Grid Legends Balancing task trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Balancing task
In a Multi-Class event, beat a Mazda 787B in a Mazda MX-5

For this trophy your driving an MX-5 cup car and you need to beat it’s bigger cousin the Mazda 787B. To do this choose race creator from the main menu and then select multi class as the discipline then the game will automatically select random car classes for you. You need to remove all classes and then add vintage prototype for the 787B and MX-5 cup for the MX-5. Choose any location and layout you wish and any amount of laps but choose a maximum grid of 22 racers to face as this increases your odds on succeeding.

When a multi class event starts the slower cars start first and the faster ones have to wait that way negating any power benefit the faster cars has. But this is still a race and those 787’s will soon catch up once they start so you still have to race clean and fast. Once you cross the finish line and have beaten at least one 787B whilst driving an MX-5 your trophy will then unlock.

Grid Legends Caffeine and Catchup trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Caffeine and Catchup
Be in 22nd place during an Elimination event, then go on to win

Choose race creator from the main menu and then select elimination as the chosen discipline. In an elimination event you race around a circuit and a timer counts down which when it expires eliminates the driver in last place then a few seconds later the timer will start again until only one driver remains. For this event you have the freedom to choose any location and car class you wish, this event does not have a lap count but you have to set it at the maximum grid of 22 competitors or it won’t count.

Choose your car and start the event, when the race starts you have to drop into 22nd and last place immediately. This is very important as you have to be in last place even if just for a brief few seconds and I feel it best to let the timer start counting down for the first elimination and at this point work way forward through the pack. Get a lead in the race and maintain it letting all the other opponents get eliminated then when you’re the only car left the race will end and you’ll earn your Trophy.

Grid Legends Around the Globe, AGAIN! trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

Around the Globe, AGAIN!?

Grid Legends Raged Racer trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Raged Racer
Cause at least 3 opponents to reach Nemesis status during a single event

Create a custom race choosing any car class and location and layout you wish with as many laps and a minimum of 4 opponents and start this event. Your aim is simple, use the opponents as your breaking point then doing a big enough hit will cause your opponent to spin out will give them the nemesis status and this will be seen by a red banner on screen. Do this 3 times to unlock your Trophy.

Grid Legends Ramp it up! trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Ramp it up!
Hit every ramp on every lap of a Stadium Trucks ramp event

Stadium Trucks are very unique in the fact they have suspension designed to tackle jumps during a race. For this trophy you need to hit every ramp successfully on every lap in a Stadium Trucks event and the good news is flashbacks can help should you not hit a ramp precisely. This can be done on any Stadium Trucks event that has ramps and for me it was around the Yokohama docks.

Each lap had 5 ramps and the event was 3 laps long but each event is different to the next so could be a different number. A clean jump is when you hit the ramp and get airborne, your finishing position is irrelevant so you can take your time to line up your truck for each ramp then when all ramps have been hit your Trophy will unlock at the conclusion of the event.

Grid Legends For EV, with love trophy

For EV, with love
Successfully hit 50 Boost gates in Electric events

Every electric race in the GRID Legends career mode has a set of boost gates which if you cross through both the entry and exit gate correctly will award you with the ability to have an acceleration boost for a short time. Every electric race in the grid legends career mode has a set of boost gates which if you cross through both the entry and exit gate correctly will award you with the ability to have an acceleration boost for a short time. You have to cross through both gates for it to count as one successful hit and if done correctly you will get an on screen notification and your race engineer will inform you the boost is ready so this is a more time consuming task than anything else. With 50 successful boost gates hit your Trophy will unlock.

Grid Legends Reiko fan club trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Reiko fan club
Achieve a Legend rating in any Drift event

A legendary drift is awarded for performing one very long, high scoring drift which is achieved by maintaining the drift which increases the rating until you reach the drift legend rating. This can be done at any time in a drift event however I recommend doing this via the race creator option from the main menu. Set up a drift event and choose the Okutama GP as the location then set as many laps and opponents as you wish. As you enter a corner reduce your speed by applying the brake and turn against the corner then tap the handbrake and steer hard into the corner and apply full throttle and hold the drift as long as you can. Your drift will increase in rating the longer you hold it and will love through the ratings which are:

  • Drift.
  • Great drift.
  • Awesome drift.
  • Incredible drift.
  • Insane drift.
  • Drift king.

And finally drift legend which once achieved will unlock your Trophy.

