God Of War Ragnarök The Eyes Of Odin Favour

Here is the God Of War Ragnarök The Eyes Of Odin Favour guide where we will help you find and destroy all 48 Ravens throughout the game which are required to access the Hilt of Forsbrandr which is required for Collector

The Raven’s are often in obscure locations off the beaten track and are destroyed by throwing the Leviathan Axe (hold L2, line up the dot and press R2 to throw the axe), there is another throwing weapon you can acquire later in the game which makes getting the Ravens a lot easier, I won’t include any spoilers here but you will see the weapon as you work through the guides below.

To see how many Ravens you have destroyed in total, go: Touchpad> Goals> Favours> The Eyes of Odin> scroll right to see how many Ravens you have destroyed or remaining. The Raven’s are also trackable through the maps realm overview (Touchpad> Map> L1 / R1 to tab through each realm showing you how many Raven’s you have acquired / remaining).

Given the amount of Ravens you will need to destroy, I have spread the Ravens out throughout their own individual guides helping you navigate through each of the 6 of the 9 realms which are:

  1. Svartalfheim: 13 Ravens.
  2. Midgard: 6 Ravens.
  3. Alfheim: 10 Ravens.
  4. Helheim: 2 Ravens.
  5. Vanaheim: 15 Ravens.
  6. Muspelheim: 2 Ravens.

Once you have removed all 48 of Odin’s Ravens you can acquire the Hilt of Forsbrandr by heading over to:

Open the 6 Legendary Chests there and defeat the challenging The Raven Keeper boss as well as take on and defeat The Pale One who is a fully grown Dragon who will drop the Hilt of Frosbrandr as a reward.

Odin's Raven Locations: Svartalfheim

There are 13 Ravens to destroy in Svartalfheim, some of which can only be done once you have the Draupnir Spear so progress through the story to this point. The hardest Raven to destroy will be the one in The Watchtower as it moves very quickly compared to the other Ravens so aim in front of where the Raven is going to be and throw the Axe early to remove the Raven eventually.

Check out the complete Svartalfheim’s Odin’s Ravens Locations for how to find and remove all 13 Ravens in the Dwarven realm.

Odin's Raven Locations: Midgard

You will have 6 Ravens to destroy throughout Midgard, all of which can be done after you have visited the Norns in the main story.

Check out the complete Midgard Odin’s Raven Locations for each Ravens location as well as how to remove them all from the realm of Men.

Odin's Raven Locations: Alfheim

You will have a fair bit to do before you can remove all 10 Ravens in Alfheim, chief amongst which is to ensure you have completed both the Secret of the Sands and Song of the Sands Favours which also unlocks Full Gufa subduing the sandstorms in both The Barrens as well as The Forbidden Sands making every area you need, accessible.

Check out the complete Alfheim Odin’s Raven Locations for how to track down and take out all 10 Ravens throughout the realm of Elves.

Odin's Raven Locations: Helheim

There are only 2 Ravens to destroy as you make your way through Helheim during the story, however, these 2 can be destroyed at a later date if you miss them.

Check out the complete Helheim Raven Locations for the exact locations of both Ravens in the realm of the dead.

Odin's Raven Locations: Vanaheim

You have an impressive 15 Ravens to destroy throughout Vanaheim, a third of which can’t be touched until you make your way to The Crater which is done by completing the Scent of Survival Favour, you will then, in order to find every Raven need to complete the Return of the River Favour.

Check out the complete Vanaheim Odin’s Raven Locations for how to find and remove all 15 Ravens keeping watch throughout Freya’s homeland.

Odin's Raven Locations: Muspelheim

There are 2 of Odin’s Ravens loitering around the fiery realm of Muspelheim, neither of which are available until very near the end of the game.

Check out the complete Muspelheim Odin’s Raven Locations for where to find and remove both Ravens keeping watching over Surtr’s Realm.

Niflheim (Fight The Raven Keeper)

Once you have destroyed all 48 of Odin’s Ravens, head to Niflheim and follow the path forward to The Raven Tree where you will hear the Song of the Ravens then be able to open all 6 Chests in front of the tree. The Raven Keeper will then spawn having a moan about you removing her precious Ravens and challenges you to a fight.

Now before you go in for the fight, ensure you are at least power level 7 with heavily upgrades weapons, armour, runic abilities, maxed out skill tress for Kratos and your companion as you have a serious challenge standing before you. When you’re ready to start the fight, head back towards the Mystic Gateway and take a right in to the arena where you could previously do the Niflheim Challenge.

The fight itself is tough as The Raven Keeper is essentially an over powered Revenant so you need to use Sigils to be able to hit her then once she’s taken some damage she will summon a veritable legion of Hel Walkers, which, once despatched will bring The Raven Keeper back. Once she gets below 25% health, she will then summon The Pale One, a fully grown Dragon who utilises powerful breath, swiping, biting and swooping attacks in an attempt to ruin your day. Take The Pale One down then despatch The Raven Keeper swiftly before she empties the remainder of your health bar.

Despatch all who stand before you to be able to finally acquire the Hilt of Forsbrandr as well as having collected the ultimate Runic Abilities for all 3 weapons in the chests.
