Here is the Horizon Call of the Mountain Scholar trophy guide which will help you find all Lore Collectibles throughout Horizon Call of the Mountain of which there are 20 to be found. Lore Collectables are certain story items you can find sitting randomly around the world. There are 20 Lore Collectables in total across the game. You usually don’t have to go too far out of the way to collect these, but you can easily miss them if you aren’t paying attention (although they can still be picked up in chapter select).

NOTE: In Chapter 2: Pilgrim’s Trail, you will reach a point where the path splits. Once you take one direction, you are locked into that direction for the chapter, and you will need to replay Chapter 2 after the game to get the collectables on the other path. This guide differentiates these collectables with [LEFT PATH] and [RIGHT PATH] tags before the collectable. After you complete the final chapter, you can then replay Chapter 2. The Lore Collectibles you need to acquire throughout Horizon Call of the Mountain and their respective locations are as follows:

Sun-King Sadahin Statuette

Chapter 1, Brightdawn.
Your first Lore Collectable can be found in a house after climbing up the cliff once you collected your bow. Shoot the ladder and climb around the house, and the Sun-King Sadahin Statuette will be sitting on the table.

Watcher Trophy

Chapter 1, Brightdawn.
After defeating your first Watcher, you can go yank out its eye for the Watcher Trophy Collectable.

Carja Prayer Flag

Chapter 2, Pilgrim’s Trail.
After ziplining down over the canyon, you can find a Carja Prayer Flag in front of you.

Feather Charm

Chapter 2, Pilgrim’s Trail.
[LEFT PATH] After defeating the Glinthawks, you can zipline to the camp. There will be a Feather Charm sitting on a pedestal next to the campfire.

Glinthawk Trophy

Chapter 2, Pilgrim’s Trail.
[LEFT PATH] After collecting the Feather Charm, look to the right and you can collect the Glinthawk Trophy by pulling the machine part out of the dead Glinthawk.

Oseram Chisel

Chapter 2, Pilgrim’s Path.
[RIGHT PATH] After getting past the pack of Watchers, you will enter a walkway with a few cages hanging around. The Oseram Chisel can be found sitting on the closest one.

Scrapper Gear

Chapter 3, Upper Slopes of Brightdawn.
After defeating your first pack of Scrappers, you will be told to grab a Scrapper Gear from one of them. This is unmissable.

Carja Helmet

Chapter 3, Upper Slopes of Brightdawn.
Before going to the campfire to end the chapter, look across the area and you’ll see the start of a Legendary Climb. Once at the top, you’ll see the Carja Helmet sitting to the left.

Metal Chimes

Chapter 5, Talonreach Ascent.
After using the explosive barrels on the Thunderjaw, the next section will have an orange box to the right, that is holding the Metal Chimes.

Broken Nora Quiver

Chapter 6, Mother’s Tears.
During the first stealth section with the Watchers, you will likely climb into an open house along the tall grass path. Inside the house, on the table, is a Broken Nora Quiver.

Nora Bracelet

Chapter 6, Mother’s Tears.
Once you climb the large cliff face and break down the door to a cave, the Nora Bracelet will be sitting in a basket on a table in the back.

Matriarch Beads

Chapter 6, Mother’s Tears.
Climb the ladder after the last collectable and immediately turn around to the right. There will be Matriarch Beads sitting in another basket on a table.

Carja Military Buckle

Chapter 6, Mother’s Tears.
After entering the small town from the cave, there will be a Carja Military Buckle sitting in a crate in the back of the space.

Oseram Buckle

Chapter 7, Elder’s Buckle.
If you head down the right path after killing the Shellwalker (through the wood arch) You will eventually reach an elevator. Go down the elevator and you will be led to a cave. You can find an Oseram Buckle behind several planks of wood. Continuing this path will lead you back to the starting area, so nothing has to be replayed.

Metal Necklace

Chapter 8, Talonreach Tower.
After being ambushed by a variety of machines, go into the doorway in front of you and the Metal Necklace will be in the orange box immediately to the right.

Ancient Vessel

Chapter 10, Devil’s Anger.
After going down the large zipline and climbing the ladder, the Ancient Vessel (coffee mug) will be in front of you on the desk.

Strike Piece

Chapter 11, Eagle’s Fall.
After blowing open the door, you will be able to enter the house. The Strike Piece is sitting in the second windowsill on the right.

Sun King Jiran Statuette

Chapter 12, Day’s End.
After swinging to a wall and using your pickaxes to climb up, you will scale across a few bricks to the left. The Sun King Jiran Statuette will be sitting atop a ledge while climbing.

Rusted Manacles

Chapter 12, Day’s End.
The Rusted Manacles are found on the same table as the key you need to pick up.

Blazing Sun Medal

Dawn’s Grasp (hub), Challenge Area.
In the Challenge Area of Dawn’s Grasp, if you head to the right (past the instruments), there will be a chest with the Blazing Sun Medal inside.