Grid Legends Chill Out trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Chill Out
Complete 5 events in Snowy conditions

Firstly a word of warning that snow conditions are not an option on all the tracks within GRID Legends however it seems that only Dubai and Havana don’t have these conditions so please avoid these locations. What you need to do is choose race creator from the main menu and choose circuit racing as the discipline then add any car class you wish. Choose a track and layout then make sure it has snow conditions available which can be done in the day or night and if you don’t see snow as option choose another location.

Choose as many laps and opponents as you wish the start the event. This is nothing more than a complete event so crossing the finish line is all you need to do a total of 5 times. Driving in snow is very hazardous and cars will easily slide even when going in a straight line so this might be a new condition to content with for anyone that has never tackled a racing game with snow as an option. With 5 different events compete your Trophy will then unlock.

Grid Legends Moon above the Castle trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Moon above the Castle
Complete any event at the Havana Castillo View route during Night conditions

Choose race creator from the main menu and then choose circuit racing as the discipline. The car class is personal preference but the location has to be Havana and the layout has to be Castillo View and finally the weather has to be night. After this you’re free to choose the number of laps and opponents then start the event once you’re all set. This is merely a complete event so you don’t need to win so whichever position you finish in your Trophy will unlock.

Grid Legends Metropolis Sleek Racer trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Metropolis Sleek Racer
Complete a race at London, Paris, Moscow, and Chicago locations in any Track Day Hypercar

Choose race creator from the main menu and then crate a circuit racing event, the car class has to be track day hypercar. A normal hyper car is very powerful and in most cases are the fastest road legal car available but these track day variations are the next level in tuning and are even more powerful whilst still trying to hold in essence a road legal feeling. You have to race around the 4 set locations which are:

  1. Chicago.
  2. London.
  3. Moscow.
  4. Paris.

The layout you choose for each location is entirely personal choice along with the number of laps and opponents you want to face. As this is just a complete trophy you won’t need to worry about making mistakes or spinning out as once you cross that finish line it all counts. Once you have crossed the finish line for all 4 locations regardless of your position your Trophy will then unlock.

Grid Legends The time is now trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

The time is now
Win a Time Attack event using the Honda CRX MightyMouse

Time attacks see drivers all set off a different times on track with the aim of setting the fastest overall lap to determine the podium. To do this choose race creator from the main menu then set up a custom event, the discipline has to be time attack and the car class has to be tome attack. You need to drive the Honda CRX Mighty Mouse but you have complete freedom on location, layout, laps and number of opponents. With all that set up let the event load up choosing the CRX.

This car is a highly tuned up hot hatch with a massive amount of torque so it’s very fast. You may drive this car off track while learning how it handles but again like other custom events the restart option is there should you need it. You need to complete this time attack setting the fastest overall lap time and once you’re successful your Trophy will unlock in the celebration screen.

Grid Legends RUSH ON trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

RUSH ON
Win a Stadium Truck event on any Moscow route

Choose race creator from the main menu and create a custom event with circuit racing as the discipline. The car class has to be stadium trucks and location has to be Moscow but the layout can be whatever you wish. You are free to set the weather, number of laps and opponents and with all that done you free to start the event. The Stadium Truck event for those who don’t know is designed for high flying circuit racing with massive jumps thrown into the mix.

As a result these beasts have massive suspension travel and are rear wheel drive with a very powerful engine so they accelerate really quickly but under acceleration the rear suspension will compress causing the truck to tip up. On the flip side when you brake the front suspension will in turn compress forcing the truck to tip forward. In corners this suspension enables you to ride the kerbs like they are not there so it could take some time for you to get familiar with how this vehicles operates. When you have a feel for these trucks the task at hand is victory so set the difficulty low in order to give your self an easier time. When you do cross the finish line in first place your Trophy will unlock.

Grid Legends Couldn't be more British trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Couldn’t be more British
Win a race featuring a 22 grid of Mini Miglias around any London route. At night. In the rain.

Select race creator from the main menu and then choose circuit racing as the discipline then choose Classic Mini Cup as the car class. The location has to be London but the actual layout is your choice, the weather conditions haves to be night and rainy and you need a full grid of 22 cars. You can have as many laps as you wish I chose one lap and through a bit of bumping and barging got into the lead on the last corner so you may want to increase the number of laps to 2 or 3 giving you extra time to make those overtakes and get into the lead. This is a win trophy so set the difficulty as low as you’re happy with and always remember the restart button if you make to many errors. As long as you cross the finish line in first place, your Trophy will unlock during the results screen.

