Here is the Lies of P Laxasia the Complete boss guide which will help you bring down the toughest boss in the game as you battle a heavily armoured knight followed immediately by a Goddess of Lightning. This fight is a brick wall to get through.
Location: Chapter 11, Arche Abbey Prayer Room.
Rewards: Sad Zealot’s Ergo, x16,550 Ergo.
Laxasia is an incredibly powerful boss and one I recommend you leave for now if you have struggled at any point to get to the Prayer Room biome. Take about 10 hours and go off to farm some levels. You want to ensure your weapon is maxed out, you have spent every piece of Quartz to this point which will get you into P-Organ phase 5. Max out your weapon and practice perfect parry timing as it is invaluable in this fight.
I know what I just wrote sounds a bit extreme but this fight is seriously difficult. I finally managed to find success by using a maxed out Two Dragon’s Sword which is a special you trade the Puppet-Devouring Green Hunter’s Ergo for which is a reward for bringing down the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster.
Also, summoning a Spectre is all but essential in order to have Laxasia take a break from smashing you around the arena especially in her second phase but we’ll get to that. Ensure you have fire abrasives equipped as well as heavy artillery such as Shot Put and Saw Blades to help build up stagger. This is a fight you may well lose countless times and it almost feels designed in that way. I have taken a lot of bosses down in Lies of P and similar games and this one borders on unfair at time although it is doable so persevere and remember you can always go and farm more levels.
At the start of the fight, Laxasia will be a heavily armoured knight wielding a large electrified sword who will slash at you, swipe, run her blade along the ground causing electrical discharge which explodes after a short time, swipes, slashes and lunges.
One of her more dangerous sets of attacks is a near 20 hit combo she will perform where she slashes at you whilst closing range before finishing up with several roundhouse swipes of her blade. If you get caught in this combo and can’t get out of it you will be all but dead. Especially if she follows up with an electric nova.
Laxasia is unrelenting in her assault and there are very few windows to heal so don’t hesitate, if you need to heal then do so. You will need to conserve the majority of your supplies for the 2nd phase which makes the first look trivial so learning her attack patterns through continued failure will help you become more proficient.
You obviously have skill in the game or you wouldn’t have made it this far so use what you have learnt to avoid, counter, dodge and punish all whilst being aware she is a lot faster than she looks.
You need to build her up to a Fatal Blow, however, when she is staggered you will need to avoid the lightning slam so back away then get in there quickly, do the Fatal then wait for her to start getting up before you attack her again as she will have a window of invulnerability like most bosses in the game when they are put on their ass.
With the first phase dealt with the fight now really begins as you may be low on supplies and your Spectre may have already taken a beating so now is the time you need to unleash everything you have. She is weak to fire and acid so make good use of those elements but the largest thing she is weak to is her own lightning attacks.
At the start of the 2nd phase Laxasia will rain lightning balls down on either you or your Spectre. If its your Spectre then get close, avoid the slam and punish as she recovers. If you are the target then perform perfect parries just before each ball hits you which will send the balls back to Laxasia and hurt her which can build up a lot of stagger.
The majority of her lightning based attacks can be parried although you might have more success dodging them instead. You then have some very fast charged up attacks as she zips around the arena which can also be parried but they are better off being dodged.
There are some times when you will fight Laxasia where she will just go at you full bore and you will barely have a chance to react. Other times she will be a little bit more relaxed so keep trying until you manage to bring her down which I found success in doing so by utilising powerful fire based Fable Arts on the Dragon Sword, a good amount of luck and the fact she targeted the Spectre rather than me, hopefully you’ll bring her down soon enough.
