals will score you points no matter the result, the higher your division the more points you will score. You don’t lose points so this is all cumulative and your target is 2000 points so the more matches you win the quicker you will get to your total. Once at the total of 2000 when in the division rivals menu you can redeem your points for the next weekend league at which point your Trophy will unlock.

Puzzle Master
Complete 10 Squad Building Challenges in FIFA Ultimate Team

Squad building challenges are where you solve a puzzle of requirements by submitting 1-11 players. To reach the squad building challenges from the Ultimate Team menu press R1 until you reach the squads tab then choose squad building challenges. To start with you will only be able to complete the “Let’s Get Started” SBC which will introduce you on how to complete them. When you have reached the requirements which you will learn how they work from the let’s get started SBC press Options to submit the squad and accept the reward. Once you have completed and submitted your 10th squad your Trophy will unlock.

Play of the Season
Claim a Seasonal Reward in FIFA Ultimate Team

Seasonal reward is new to FIFA 20, you earn xp by doing set objectives such as playing matches, winning matches, buying players etc. For a full list of rewards and objectives from the ultimate team Menu, ensure the FUT CENTRAL is the active tab then press Cross on season objectives, this will bring up a menu of everything that you can do to earn xp in FIFA 20.

For me, the quickest way of earning XP was to complete the daily objectives which refresh at 18:00 UTC every day. To claim your reward press L1 until you reach the season progress tab where you will be shown on screen how close you are to a reward and what rewards are available. Simply press Cross on the reward to unlock your Trophy.

Divide and Conquer
Achieve a Tier 3 or better in FUT Division Rivals

Division Rivals were first introduced in FIFA 19 and it revolutionised the way you play ultimate team online. To play Division Rivals from the main menu press R1 until you reach the online tab then select play rivals and advance into the matchmaking screen. You need to play your 5 placement matches if you have not done so already, which will then place you into one of the 10 divisions.

Each division has 5 tiers for rewards which are based on points you score in each match and these rewards are weekly with the cut off point for Division Rivals being a Thursday morning. Tier 3 is the top 80% of players so playing your games on a Thursday after the new week has started is the best time to reach tier 3 quickly because it will take fewer matches. It may take you more or less matches it just depends on when you play the game but either way just play matches and eventually you will reach the required amount of points and unlock your Trophy.

Getting into the Action
Play 3 VOLTA FOOTBALL Kick-Off Matches using Different Team Formations

New to FIFA 20 is the return of FIFA street matches under the name of VOLTA football. This trophy is very misleading, you need to play 3 kick-off matches using different team sizes rather than formations (3v3, 4v4, 5v5). To do this from the main menu press R1 until you reach the play tab then select kick-off. Select the side of the pitch you wish to play on, then from the game type select VOLTA Football.

To speed this trophy up select VOLTA house rules then the “first to” option, select 3v3 rush and choose one goal, you can either win the game or let the AI win it does not matter. When match one is over you will be returned to the side selection screen now repeat the above steps but make sure you choose 4v4 and then play that match. Finally, for match 3 choose 5v5 and complete that match at which point your Trophy will unlock.

Beginner’s Luck
Win a “Mystery Ball” or “King of the Hill” match

To play either of these matches from the main menu select R1 until you reach the play tab then choose kick-off, once you’re in the kick-off menu select House Rules followed by either Mystery Ball or King Of The Hill. I chose King Of The Hill, in this mode, you need to hold possession of the ball in a random part of the pitch to build up a charging bar that will increase to a maximum of 3 but once you leave the box the bar will start to decrease. The number in the bar is the number of goals you will be awarded upon successfully scoring. The aim is to win the match so if needed you can set the AI difficulty to beginner, once you do win the match your Trophy will unlock.

Wise Choice
Unlock all traits in one skill-tree path

A very easy trophy to get, from the main menu press R1 until you reach the online tab followed by pressing Cross on Pro Clubs, create your pro if you have not done it already. Select the option player growth, then select any of the available play styles followed by selecting the traits menu. You start will 15 skill points to spend so simply put those points into any of the paths. I chose passing as each trait only costs 1 skill point, once the bottom trait has been activated your Trophy will unlock.