Grid Legends San Francisco Rushing trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

San Francisco Rushing
Win a race event on every San Francisco route

In total, GRID Legends features 6 different San Francisco circuit layouts. The quickest way to play these is to choose race creator from the main menu and set up a custom event however you wish for racing action using any car class got wish the only restrictions is the location which has to be San Francisco. This location has a total of 6 different layouts which are as follows:

  1. Grand Prix Circuit.
  2. Gran Prix Circuit B.
  3. Sprint Circuit.
  4. Sprint Circuit B.
  5. Short Circuit.
  6. Short Circuit B.

As long as you have one of these layouts you’re also free to set the weather, number of laps and opponents as you see fit. This is a win trophy so it’s probably best to leave the difficulty on easy to not give your self a hard time. With a victory secured in each of the 6 layouts your Trophy will unlock at the conclusion of the final race.

Grid Legends Rhythm Shifter trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Rhythm Shifter
Win a race using manual transmission

When a new racing game comes along it only seems right that we have a trophy for using those gears manually and Grid Legends is no different so here is my guide on winning with manual gears. Choose race creator from the main menu and you’re technically free to choose any event as long as you can secure a win at the end of it so I chose circuit racing and the Ginetta cup as this car class is not too powerful and easy to control using those manual gears.

Again, the location number of laps and number of opponents is entirely your choice so with all that done press Triangle to accept the event and choose your car and let the event load up. Before you start the event choose the settings menu and the difficulty tab followed by changing the transmission to manual sequential.

With manual gears enabled you need to press Cross to change up and Square to change down, try to get a feel for the rev limiter which is located in the bottom left hand corner of the game screen and try to change up just as it hits the red bar as this aids a perfect gear change. Now as most players use automatic transmission this could take some time to get familiar with so your free to restart the event as many times as you wish. When you do get the hang of it enter and win the event to unlock your Trophy once you cross the finish line.

Grid Legends Blue, Blue Skies trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

Blue, Blue Skies
Win a race at Indianapolis Oval Circuit in the Jupiter Classic Stock in Dry conditions

From the main menu choose race creator, now In the race creator screen you need to choose circuit racing as the discipline and classic oval stocks as the car class. The location has to be Indianapolis and the route needs to be Oval Circuit A or Oval Circuit B, the conditions have to be day and sunny. From this you’re then free to choose the number of laps and opponents you face where you can then start the event.

At the car selection screen the only car available is the Jupiter classic stock so select this and let the event load up. Indianapolis is a 2.5 mile rectangular oval with only 4 corners and your driving a big and heavy Nascar so the car does not turn very quickly meaning it may take a few seconds to get a feel for the car. Race around this track and pick up the victory to unlock your Trophy.

Grid Legends Content Tracker Redux trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

Content Tracker Redux
Own 100 cars and complete any event in each of them

Grid legends features a total of 128 cars at launch so to get this trophy you need to drive at least one event in the vast majority of these cars. So it’s best to concentrate on career mode first as this will help you make natural progression of unlocking and using cars while racking up events in them. When you have unlocked The Gauntlet you should be around the 100 cars unlocked mark which can be found by choosing  the progression tab found under the home menu. You can access any and all cars by choosing the garage tab then highlight any vehicle then press Triangle to access the vehicle upgrades screen.

This will tell you any mileage you have done in that specific car so if this says zero then you know it’s a car you haven’t done an event in yet. Choose to create a race creator event where you’re free to choose the event type and circuit you want to use as they all count. Then enter and complete this event which once concluded will count as an event driven for that car so move onto the next car and once you have done at least 1 event in 100 cars your Trophy will then unlock.

Grid Legends What a Legend! trophy
PlayStation Gold Trophy

What a Legend!
Complete The Gauntlet in Career Mode

In order to unlock The Gauntlet you must first complete 16 Rookie events to open up the Semi Pro strand, then complete 30 Semi Pro events to open up the Pro Strand before finally completing all 9 categories of the Pro strand to unlock The Gauntlet. Then you’re free to enter The Gauntlet and win the event to earn your Trophy.

That’s the GRID Legends Trophy Guide complete I hope it helps you through the game.

So you don’t have to drive 1 million miles as in the last Grid game….

Fortunately not, they put the Around The Globe, Again!? trophy / achievement in although it is only there in name rather than that ridiculous 24,901 miles we had to drive in GRID 2019

Is the Time extend Crew trophy also glitched for you? I couldn’t unlock it and I have done all the elimination events? A few others on the forums saying it will not unlock. Great guide BTW

Any tips for 100 cars trophy? How to track and know how many cars I’ve used?

The Career Mode is such a grind, Is there a shortcut process or a list of events that can be skipped so we only do those needed for trophies? Thanks!
