Here is the Lies of P Mad Donkey boss guide which will help you take down the first Stalker in the game who can be a challenge given the length of his weapon, high defence and agility.

Location: Chapter 2, Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard.
Rewards: Mad Donkey’s Hunting Apparel, Mad Donkey’s Mask, Krat City Hall Key, Enigma Assembly Tool, Ergo x1,278.
The Mad Donkey can be found on the Alchemist Bridge from the Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard. Before going on to the bridge ensure you open the elevator shortcut in the building to your left where a sword wielding puppet bursts out from which gives you a quick path back to the fight should you die. The Mad Donkey has a large cleaver style weapon which he swings around with precision and a lot of power. Try not to block these attacks instead focus on getting out of range then dashing back in for a few good shots focusing on Fable Arts and charged attacks. If the window is small then just hit him a few times with regular attacks.

When he glows red you need to get out of the way as his overhead slam can shred health off you or smash through your guard leaving you open for more punishment. If you can hit the Donkey with any sort of status such as the Electric Coil Stick you can buy from the merchant near the elevator shortcut that will give you an advantage. Also, there is the possibility that if you kill the Mad Donkey with a Fatal Blow then the animation locks you out of obtaining the, The Bastards and the Sweepers trophy as the death occurs after the cut-scene begins. This happened to me on my alt account when I was testing the game to see if I were going to cover it but then on my main account the trophy popped as it should so try and avoid Fatal Blows to end the fight to remove the issue.

Keep pressure on the Mad Donkey and don’t forget to use your Legion Arm as it can help to inflict that extra bit of damage that can be the difference between a win and a loss.
