Here is the Lies of P Golden Melody trophy guide which will help you collect and play all records in the game of which there are 16 found throughout the City of Krat with some of them only being available on specific playthroughs. Lies of P requires you to complete the game twice, once on a lie playthrough and once on a truth playthrough. I recommend doing your lie playthrough on your first run then on your second go through the game you need to tell the truth.
The Records you need to obtain throughout Lies of P have specific requirements so to ensure they are met refer to the Lies of P Story Progression Essentials guide which will help you avoid making mistakes. Ensure, on your 2nd playthrough that you follow along the steps for the Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel (refer to Veteran Explorer) as making a mistake such as not giving the Hound the 4 fingered glove can cost you an entire playthrough.
Records can be found in a number of ways with them being looted, gifted or purchased from Merchants on your second playthrough then once you have a record you can go to the gramophone to the left of the Concierge desk in Hotel Krat and playthrough any of the records. You won’t need to listen to the whole song, just start a record, listen for a second or 2 then move on to the next one.
This guide will be laid out so you can acquire the records in the order they become available throughout both playthroughs so ensure you have all of the records from your lie run before starting playthrough 2 to prevent you potentially needing a third playthrough which are as follows:

That’s all of the records you can find in your first playthrough as long as you are focusing on lying. The records which become available on your second playthrough where you should be telling the truth are as follows:
Feel
Missable.
Location: Chapter 2, Elysion Boulevard Entrance.
To receive the Feel record you will need to retrieve the baby for the Weeping Woman then lie to her so to get that done, work your way around the rooftops to the courtyard where you fight the large Police robot then before dropping down speak to the silhouette of a woman in the window to your right. Defeat the Mad Donkey boss then continue through to the building just before the Scrapped Watchman boss and look right to find a Headless Puppet.
Defeat the Headless Puppet then collect the Broken Baby Puppet from the back wall which you can then return to the Weeping Woman, agree to give her the baby then when prompted for an answer you need to choose the “She’s a cute baby” dialogue option where she will then be thankful and reward you with the Feel Record.
Divine Service
Missable.
Location: Chapter 4, St. Frangelico Cathedral Library.
Once you are down in the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel you will need to defeat a powerful Elite which opens the door to an elevator leading down into the Cathedral Library. Rest at the Stargazer then go into the small room directly to your left where you will find Cecile, speak to her where she will task you with acquiring the Archbishop’s Holy Mark.
Make your way up and around the biome pass the antlered Elite, go up the stairs, push the brazier off the ledge to remove the decay then go into the Archbishop’s chamber where you can collect the Holy Mark from the floor.
Drop down and pull the chain near the entrance to the Fallen Archbishop Andreus’ boss arena which opens the gate leading back to the Stargazer. Rest if you need to then go and speak with Cecile who will thank you for returning the Archbishop’s Mark.
Go off and defeat the Fallen Archbishop Andreus boss where you can then return to where Cecile was located and collect the Divine Service record which she will have left behind for you.
Someday
Location: Chapter 5, Malum District.
Go through the Malum District then into the Red Lobster bar. Either run pass or defeat the Elite and the Carcass enemies to where you can access the back room on the ground floor.
Look left to open the shortcut back to the Stargazer then look behind the barrels to find a ladder leading up to a Merchant who need to offer a Bribe to before he will sell you the Someday Record for 3,800 Ergo.
Fascination
Missable.
Location: Chapter 6, Estella Opera House Entrance.
This can be a difficult one so to start off with go through into the Opera House then take a right up the stairs whilst dealing with the girl puppets who are a lot easier to put down if you lure them away from their spawn points until they no longer have strings attached to them as these strings imbue their attacks with Disruption which will begin to fill your debuff meter and when it fills, you die instantly.
Go up the stairs then take out the Spider-lady who will be blocking your path backing away when she becomes operatic to avoid a heavy hit of Disruption, follow the path out to the balcony, take a left then open to door to find Adelina Corday, a Singer who has fallen sick.
Ms Corday asks you for a taste of fruit which is a rare thing in Krat. Providing you collect the Krat Supply box from the top of the St. Frangelico Cathedral Chapel and have handed the box to Polendina at Hotel Krat the Red Apple will be available for purchase, if not, fast travel back to the St. Frangelico Cathedral Library then take the lift up before going left into the caged room to find a chest which holds the Krat Supply Box thus making the Red Apple purchasable for 1,000 Ergo.
With the Red Apple acquired you can then fast travel back to the Opera House, head back round to Adelina then offer her the fruit where she will thank you. All of this does need to be done before you kill Romeo, King of Puppets as with the King defeated you will then be able to return to Ms. Corday’s chambers where she will have left you the Fascination Record.
Why
Missable.
Location: Chapter 7, Grand Exhibition Gallery / Chapter 9, Krat Central Station Platform.
Ensure you have spoken to Belle in the Grand Exhibition Gallery biome who can be found by dropping down to the left off the rafters where the spinning Jesters are at the top of the Gallery before you take down the Champion Victor boss.
Belle will then go to Hotel Krat after Champion Victor has been defeated. If you fail to speak with her then you will need to try again on your second playthrough.
Continue through the game to Chapter 9 and defeat the Corrupted Parade Master boss (use fire) where you can then re-access Hotel Krat. Speak with Belle who is to the right of the stairs behind the Stargazer where she will task you with finding her partner.
Fast travel to the Chapter 9 Krat Central Station Platform Stargazer, head down the stairs and go into the green carriage to find a Carcass enemy you need to kill. With that done go back to Hotel Krat and speak to Belle again to receive the Why Record.
Quixotic
Missable.
Location: Chapter 7, Grand Exhibition Conference Room.
