GRID Legends Release Date is confirmed

Codemasters have a long line of successful racing franchises, one of their best for overall content is the GRID series. We now know thanks to a recent post from Chris Groves, the Social & Community Manager at Codemasters courtesy of the PlayStation Blog that the GRID Legends release date is confirmed to be 25-Feb-2022 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.

GRID Legends is set to feature a wide array of vehicles from trucks to hyper cars, Le Mans to classic cars across a wide range of circuits with the usual GRID craziness, destruction, speed and precision. I think one of the smartest decisions Codemasters have made is the fact they claim you’re able to have cars from different classes race at the same time, so you can have and I quote:

“Using Grid Legends’ Race Creator, you can take all this variety and mould it into your very own unique and amazing events. Rip up the rulebook of racing and design something you couldn’t play anywhere else, controlling all the key aspects of an event. Want to put together a true motorsport challenge, putting our fastest GTs in a 50-lap race around Indy? Go for it. Fancy something a little more… out there? How about electric hypercars against big rigs, through the streets of London, in the snow? You got it! Just think of the chaotic and exhilarating moments you’ll be a part of via the Race Creator.“

This to me sounds very exciting and I’m really hyped for this game. GRID Legends also seems to have in game rivalries built in enabling you to have an extra competitive edge rather than just winning, it always feels better to have an opponent you just want to beat above all costs. Check out the GRID Legends trailer below so you can see for yourself how good this game is looking.