Unstoppable
Complete and win your first Pro Club Seasons league match

From the main menu press R1 until you reach online then select Pro Clubs. Now you will want to join a club which is very simple by pressing R1 until you reach the club tab. Choose the option, join club and select any of the recommended clubs, the game will give you a prompt to say you have successfully joined the club. Select play match which will put you into a pre-match lobby meaning you will be waiting for the current match to finish. Eventually, you will start a match now simply help your team win the match to unlock your Trophy.

At the Top
Play and Complete a Cup House Rules Match in Pro Clubs

While playing and completing a match is not hard, actually getting to a Cup Match can be tricky, the only sure-fire way is to make sure you’re the match Captain. From the main menu press R1 until you reach the online tab now select Pro Clubs. From the Pro Clubs menu press R1 until you reach the play tab, select play match to enter the pre-match screen.

The tricky part is becoming Captain of the Team because you have to be on your own in the match to become Captain or wait for another Captain to leave and you inherit the Captaincy. Either way, once you are captain you have to press R1 until you reach the settings tab, once in the settings tab select the option, match type and change it to Cup Match then return to the match lobby tab, then press Options to begin a match search. Now you have to hope another Pro Club is searching for a cup match at the same time as you, if not keep pressing Options until you find a match. Once you’re in a match it’s just a simple matter of playing out the match, once completed, your Trophy will unlock.

Evolution
Unlock a Specialty in Pro Clubs

A specialty is a trait in Pro Clubs but gives a bigger reward to your pro’s abilities. From the main menu press R1 until you reach the online tab now select Pro Clubs. From the My Pro screen select player growth and select any of the available play styles followed by pressing Cross on player growth. The quickest specialty to unlock is under the defending tab and is the first skill tree you reach. You only need 4 skill points so this can be done once you create your pro club. Once you have bought the specialty your Trophy will unlock.

Explorer
Attend both a Pre-Match and a Post-Match Press Conference

This trophy can only be earned in a Manager Career, if you haven’t started a Manager Career, from the main menu press R1 until you reach the play tab then select New Career and when prompted, select Manager Career. Now follow the steps to creating your manager, eventually, you will be given the option to attend a pre-match press conference, select this option then when in the interview select any response you wish to as they won’t affect the trophy.

With the press conference over now play the match, the result doesn’t matter. Once the match is over you will now be given the option to attend a post-match press conference so make sure you press Cross on this option, again you will be asked 3 questions to which you can respond however you wish. As soon as the final question has been asked your Trophy will unlock.

Comfort Zone
Select a response from every existing category during Press Conferences

Another trophy that can only be done in a Manager Career. You have to select an answer from each category response, you will encounter a total of 5 different category responses and they are as follows:

Praise represented by the clap hands symbol.
Motivation represented by the megaphone symbol.
Criticism represented by the swearing symbol.
Sympathy represented by the handshake symbol.
Calm represented by a thorny shaped symbol.

In order to get this trophy you will need to participate in at least 2 Press Conferences. When you’re in the press conference you are not time-limited so you can select all options to see which symbols are available. Once you have given an answer from each of the 5 categories your Trophy will unlock.

Trendsetter
Wear three different outfits to three different matches

To change your outfit, from the Manager Career menu press R1 until you reach the office tab. Select the edit Manager button You can alter any part of the Manager’s outfit, make sure you save when you exit back to the Manager Career menu then play the next match. Once you have changed the way the manager looks for the 3rd Match your Trophy will unlock.

Going Down in History
Win the UEFA Champions League Final

From the Main Menu select Kick-Off and select which side you wish to play on. Select Cup Final followed by UEFA Champions League from the list of Kick-Off matches. Choose the sides you wish to play as and against, now you can alter half-length and difficulty from the match preview menu, I chose amateur AI and 4 minute half. Now simply play and win the match, once the match is over your Trophy will unlock.

The Legends
Win the UEFA Europa League Final

From the main menu select Kick-Off then select which side you wish to play on. Select Cup Final followed by UEFA Europa from the list of kick-off matches. Choose the sides you wish to play as and against, now you can alter half-length and difficulty from the match preview menu, I chose amateur AI and 4 minute half. simply play and win the match, once the match is over your Trophy will unlock.

In the Game
Play a women’s football match

From the main menu choose kick-off and select your side then choose the Classic Match option. Now on the select sides screen press Up to reach the Nation, then press Right or Left until you reach the option Women. Now pick any 2 sides you wish, as this is simply a play match you don’t need to win just simply complete the match. Once you have completed the match your Trophy will unlock.