Once you have defeated the Champion Victor boss, ensure you have at least 1 Gold Coin Fruit remembering the tree where the fruit spawns is in the back of the Hotel Krat section near Giangio and has been accessible since you have taken down the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss in Chapter 5.
Go through from the Champion Victor biome to find the Red Fox and the Black Cat. Speak with them where you will learn the Black Cat has an eyesight problem which is only curable with Gold Coin Fruit. Agree to hand them some to be rewarded with the Quixotic record.
Misty E'rA
Location: Chapter 8, Hermit’s Cave.
You can acquire the Misty E’rA Record in the Hermit’s Cave which is accessible from the Barren Swamp Bridge biome once you have tasked Venigni with deciphering the Rusty Cryptic Vessel which is purchasable from Polendina after you have returned all 3 Krat Supply Boxes for 1,000 Ergo.
The Hermit’s Cave is a dangerous biome which is full of Carcass enemies in all forms from normal to Brute and even 2 powerful Elites you need to take down so ensure you go in with some powerful weaponry which is preferably fire based.
Make your way through the first half of the Cave to the Stargazer then rest, repair and make your way through to the back room to find a powerful Elite who can change its arm between a shield and a wrecking ball who you need to kill to acquire the Misty E’rA Record.
Far East Princess
Location: Chapter 10, Hotel Krat.
Work your way through the Relic of Trismegistus Entrance biome and defeat the Black Rabbit Brotherhood boss which will enable you to go up the slope and speak with Alidoro. Exhaust his dialogue then choose to attack him which you will need to confirm.
Hit “Alidoro” once to kill him where you will then receive Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel. Take the Cryptic Vessel to venigni ensuring you DO NOT speak to Eugenie until you have tasked Venigni with deciphering the Vessel where you will then receive the Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel Decryption which you need to read in full.
With the Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel Decryption read, go and speak to Eugenie where, on your first playthrough you need to Lie to her so choose the “I think he was just a talented Stalker” dialogue option where Eugenie will then reward you with the Far East Princess Record.
Memory Of Beach
Missable.
Location: Chapter 11, Hotel Krat.
Once the Laxasia the Complete boss has been defeated and as long as you have been following along with the Lies of P Story Progression Essentials you have spoken to and administered a cure for Lady Antonia which you can find the steps for by referring to the, The Story of the Refined Old Lady trophy guide you can then go back to Hotel Krat and speak with Polendina.
You learn that Lady Antonia has passed away peacefully having been cured of the Petrification Disease, go up to Geppetto’s Quarters where you can collect the Memory of Beach record from Lady Antonia’s wheelchair.
Shadow Flower
Missable.
Location: Chapter 11, Ascension Bridge.
Defeat the Laxasia the Complete boss, then, as long as you have followed along with the Lies of P Story Progression Essentials guide you will have seen the “Your Heart is Pounding” message appear on screen as well as having played all of the records up to this point of which you should have 9.
Once you have seen the “Your Heart is Pounding” message on screen you can then go into the room at the end of the Ascension Bridge biome where you will find Sophia who has seen better days. Speak with her where, on your first playthrough you need to choose the “Give her peace” dialogue option where Sophia will then die.
With her gone and the cut-scene over you can then collect the Shadow Flower record from the chair Sophia was sat in.
Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 (Golden)
Missable.
Location: Playthrough 2, Chapter 1, Cerasani Alley.
Once you’re in New Game+, go through and speak to the Merchant before taking on the Parade Master boss who will have the Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 (Golden) for sale which will set you back 6,000 Ergo to purchase.
This record will be unobtainable if you take down the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster boss before buying it.
Quixotic (Golden)
Location: Playthrough 2, Chapter 2, Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard.
Continue through the game on New Game+ to the Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard Stargazer then go left before going back outside to find a Merchant who will sell you the Quixotic (Golden) Record for 10,000 Ergo.
Shadow Flower (Golden)
Location: Playthrough 2, Chapter 7, Lorenzini Arcade.
As you make your way through the Lorenzini Arcade in Chapter 7 you will come to a Merchant near the fountain and the shortcut back to the Stargazer who will sell you the Shadow Flower (Golden) Record for 10,000 Ergo.
Memory of Beach (Golden)
Location: Playthrough 2, Chapter 9, Abandoned Apartment.
Once you get to the Chapter 9, Abandoned Apartment biome, rest at the Stargazer if you need to then go up the stairs and look left in the room to find a Merchant who will sell you the Memory of Beach (Golden) Record for 10,000 Ergo.
Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1
Location: Playthrough 2, Chapter 10, Hotel Krat.
Follow the same steps as you did to acquire the Far East Princess Record except this time, once you have read the Alidoro’s Cryptic Vessel Decryption you then need to answer Eugenie with the “He was Eugenie’s older Brother” dialogue option.
You will then receive the Proposal, Flower, Wolf Part 1 Record as well as unlock The Story of a Stranger Girl.
Fascination (Golden)
Location: Playthrough 2, Chapter 11, Arche Abbey Outer Wall / Rosa Isabelle Street.
Proceed through the Arche Abbey Outer Wall biome then once you’re at the lower level having used the ladders and planks to descend. Put the Macho Man down then go along the passage passing the trap plates to the elevator you can take down.
Speak to Test Subject 826 where he will then tell you he is planning to escape to Rosa Isabelle Street.
Defeat the Laxasia the Complete boss (use Acid or Fire if you’re struggling) where you can then find Test Subject 826 on the bridge overlooking the fires from the Chapter 6, Rosa Isabelle Street Culvert Stargazer.
Speak to Test Subject 826 where you can then purchase the Fascination Golden Record for 10,000 Ergo.
