Here is the Lies of P Fallen Archbishop Andreus boss guide which will help you take down the first of the 2 phase bosses in Lies of P which means you have to kill this thing twice before it is down for good so conserving your consumables is imperative.
Location: Chapter 4: St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel.
Rewards: Twisted Angel’s Ergo, Ergo x8,778.
The Fallen Archbishop is a very powerful boss and one you may well need to summon a Spectre at the Crack’s Calling to overcome. The main reason for the difficulty is you have a fairly tough first phase where you need to completely empty the bosses health bar where he will then resurrect causing you to now have to deal with a much more powerful enemy with no chance of respite in between.
Work your way around the Cathedral then drop down after pushing the brazier off the ledge to remove the decay and pull the chain to open the way to the Stargazer, rest up then go through the corridor to the boss area, summon if you need to then get into the arena and turn the lights on if you’re jumpy.
After Andreus has slammed down get ready for a rough time as this hulking behemoth will slam down on you, swipe with its arms and tongue as well as perform incredibly powerful charged attacks which are designed to make you use as many resources as possible so make good use of your agility and avoid the majority of the attacks as much as you can or at least block them. Focus on using charged attacks and chipping away whilst saving your Fable Catalysts as you will need them for what’s coming until you can hit a Fatal and hopefully bring the first phase of Andreus down.
With the beast down, Andreus will then be reborn from the corpse and come at you hard with a lot more range and power. If you lock on to the boss you will more than likely miss every attack as the lock on primarily focuses on Andreus who is on the end of the tentacle which constantly goes out of reach even from the longest weapons leaving you the option of using throwable items or just manually aiming at the main body as you did in the first phase.
The second phase’s difficulty will be mostly determined by how well you performed in the first phase. If you used most of your Pulse Cells, Fable Catalysts and consumables then the second phase will be very difficult to get through. If, however, you managed to get through the first phase efficiently then the second phase will be a lot more manageable.
You need to avoid the staff slams, tentacle whips and body attacks as well as dealing the majority of the attacks you already dealt with in the first phase and they do come at you thick and fast so ensure you stay up close when the Bishop is swinging around then at a distance when the main body starts attacking.
One particularly nasty attack the Archbishop can do is where he pulls in the energy from the local area before firing it at you like a railgun. This attack is very hard to dodge so ensure you are close to full health as the beam will rip around 60% of your health off if you have high vitality so players who haven’t put a lot of vitality points into their character could easily get one shotted.
This is a fight that will more than likely take you a good number of attempts to complete so you can learn the attacks, learn the patterns and get a feel for how the first section plays out where you need to become more and more efficient which then in turn gives you more resources for the second phase of the fight which in turn increases your chances of survival.
That’s the Lies of P Fallen Archbishop Andreus boss guide complete, I hope it helped you beat the first 2 phase boss fight in Lies of P. There are many more to come.
