Welcome to the Gran Turismo Sport Trophy Guide.

Gran Turismo Sport enters the realm of dedicated online racing in this iteration of the popular simulation racing series and also has plenty of trophies to unlock along the way, we have the complete trophy guide to help you through this experience.

Gran Turismo Sport Gran Turismo Platinum Trophy trophy
PlayStation Platinum Trophy

Gran Turismo Platinum Trophy
Acquired all Gran Turismo Sport trophies!

Gran Turismo Sport Record Number of Wins trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

Record Number of Wins
Matched Michael Schumacher’s record of 91 F1 victories

Sport mode only so races will be against other players, your best strategy for this trophy is to play sport mode after a circuit and car combination reset on a monday, that way you have maximum amount of time to learn the new circuit.

Set as fast a lap as possible and hope you start the race towards the front, try to keep your race clean as i found clean races were easier to win.

Avoid corner cutting as penalties in races cause you to slow down in the designated slow zones, most importantly of all remember you wont win every race as there will always be better players and take breaks from these sport mode races to give yourself a rest and reset your body from what is a very long grind.

With all 91 wins secure your Trophy will unlock during the results screen.

Gran Turismo Sport Record Number of Races trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

Record Number of Races
Matched Rubens Barrichello’s record of 322 F1 races

Sport mode only so all races have to be done online against other players, this I by far the easiest of the 3 Sport Mode trophies as this is merely a complete 322 races.

Races are available to compete in around every 15-20 mins so you wont be too far away from a new race starting, your only objective is to learn each circuit and car you race with as daily races have the same requirements for 7 days which can be very handy to learn the circuit enough to go for the pole position and then the race win for the other sport mode trophies.

As stated once you cross the finish line for the 322nd time your Trophy will unlock.

Gran Turismo Sport Certified Genius trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

Certified Genius
Matched Ayrton Senna’s record of 65 pole positions

Sport mode only so you will be competing against other players, the best way to tackle this trophy is to play sport mode on a Monday when the game has a circuit and car combination change, learn all the braking points and how far you can cut corners without incurring a time penalty because you literally want to go as fast as you can.

With your best time set you can then enter the race countdown to match up with other players randomly when the timer reaches zero, this is the point where you are matched with people of a similar driving skill level and safety rating, if your lucky and are quickest in this lobby you have secured your pole position.

As a result of random lobbies you might find other players quicker so you can either try to be better your own one lap time or play the game at a different  time of the day and hope you are fastest, once you have got your 65th pole your Trophy will unlock.
