The First Puppet
Kill the Nameless Puppet.

Here is the Lies of P Nameless Puppet boss guide which will help you make the right decisions in the game to be able to take on the best designed boss in the entire game. Although you may regret starting the fight as this guy is tougher without a head than he is with one.

Location: Chapter 11, Arche Abbey, Under the Abyss.
Rewards: Nameless Puppet’s Ergo, x19,449 Ergo.
Proceed through the game and defeat the Simon Manus, Awakened God boss who is potentially the final boss in the game. Ride the elevator down in the middle of the Arena and rest at the Stargazer before going through to speak with Geppetto. Providing you have been following along with the rest of the guides, you will have grey hair and you will also have receive the “Your Heart is Pounding” message several times which is done by lying throughout your entire first playthrough and playing every record you have up until you defeat the Laxasia the Complete boss of which you should have 9.

Fighting and defeating the Nameless Puppet will give you the Rise of P ending so ensure it is the ending you want to go for before going through to speak to Geppetto as the only way make another decision is to start the game over again either fresh or in NG+. With all of that done you can then refuse to give Geppetto your Heart when he asks for it which will then disappoint your Father causing him to task the Nameless Puppet to put you down so Geppetto can revive his deceased Son. It’s a complex game.

Upon refusing Geppetto’s request you now need to prepare for an incredibly tough, 2 phase fight where you need to fully deplete the Nameless Puppet’s health bar twice which is a lot easier said than done.

The Nameless Puppet is a tall opponent with very high range and incredible speed in the first phase and can deplete your entire health bar in one combo with ease. Most of his attacks can be parried although you will need to be very proficient to do so, you can also dodge in the direction the attacks are coming from so when they land you aren’t there.

Avoid the slashes, swipes, charged attacks, energy blasts, ground pounds and grabs as best as you can with the key to success as it has been in every other 2 phase boss fight in the game is to be efficient in the first phase where you will then have more resources available in the 2nd phase. If he has beaten you down in the first phase you will need a miracle to survive the onslaught in the second phase.

When the 2nd phase starts the real fight begins as you now have double the attack come at you all of which have more power and speed than they did in the first phase, the range is drastically increased as well so you may need to dodge twice rather than the once as you did in the first phase.

There is a particularly nasty dash attack the Nameless Puppet can do but there is a large build up for it so if you get caught out you need to manage your stamina better and wait for him to put both swords down besides him, his eyes will go gold and you need to not be in the way when he dashes.

He will also switch between 2 and 1 handed swords, when he goes for a single blade the range will be increased whereas with a 2 sword setup he will utilise fast hard hitting combos.

I can sit here and write all day long about the attacks, the this, the that and the other but the only way you will know how fast and dangerous the Nameless Puppet is until you fight him yourself.

Utilise your best attacks, use fire abrasives, charge your Fable Arts and build up to a Fatal, as long as you can dodge, parry, block and counter you will be able to beat the Nameless Puppet which then ends Lies of P.

That’s the Nameless Puppet boss guide complete, I hope it helped you bring down the true final boss.
