Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Collectibles (The Definitive Edition)
Here we will go over how to acquire all of the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Collectibles (the Definitive Edition) of which there are 4 sets in total, 1 for each of the 3 main islands and 1 final set which can be found around San Andreas. The collectibles will require specific gear to acquire for example you need to spray 100 tags in Los Santos so you will need a Spray Can with ammo, the Snapshots in San Fierro need a camera etc.
Given the amount of collectibles you need to acquire we have broken them down into their own guides to make things a lot simpler (plus the page wouldn’t load with all of them here so it’s a win-win). You can work through through the collectibles in any order as long as you keep track of the collectibles you already have as they aren’t marked on a map it could be similar to looking for a needle in a haystack without a magnet so on that basis I strongly recommend going for the collectibles in the order they appear in the guides or even writing your own list and crossing them off as you go. The Oysters in particular can be easy to miss or skip then if you do miss any you will have a very tough, long time figuring out where the uncollected collectible(s) are.
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Collectibles
The collectibles you need to find as you work towards unlocking Remastered are:
Spray Tags
Spray Tags can be found throughout Los Santos and the first 6 are sprayed during the Tagging Up Turf story mission which is also where you will be taught how to use the Spray Can which is an equippable “weapon”. There are several different Gangs which have their tags in sometimes obvious, sometimes obscure locations and you may well encounter resistance so save regularly and dedicate the time to getting the tags sprayed over once you’re comfortable you can handle yourself. Snapshots
Snapshots are situated throughout the San Fierro district and there are 50 to collect which you can do by firstly collecting the camera from CJ’s bedroom in his house on Grove Street, Los Santos. You then need to aim your cameras lens at a specific point which then reveals a pink and blue spinning camera icon you then need to take a picture of which counts towards the total Snapshots. Horseshoes
Horseshoes are the collectibles found through Las Venturas and to get most of them you will need a Jetpack one of which can be found at the Northern airstrip much later in the game so save these until after you complete the main story to ensure you have access to every area. Collecting the Horseshoes is simply a case of touching them although than can sometimes be in obscure places. One saving grace is the fact the horseshoes spin which causes them to light up so looking around in the more difficult to find locations will help you spot them in darker areas. Oysters
Unlike the previous 3 collectibles, Oysters are found throughout the entire San Andreas map, there are 50 in total and to get all of them you will need a decent lung capacity which you can improve by swimming under water, draining your O2 gauge to near minimum then resurfacing. Collecting all of the Oysters will give you a large boost to your sex appeal as well as make you able to date any girl regardless if they have dumped you or not as well as counting towards unlock Remastered.
