Here we will go over all of the Grand Theft Auto San Andreas Vehicle Missions (the Definitive Edition) which are required to achieve 100% completion in order to unlock Remastered.
There are 6 vehicle missions you need to work through with most of them going you some very useful rewards such as more armor, increased max health or even making you fireproof which is incredibly helpful for certain missions.
I recommend working through the vehicle missions as early as you can as the benefits and money can help you through to the mid game where you get access to much better gear.
The vehicle missions are started by getting into a specific vehicle then pressing Up which will then have you work through levels of varying difficulty with a timer as well just to add to the difficulty.
If you destroy a vehicle you will lose all progress for that given mission type so ensure you drive carefully to your objectives, collect, destroy or extinguish your target then either deliver or make your way to the next objective working through systematically.
The vehicle missions you need to complete in San Andreas as you work towards achieving 100% completion are:
Taxi Driver
You can become a Taxi Driver very early in the game by simply stealing a Taxi then pressing Up which will then task you with going around the area collecting fares by dropping people off at designated locations before the timer runs out.
Causing to much damage or scaring your passenger will cause them to flee so you nee do drive cautiously whilst also keeping an eye on the timer, especially as you will have multiple passengers to collect on occasion.
If you are working towards attaining 100% completion which you need to do in order to unlock Remasred you will have to complete 50 Taxi Fares that can be done in any number of taxi’s.
Once you have successfully dropped off your 50th fare you will also unlock Yes I Speak English.
Firefighter
During Firefighter you will need to progress through 12 levels of increasing difficulty as you work toward extinguishing flames on vehicles of varying size as well as pedestrians on the later levels who will be running around as they’re on fire.
You can find a Fire Station just off the freeway in Commerce which usually has a Fire Engine outside, if not, go and do something else then come back. The Commerce Fire Station can be found here:
You can find a fire truck by either causing a fire or going to a Fire Station and stealing one. Ensure you don’t have a wanted level then press Up to begin the Firefighter missions which task you with going to a location then extinguishing the fire that will be there.
You will fail the Firefighter mission if you kill any pedestrians or destroy your Fire truck so be careful as you work through the levels taking care to drive cautiously but quickly to get to a scene where your help is needed.
Once you have completed all 12 levels of Firefighter you will become completely immune to fire damage as well as unlocking Rescue a Kitten Too?.
Paramedic
To become a Paramedic you will firstly need an Ambulance so steal yourself one then press Up to begin the Paramedic missions which task you with picking up multiple patients all of whom need dropping off at hospital before they die.
You can usually find an Ambulance in the grounds of the hospital which is in Idlewood. If there isn’t an Ambulance in the grounds then go off and do something else coming back later to check. The hospital grounds can be found here:
You will have 12 levels to work through as a Paramedic as you work towards achieving 100% completion which will also unlock Remastered all of which need to be completed in the same Ambulance so be careful whilst driving around and avoid a wanted level as Ambulances are weaker than they look.
You will fail the Paramedic missions if you kill any patients or don’t get them to hospital in time then, once you have successfully completed 12 levels of Paramedic you will gain an increase to your maximum health as well as unlocking Saviour.
Vigilante
Vigilante missions will see you chasing and eliminating criminals of varying difficulties across 12 levels of increasing difficulty. You will need a Law Enforcement vehicle before you can begin the Vigilante missions such as a Police Car, Police Bike, SWAT van or you could make this a lot easier by waiting until near the end of the game where you can steal a Rhino tank which makes you virtually indestructible.
You can also complete the Flight School earning Gold Medals in each of the events to unlock the Hunter attack helicopter which not only has lock on missiles and a hard hitting machine gun it also allows you to fly over the buildings meaning traffic and conditions are no longer an issue which can be a big help as the timers on Vigilante missions can be strict.
If your vehicle is destroyed you will fail the Vigilante mission and will need to start again with a new Law Enforcement vehicle from level 1 if you are working towards 100% completion which unlocks Remastered.
Once you have completed 12 levels of Vigilante you will gain an increase to the maximum amount of armour you can equip as well as unlocking, What the City Needs.
Pimping
Pimping is a reskinned version of Taxi driver except this time you need a specific vehicle, a Broadway lowrider one of which can usually be found at the gas station in Idlewood here:
If the Broadway isn’t there go off and do something else for a time then come back and try again until you are in a Broadway then press Up to begin Pimping which tasks you with going to collect some Hookers, take them to a location then pick them up again once they’re done with their clients.
There is a time limit and you will fail the mission if you kill your Hookers rather than collecting them or if you fail to get back to them in time after their job is done.
You will need to complete all 12 levels of Pimping in one sitting if you are working towards unlocking Remastered so be careful not to damage the Broadway, then, once you have completed the Pimping vehicle mission you will then be paid by any Hookers you pick up to have some time with as well as being 1 step closer to unlocking Remastered.
Freight
Freight missions won’t be accessible until you get to Las Venturas, the last unlockable area in the game where you can then enter a train and deliver packages to 10 different stations which will be marked on your map.
The 10 stations are broken down into 2 levels of 5 and the biggest cause for concern here is going round a corner to fast in the train so ensure you keep an eye on your speed. Floor it on the straights then back it down for the corners.
If you derail you will fail the mission so ensure you take care as you make your deliveries where, once you have completed both levels having successfully delivered all 10 packages you will be awarded $50,000 as well as being one step closer to unlocking Remastered.
With all of the above vehicle missions completed you will have received some generous rewards along the way as well as a good amount of money.
