Patch 1.07 was released 17-Mar-2022 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 and unfortunately the developer’s have had to take a game that can only be played with an online connection offline for near enough the whole day due to some critical errors. Not even 2 weeks after release many players have been hit with a series of disappointing detriments to their play time such as credits being nerfed to push more players towards micro transactions, dirt tyres being swapped out or racing slicks in the already challenging dirt licence tests as well as a series of other misfortunes.
Gran Turismo 7 is unplayable following patch 1.07 is one of the worst we’ve seen in a while in a game this close after launch. The developer’s have apologised for the ongoing server maintenance but the game having so many of its elements requiring an online connection is frankly ridiculous. This effectively completely shuts down single player activities for not being able to connect to the games servers which for me at least is a very backwards way of doing things and hopefully this will be fixed sooner rather than later.
There is no time as it stands for when Gran Turismo 7’s servers will be back online, hopefully it won’t be too long then we can all get back to racing around the single player races with the connection restored.
